This guide will show you how to install fonts for Left 4 Dead 2. First download font mod for example this one: www.gamemaps.com/details/13266 After you download it extract files and place .vpk file in your addon directory: Steam\SteamApps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons Then install included font file by double click on .ttf file or put it in: C:\Windows\Fonts To make sure it work properly in game place included .cfg(backup old if necessary) file in: Steam\SteamApps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\cfg This file contain screen resolution so If you have different resolution than 1633x768 you need to edit .cfg file with Notepad or any similar program. Inside file there is:
mat_setvideomode 1633 768 1
mat_setvideomode 1633 768 0
Change 1633 768 with your screen resolution and save. Last thing is to test it in game.
