Oh... my... nightmare........
What is this? The first map crashed the Steam version of L4D2 every single time I tried it, in different configurations and removing all other mods. And all maps look like an accident, interesting and horrible at the same time. Many senseless changes. Mazes that you get lost into. I must admit I tried to play all maps because of the little good things here and there, like some arcade machines and beautiful places. After finishing the campaign I had the weird feeling that I just woke up from a nightmare.

Now don't get me wrong, I do like the concept of the backrooms, however this campaign ain't it. I would expect the confusing labyrinths alright, although such design just doesn't work in L4D2. If you are of the crowd that for some reason enjoys puzzle-solving and labyrinths in L4D2 ( a fast-paced arcade-style zombie shooter mind you) then... I guess this is your campaign. Oh, don't play this with bots, it's a miserable experience, navmesh is barely functional at times, probably due to the campaigns reliance on teleporting the player around. The campaign is extremely trail and error based, and quite difficult to solve the puzzles, prepare to die A LOT. To be a little bit positive though I think the environments are pretty cool, sure they can be repetitive, but they are... visually distinct or appealing, in my opinion.
