I always preferred the golden Desert Eagles. So why not make my own version? Retexture by me using the original textures as base. It's all about $W4G. It will be shiny only at high/mid shader settings.

Update:
So v1.1 is here i've tweaked a the diffuse texture and get some ideas from K1CHWA's gold mods (type of the phong exponent texture/some vmt parameter base nothing else) but the most of the textures and vmt parameters are made/set by me. Yeah i know it's not extremely realistic, but much better than the first version. And looks better at night.
