From a mapper to another, this is one of the best maps I have played in a long time! Really a fun and unique experience. Sometimes it felt like I was revisiting Warcelona again. Fun puzzles that are not unfair and fits both new and old more experienced players. I was glad to see some of the props used from Resident Evil also! I liked the thunder/lightning effects in map 1, they added a nice spooky vibe to the map. In map 1 I noted a small error near the beginning. There is a white van that sits next to a house which takes you to an area players should not be able to go. You can see nodraw on buildings and where the world geometry ends. The van is probably meant to block the player from going in there, but it has it's collision set to [Non solid]. Just a small fix :) I also reported it on the steam bugs and error page.
I also want to mention the beautiful shadow work you had in the sewers as well. I personally love to work with shadows myself, and the shadow of the zombie leaning towards the fence looked really dope! Nice work on that.
I for one, did not think map 3 was boring at all. The designs are very well made and you can see love has been put into the architecture. Not just plain 90 degree angles etc. The color corrections adds a lot to an already nice atmosphere as well! And the fact that all saferooms are vehicles, makes you feel like you are traveling around. This is something most mappers don't do.
My favorite map was the finale, I love a gauntlet and running through that beautiful vegetation was a pleasant experience. Well made designs and the world look realistic. I give you a full 5 star for this campaign. Had a blast and will def play it again sometime soon :)
- Beautiful and advanced designs
- Decent overall length on the campaign
- Good transitions between maps
- Amazing atmospheres
- I don't understand spanish (Not your fault :D)
- Some minor nav problems with the bots here and there
- The campaign is not infinite
I like it, as a fellow Resident Evil fan this was a blast! Managed to survive for 39 minutes. I'm usually not a big survival fan, but wanted to give this map a go. And I'm glad I did. Details are nice and the environment has a good atmosphere. The only issue I encountered was when I was camping on top of the roof and the rain would stop to render. I'll play it again sometime soon!
This map has been around for a while, and I realized I never made a review for it. It's great to have you back here :) This map is a solid 5, great atmosphere and creativity. I always play this map around the halloween holidays, lot's of fun!
Loads of custom content
Good length of campaign
-Doors look way too small
-Few bot nav errors here and there, they would get stuck sometimes
-The hatch in map 3 was bugged for me, at least I think, couldnt get it to open
Overall satisfied, I think the final could be improved if the train arrived after some time rather than just being there and opening the doors. I also noticed a missing texture in the 5:th map on an escalator. Thanks for the map and great work :)
The atmosphere is so good throughout all chapters. My favorite part was outside the hospital entrance in map 3. The new areas you added looks really good and the swinging telephone poles were the icing on the cake. I walked around the area for a few minutes just admiring everything. I don't know why so many people seem to not like the police car lights, I thought they were looking kinda nice to be honest. They actually cast some lightning to the surroundings rather than just being rotating beams, which is more realistic. I got nothing negative to say about your work with this campaign, the only thing I noticed was a purple missing texture in the area I was just talking about on map 3. A small rectangular texture, it was located behind the dumpsters on the building wall to the right of the manhole you climb up from. Judging by the size and where it was placed, I'm guessing it was a ventilation texture of some sort ? And I liked that you kept the jesus room :DD Anyways good work with this map and looking forward to see more from you :) Cheers.
Thank you for your comment! Thanks for playing and I'm glad you enjoyed and are looking forward to the rest.
I must thank you again for mentioning the 'missing texture' in the hospital grounds zone, looks like I missed it when I was renaming the materials. I will fix it tomorrow!
I did also keep the 'jesus' rooms! But I added navigation mesh to those areas so the infected can path to them.

Awesome map :) Unfortunately for me, the game crashed 2 times. First time on the 5:th chapter, just after the "call tank" event. Funny thing is I spammed the button so many times that there were about 10 tanks when I rounded the corner, yikes! They wiped out my entire team but luckily I threw a molo that hit all of them and backtracked until they were all dead. The second crash happened in the finale when the chopper appeared. I was just a few steps from reaching it when the game crashed, lol.. My favorite part of the campaign was definitely the bridge section, it looked really nice and had a fun event to it. Overall I think the campaign has a nice atmosphere and a lot of nice designs. The only con I guess is that I wanted some areas that pulled me away from the city streets a little, maybe some sewers, etc.. But other than that it is a good campaign. Well done :)
I also got crashed to desktop on the finale, but during defending. I was defending near the container truck while waiting for the first wave of tank. However when I looked around, suddenly the game froze & crashed to desktop :(
Overall I enjoyed most parts of the campaign, and will rate 4/5 stars
Long campaign with some cool custom sounds. I liked the turret events, kinda felt like World war Z in the bunker where there were a whole bunch of corpses on the floor. It's not often you end up killing around 1000 zombies per chapter. I liked map 4 and 5 the most. Map 1,2 and 3 got a little bit generic tbh, whereas 4 and 5 lifted it up. Also, I noticed that the vegetation was floating mid-air in one level (think it was map 4?). Not sure if it was just a bug for me, or maybe you forgot to change your detail material file? Other than that, I did not notice any bugs or glitches. Great job with your work :)
I was not sure if I was going to give this a 4 or 5, but i'll give you the 5. See it as a strong 4 but weak 5. Map 4 was absolutely amazing and 5 comes not far after. Map 1-3 was lacking a bit in terms of beauty compared to 4 and 5 and the difference was pretty clear. Map 1 has a few spots where you can see a clear line into the abyss. Not going to spoil the final but I had a bit higher hopes for the ending as well. The file size is huge but I don't mind. I will definitely recommend my friends to play this campaign as I had a blast playing it!
- A lot of custom made stuff
- Very nice setting
- Map 4 was a big favorite, amazeballs design
- No problems with bots or missing textures
- Perfect length
- Had good fps throughout the entire campaign
- Map 1 needs some loving when it comes to details, cliffs and some displacements look too edgy here and there
- No intro
- Final was not entirely what I expected
- Many doors were very small, almost hobbit size
Thanks for the great campaign, I'm sure this will be a popular map!
Very detailed and polished campaign, just what I expected from CastorJudo :) Overall I enjoyed the map.
Doesn't feel too repetetive, even though you are basically in the same environment for all maps.
-Some bugs here and there with navigation, bots get stuck in some places
-Campaign could be a little bit longer
-Too many events, but I guess the length of the campaign has to do with this?
-Maps can be quite harsh to play with bots, unless you play on low difficulty. The bots really struggle during the water walk and in the explosive room. I recommend playing with friends here.
-In the finale map, you can simply avoid fighting anything if you just collect all gas cans and drop them in front of the generator. Then u can just start the engine and fill em up with very little to no fight at all and run away to the helipad ^^
