Cries Of The Freakers (Infected Sounds)

A Days Gone Freakers sounds for Left 4 Dead 2 Common Infected

This mod replaces the common infected sound effects in Left 4 Dead 2 with the raw, terrifying audio of the Freakers from Days Gone. From their chilling growls to their frenzied screams, this mod transforms the infected into something far more feral and intense.

*FEATURES*

- Replaces mostly all common infected sounds: action, alert, gore, and idle 

- Imported and mixed from Days Gone Freaker audio




IF YOU EXPERIENCE SOUND ISSUES LIKE EARRAPE/SCREECHING SOUND DO THIS MANUAL INSTALLATION

1. Head on to the addon folder and create a folder named Rab1d's_VO (or whatever you like)

2. Have GCFScape  installed and open my mod in the addon folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons\workshop

3. Copy/Extract the sound folder to the Rab1d's_VO folder or whatever you have named

4. Open gameinfo.txt in  left4dead2\gameinfo.txt

5. Just below the text SearchPaths   and the curly bracket

    Copy and paste this: Game                left4dead2\addons\<Name of the folder you created>
   
     For me it should be:  Game                left4dead2\addons\Rab1d_VO's

 This is how it should looks: 

SearchPaths
		{
			Game                            left4dead2\addons\Rab1d_VO's 
			Game				update
			Game				left4dead2_dlc3
			Game				left4dead2_dlc2
			Game				left4dead2_dlc1
			Game				|gameinfo_path|.
			Game				hl2

6. Launch game and open console and type: snd_buildsoundcachefordirectory ..\left4dead2\addons\<Name of the folder you created> 

7. Once its done type: Exit

8. Lanch game again and Uncheck the mod from the addon list

9. Done
