Description
Similar to "Item Conversion", this mod also converts items in the beginning of each chapter/ round, but the converted items are randomized instead. It's useful if you want to randomize the item spawns & also convert some junk objects to some random weapons/ usable items.
There are 3 files that you can find on this mod:
1. "- (important info, read first) how to register items on cfg files.txt":
This one contains info & some guides about how to register items in the cfg file.
2. "item randomizer.txt":
This is a cfg file to register items that you want to randomized on each map.
3. "randomizer settings.txt":
This one contains additional settings. For now there are only 2 features:
1. "Item Count":
This one controls how many times the items can be picked
until they disappear. Min value= 1. Setting it to 0 has the same
effect of 1. Max value= unlimited, but don't set it too high as it
might affect the number of entities.
2. "Randomizer Mode":
This one controls the ratio of randomized items, like which items
will spawn more frequently during randomization. There are
7 modes on this feature on each value. Value no. 0 & 1= Default,
"Balanced Mode". 2= "Healing-Oriented Mode". 3= "Throwable-
Oriented" mode, etc.
Bonus Features:
1. Chat Command to detect item model: Type "check entity model" in chat when looking at an object to get notification of the model name in chat notification.
2. Special Shoving Mechanism to detect item model: Press "TAB + CTRL + SHOVE" & shove an object to detect the model name of the object.

With this mod, you can modify item spawns as you like. Even if you want some challenges like without ammo piles or randomized T2 guns, you can make it true. Have fun.

Simple Mechanisms & Guides about How This Mod Works: 1. In "item randomizer.txt" cfg file, you'll find default contents like this:pistol = 1
w_shotgun.mdl = 1
pumpshotgun_A = 1
chainsaw = 1
cone001 = 1
The names there represent the item model names, while the numbers represent activators (0= no randomization. 1= randomization enabled). If you ask about what "cone001" is doing there, it's an item model for traffic cone on "Dead Center" campaign. Yes, you can randomize any objects, including junk/ useless objects like that one. 2. "Item Randomizer" will be triggered in the beginning of each chapter/ round. 3. Alternative way to trigger "Item Randomizer" during play: Press "TAB + RELOAD" when reloading a gun. The item randomization will happen in 1 second after reloading using "TAB + RELOAD"
