This sound mod replaces the most weapon sounds with those from Max Payne 2.
A big thanks to Doktor haus for helping me fixing the MP5 gunfire sound. Without him, this mod probably would've never been published.

Note that the weapon scripts shown in the preview videos are NOT part of this mod. They were made especially for this sound mod and their aim is to give the game and weapons a more intense Max Payne 2 feeling. If you want to have them, leave a message down below.

Max Payne 2 Weapon Sound Mod

There is plenty to like about this mod- you will definitely notice different sounds consistently.  The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the magnum pistol just isn't loud enough in my opinion.  This is NOT the fault of the "authors" though, as Rockstar Games made the sounds for that weapon.  This mod is still worth a try, especially if you don't even use the handguns..
