Description
THIS CAMPAIGN WILL NO LONGER BE RECEIVING UPDATES. IT WILL REMAIN THIS WAY AS-IS FOR THE REST OF ETERNITY.
Why, you ask?
When I first got into mapping, I... well, you don't care. This is very noobish work and as much as I'd like to see it finished, I want to move on from it to work on better, original content. Thanks for understanding.
The Parish Beta: Waterfront is a L4D2 campaign that restores the hidden and graphically broken "c5m1_waterfront_sndscape" map to its original and playable condition, along with four other rebuilt and beta-inspired maps. "c5m1_waterfront_sndscape" appeared to be a test map showing off its soundscapes. The Parish was originally planned to start in early morning, and end in the afternoon.
One of the unique features of this campaign is my included Beta/E3-Music soundscript. This soundscript enables music heard in the Beta/E3 builds, and utilizes as much sounds that were left behind in the game files as possible, keeping filesize to a minimum.
(THIS DOES NOT replace the music in the retail Parish campaign, or other campaigns using the Parish soundtrack)
This campaign supports Coop, Versus, and Survival modes on all maps (excluding sndscape map).
This is a work in progress, and content within the add-on is subject to change and progress.
Installation Instructions:
