Notes:
******
This map is a 5 player Skirmish map. Finances are kept to a reasonable level with the many Oil Derricks and Ore Nodes available.
Access between the 2 islands is via 2 bridges, crossing the river to the north and south. The bridges are defence points, so early control is a definite asset.
There are also raised areas on the islands which can be adequately defended if needs be. The raised areas are also sited for various Tech structures.

Fictional Note:
******
Major George Cruickshank served under Confederate General John B. "Prince John" Magruder during the American Civil War. Cruickshank's repeated successful raids at the defence of the Virginia Peninsula in March 1862, were based upon a tactic where the enemy were scouted and then encircled for attack from an unsuspected rear position. These tactics did indeed earn him a reputation along with which came the humorous nick-name "Call-Again-Cruickshank".
Cruickshank continued to use his successful ploy in many campaigns, well into June 1862. Unfortunately for him and his raiding party of 25, the tactic was used just the one time too many. On his last attack, the enemy were laid in ambush and when Cruickshank burst into the enemy lines, all but 2 of his men were shot and killed, including Cruickshank himself.
