NOTE: I do not recommend playing this campaign on a 'Best Available Dedicated' server as some can be heavily modded and greatly interfere with gameplay. Get to the runway of Metro Airport for an airlift rescue. - Left 4 Dead objective The fourth campaign of the 'L4D Modified' set. This is the old fashioned Dead Air from Left 4 Dead, with the original non-versus map layouts, new upgrade/item/melee spawns, small fixes and miscellaneous changes. Key features: NEW: • L4D1 Common Infected sounds (will be added to my other campaigns soon) • L4D1 Horde howl when activating panic events (will be added to my other campaigns soon) • L4D1 Special Infected sounds, with some unused tracks added (will be added to my other campaigns soon) • Custom checkpoint 'music', something I’m experimenting with, not sure if it will remain • Tank music now randomly chooses between the regular and metal version • Edit to the garage on '3: The Construction Site', now you can access the roof • Added background decoration of the previous and next levels • Car alarms now use their own script, they are more dangerous. They can be activated from any distance and increase the common limit to 75 during the horde. Try to avoid them! • Removed the cooldown for performing shoves, the penalty did not exist in L4D1 • Added directional lighting to ‘5: Runway Finale’. The L4D1 or L4D2 versions do not have it. (If you wondered why that map looked dark or dull that is the cause) • Original map layouts (buildings and paths) • More logical control tower, now you can see it from every map. And I removed the nasty 2D card used on '3: The Construction Site' • Plane crash on the finale is now triggered randomly • Buffed Miniguns - they are now more accurate and deal a lot of damage, especially to Tanks! They are also somewhat more powerful in L4D1 • The Last Stand update L4D population • New L4D1 themed hint system for panic events and rescue activation • Some original L4D1 models (with HD textures) • Improved lighting • Enabled wind on all exterior cables such as phone poles (they're originally static) • Timed hordes will always spawn ahead rather than behind • More tweaks and tid-bits I can't remember If you find any problems or bugs please don't hesitate to let me know in the comments.
