Description

This is an early prototype of No Mercy's Apartments map, found in the version 1.0.0.0 retail CD file of Left 4 Dead, dated October 28, 2008, a month before the game's official release.

This map was compiled during mid-2008, when TRS was changing the art design of the game to look like the retail game. As a result there is still many "beta" leftovers in the map, including original environment lighting, point lighting, fog settings, skybox, and the clothing store. The apartments interiors are barebones but the outdoor areas are pretty detailed.

In this addon you will find the original untouched map, which is "l4d_hospital01_apartment_p_15", as well as a fixed version with missing assets replaced. However, we do not have access to all the scrapped assets, so some were removed or substituted with other assets. I have created a navigation mesh to make these maps playable.

BEYTAH BUT NOT BEYTAH ENOUGH

THER NEDS 2 BE MOR BLACK AND PURPLE TEXTUR MOR BEYTAH, LOWER DA BRIGHTNEZZ, RAISE DA CONTRAST MY BRUDDER. ET ES OKAY CAMPGAIN BUT NOT BEYTAH TO DA MAX, SO WORK ON DAT AN ET WELL BE GOD TIER BEYTAH MAP. BUT NOT BEYTAH ENOUGH EVEN THO IT TAKEN STRAIGHT FROM CD DA CD ES NOT BEYTAH ENOUGH, NEEDS FULL BEYTAH LOOK AND ASSETZ.

LIKE I SAD LOWER DA BRIGHTNESS AND RAISE DA CONTRAST THEN IT 10!/10 BEYTAH
