TL;DR This talker adds a TON of generic lines that I just thought of and added as I went along (doesn't touch campaign lines) and combines elements I liked from bazreal's talker, and also elements I liked from the L4D Beta talker. The attached video doesn't do it justice, I recommend trying it for yourself if you're interested (local and dedicated servers only duh) ------------------------- Now for the long part. I spent a good 4 or 5 days working on this talker, I got inspired one day as I was reminded of when I used to use the popular L4Dε Modified Talker. Then TLS update came out, and I was already having trouble with the L4Dε talker so I ditched it and enjoyed TLS talker for a while. I did miss some elements and specific lines and also because i'm super into the beta I thought why not have a crack at making my own talker! And here is the product of that, probably the longest time I've spent on a project (lol) so I hope ye will give it a try and tell me what you think. I haven't had the time to use it much, so I might've missed some potential bugs, although nobody should find them, as I squashed the few big ones I found from the bit of testing I did, do report any if you find them :) And yes, I know there are not many proper screenshots, more will go up over time the more time I get to play perhaps. I am open to suggestions, although I may not carry through with all of them.
05/05/23 ======== As an experiment, I've decided to remove a lot of the "odds" triggers for the rarer voice lines to have a bit more diversity in conversation. I may revert this in the future if it gets annoying, but let me know what you think.
