      Pros:

      Excellent atmosphere.
Nightime campaigns like Death Toll and especially Hard Rain felt much more like I thought they would first hearing about them.

      Cons:

      Some outside areas seemed too dark. I know it's supposed to be unlit and pitch black, but even if there's no moon and it's overcast, one can usually make out bare shapes at least.

      Conclusion:

      Despite the fact that some areas seemed too dark, I still love this mutation and I can put up with it for the areas that look perfect. This is easily the best mod I've installed, no question.

      Pros:

       - It actually adds darkness rather than setting on a filter to make the campaigns darker. 

 - You actually need your flashlight most of the time now!

      Cons:

       - It does conflict with menu addons (ex: Urik's Game Menu) like the author says: "disable any addons that adds menu items."

 - The FPS model is unaffected by mutation/mod; in a place where there was originally lots of light if you turn off your flashlight your hands are still lit up as if you're standing in the sun (FPS model only.)

      Conclusion:

      This mutation adds darkness without having to downloading a "Dark" campaign map for every campaign you want to play in the 'dark.' It does exactly what it says it does and it's a simple and really cool mutation. You could go for the non-instant kill witches but that's just a personal preference. I suppose you really can't do anything about the FPS models and their lighting though, so no points taken off.

      Pros:

      + Great idea

+ This should be one of Valve's Mutation you should send it to them

+ New spin on Realism I've never experienced before.
 + Forces teams to stay close to survive.
 + Gives Special Infected more advantages to kill you.
 + Very realistic.
 + Darkness makes you constantly look over your shoulder at every Infected sound.
 + Witches are harder to spot, so you must be careful.
 + Throwables and melee weapons have no more "crosshairs".

      Cons:

      None that i saw :D

      Conclusion:

      This is a great Mutation you should send it to them

      Pros:

      - Weapon crosshairs still remain, by reading the description I came to believe all crosshairs would be removed, and not just throwables and melee weapons.
- Lights remain shining brightly, but casting very little light, not any huge problem though.

      Conclusion:

      Great mod if you want to try something very realistic. It's fun with both people and bots / AI's.

      Pros:

      -Gives more "dark" and "scary"  feeling
-Excellent Idea
-Feels just like L4D1

      Cons:

      -The daytime campaigns are messed up xD (Not too big of a problem)

      Conclusion:

      This should be an actual permanent Mutation Valve should add.

- Extremely fun with friends
- Fresh look on old campaigns

      Conclusion:

      I enjoy how much teamwork is required for this. Dark Carnival looks spectacular in the dark. Very well done.
