Meh. To be honest, I'm not sure why the elevator ending is even a thing. It makes the map trivially easy and can be beaten in less than 10 minutes. The gauntlet route was more interesting, but I don't know how you're supposed to open the door behind the vent, I tried for a while but couldn't figure it out, so I used noclip. My suggestion to the author is to remove the elevator ending or maybe turn it into a holdout finale (i.e. flesh it out a bit more.) I have no idea why the author tagged this as expert difficulty, even the gauntlet ending is far too easy for that tag. I have a feeling you're not supposed to be able to kill the beholder from the opposite side of the fence but I have no idea since I couldn't figure out how to access that room legitimately anyways.
Not worth playing in its current state. If it gets a bit more fleshed out/polished I'll raise my rating.
