      Review

Fairly standard L4D1 campaign, has some cool unique bits, but overall it's that traditional L4D experience from beginning to end. Map design is fine, and nothing particularly interesting about the environments. Finale is really easy, but the finale technically never ends as the credits don't show up. Also funny thing that happens if you're near the tracks; the bots will run in front of the train and get themselves killed at the end lol.

      Short but playable campaign

It's a short but playable campaign. Bot navigation has few bugs at certain areas, but in overalls it's good. Supplies are kind of enough. Hints & directions are provided but some areas lack hints. There are some empty room with less objects to populate. There are some bugs in finale, but I'll explain later.
      .
Map 1 is a short one. It starts in the ruined mall. There's a mission here that players who play this for the first time might have no idea about it & keep wandering for few minutes. Even I also got stuck for few minutes when playing this for the first time, at least until I looked around. Yeah, the clue is "look around", especially on the 2nd floor. Once the mission is figured out, players only need to follow the paths.
      .
Map 2 is an exploration on road. The paths on the road are still clear enough. There are some explorable rooms with supplies. After entering a building, there's a holdout event in the theater. Bot navigation is bugged a little here, especially when they're trying to climb a ladder instead of using the stairs. In my play, some bots including Zoey kept falling from the ladder several times before finally coming to me. Although the holdout event takes rather longer than usual, supplies are enough provided here so no need to worry about running out of ammo. After leaving the theater, there's a hallway maze. It's not a complicated maze, as players only need to enter room by room to look for the path to the outside.
      .
In Map 3, survivors go through the garage to the trainyard to take the holdout finale. This part is confusing a little, especially the location of the small radio. Although there's a glow, the radio is small & without a sound so it can be missed. Probably adding some sounds like military calling for survivors would be useful to help locate the location of the voice. The finale has many explorable areas to camp. Even the garage is still accessible, though it's risky enough as there are some cars that tank can use as his toys. Then, the bugs in finale happen when the rescue train arrives. There are 2 bugs:
      1. Bots can't get on the trains. Some bots have hard time in getting on the train. In my play, only one bot got on the train, while the last two bots kept dancing on the rails until I warped them.
      2. Bug on the rescue cutscene. After all survivors enter the train, the train departs but the credit screen never shows up. The only way to end the finale is by exiting the game.
      .
Aside from those two bugs in the finale, this campaign is good to play if you want to enjoy playing a small campaign as a warming up before playing some campaigns with harder difficulty. I look forward to other ported good L4D1 campaigns.

End of results.
