Make a map the proper way or don't make anything at all and thank you

First of all, yes you spent some effort on this campaign but not enough at all. Couldn't mark those generators or computers we are supposed to activate just like the music you added from multiple games? Why doesn't it even appear that you just activated it by stopping those ****** sparks? NO directions? Ok at least tell how many generators to be activated. What happened after finishing level1? we move to level2 in the same room but different place? Teleported? Ok Same **** thing in map 2 and even more confusing by going around in squares and moving down through 2 different ways that need you to be so cautious and keep a trace of yourself or you will need to restart the whole way down again to mark your way by anything. And even after activating all, you can't know if you did it or not and you end up in the same area where you started level 2 to enter another safe room? XD WTF i didn't even notice it i swear i found it by accident. NO piece of instructions or some lights or marks to help us along the whole campaign?? This is lame. Level 3 got no ending? So why did you make it if you are not gonna set an end for it?? just saw it by coincidence that you know it got no ending because something is broken in some texts and sh*t so we are supposed to know about it by you leaving it by accident in a comment? People try a campaign to reach an ending. so after wasting time on level 1&2 we go through 2 mazes on level 3 and low poor graphic thing that makes no sense at all to end up in something that looks like a bloom and no more way to advance? Zombies spawned right behind my ass? So nowhere to go? We try your campaign and listen to those music pieces you are obsessed with to get to a dead end? Seriously?

Avoid it-- not even for custom campaign completionists.

Unfortunately there is not much good to say about this map. Zero sense of direction as the last reviewer stated, no rescue in sight (map never ends...Seeing a trend here with this author) and the mapping style used here is extremely inefficient, buggy and the complete OPPOSITE of optimized. Entire map is full of 'holes' so the mapper seems to have just enclosed the entire map in a box which is a very poor practice. Even if you're a custom content completionist I'd skip this series altogether, frankly. The only upside was the nifty textures but they are not utilized well enough here and often repeat to the point of becoming redundant again anyhow.

DO NOT ATTEMPT: THERE IS NO RESCUE. FINALE IS BROKEN, CANNOT FINISH

Despite the lack of direction, no rescue closets and the many other problems and tedious maps I decided to give this campaign a shot. With no direction on how to actually proceed (press e on the sparking machines) this took LOTS of time. Eventually, my team made our way through the maps to the finale. Doing every thing we had to, eventually we arrived in the inner sanctum, which is what I believe it is called, but you cannot advance from here. There is nothing to do here and no way you can proceed. It seems as if the dev has just abandoned this campaign and did not think to put a note in the description about this. Very poor effort.

      Good, BUT

This map looks and sounds incredible, but there are many things that could be improved upon, such as telling the player(s) what they need to do in each level, and making the things that they need to do easy to spot at least when they are in the same room, such as in other maps where intractable items have a bluish glow around them. My friend and I spent hours on the first chapter, and explored the entire thing, and couldn't find anything we were supposed to do.

      Pros:

      Amazing graphics
      Phenomenal scenery
      Awesome music and sound effects

      Cons:

No direction makes this map impossible. Couldn't finish any of the chapters
      Finale puzzles are unduly hard
      Very confusing layout
      Couldn't reduce music volume
No supplies anywhere but right outside safe rooms

      Conclusion:

This map looks amazing but is unplayable.

      • @daywalkerdave1963 please tell me you fixed it because i am 99% deleting it after i leave my review here. i think you are the creator of one or more of L4D custom maps that i really enjoyed or i may be mistaken lol
      • I'm going to fix this map up. I've fixed 2 out of the 3 survivals he has out here. Second one will be up this evening. Major rework of navs, ladders, etc. I had the escape route to work with in the dev mode and still couldn't figure his stuff out. I'm going to make some glow stuff and spread some supply love. Miss hollering at you. PLUR.

End of results.
