L4D2: River Update (DLC)

RIVER UPDATE
This update is intended to address various issues in the game that were overlooked by the Last Stand team.

There's only one base included here. To utilize it, you must access the VPK and copy the link into the mod.

New mutation:
Switch the campaign to "REALISTIC" to activate this mutation. It adds a time limit to the rescue arrival. If you join late, survival becomes challenging. (Maps - Time Limit)

New voice lines:
This update includes cut lines from the beta and fixes others. It also enhances the AI and the director's functionality.

New hidden achievements:
There are 50 new hidden achievements waiting to be unlocked.

New specific soundtrack:
New soundtracks have been added for Crash Course, Death Toll, The Sacrifice, and Cold Stream.

New cut NPCs
Now the cut NPCs have been reintroduced.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1 - Open GCFScape.
2 - Navigate to the file named "update_link.txt" and "update_patch_link.txt" and open them.
3 - Download the mentioned files and use WinRAR to extract them.
4 - Then, copy all the content from the downloaded files.
5 - Paste them into the following location: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2."
6 - Make sure that the "gameinfo.txt" file is also present in that location, as it is necessary for the mod to work correctly.

Note:
Be cautious, as some mods may trigger the well-known 'frozen loading screen' bug; to prevent this issue, simply deactivate them.
