what's funny is that's your actual thought on the original campaign! all Huck did was try to fix broken models and textures... ha ha.

A stolen mockery
Hordes everywhere, an affront to the original author's work.

Pros:
Wide, open spaces Huge finale area with nice amount of healing items scattered here and there Long (can't say how long I played it, though, I'll explain later why) Good amount of weapons and health items considering openness of maps - if you'll search good, you shouldn't fail (I played it with Improved Bots on Advanced and didn't have almost none trouble) Snipers will love this campaign
Cons:
Bots are not taking almost anything Invisible walls Glitched Crescendo Event with gate - for no reason horde attacked me BEFORE I actually pushed the button (Francis was yelling about kickstarting generator, which also wasn't fitting at all), also somehow Louis got launched couple of feet away behind gate and got killed by Hunter Zombies respawning at your face - both when situation is calm and when horde is attacking In last saferoom I got katana in weapons cache... horizontally, also somewhere M60 was clipping through cache AND through wall
Conclusion:
Thanks to my internet provider and idiotic behavior of Steam game disconnected me with "No Steam logon" communicate at the end of 1st wave in finale despite playing in Single Player... Nonetheless, it's my top 1 - definitely it doesn't worth 10/10, but from campaigns I've recently played, this one was the best for me, so I think pulling rate a little isn't anything bad.

Pros:
Interesting at beginning and end, mix of streets and rooms to search. Supplies were there, but hard to find sometimes. Didn't encounter significant bugs or issues. Playable, at times fun.
Cons:
Too long. Texture / streets became reused and dull - except for beginning and end. No melee or LFD2 weapons encountered until about mid-way through. Did not find a magnum till the end. Some invisible walls uses as barriers. At times directions confusing.
Conclusion:
Not sure what to make of this one - playable, didn't find many bugs, but the maps were just too long. Maps 2-4 I think became a continuum of street-sewers and reused billboards or other textures. Not bad work, things I like about this campaign - it wasn't too hard, just a bit too long and dull in parts.

Pros:
-a lot of fun -nice idea and well done mapdesign (beside map one) -original surivors (I love Zoey but can't stand Rochelle)
Cons:
-confusing ways, more hints/arrows would have been nice -very long ways -you often don't see the end of the map until you run against an invisible "wall" -way to little health kits/ammo/weapons or they were on too hidden places -we found no single melee on the first two maps -one really bad bug: in one room you can't find the way at once and we thought we had to go through holes in the wall that were half covered with mattresses - unfortunately that was NOT the way but a blind ending spot and coming back onto the map was impossible, escaping was only possible on hardcore and by shooting and burning ourselves -zombies spawned out of nowhere when entering a room you "cleaned" before from zombies
Conclusion:
Although there are a lot of cons I really like this campaign - had a lot of fun while playing!

Pros:
- Map 3 is surprisingly excellent - Car drive-by in map too is merciless at first, but an original touch that add some intractability.
Cons:
- Confusion pathways - Horrible indoor design, large barren rooms -Maps are way too long and repetitive (i.e. boring) - Many missing object (such a half a van) and some wall textures that only show up pitch black. -Bots will not pick up health packs /ammo/ weapons in the majority of places. - Lack of melee weapons in early maps - Blocked streets are designed to look like normal open street until you reach a spot were you're blocked by an invisible wall. - Zombies spawn and sometimes RE-spawn right in your face, both indoors and outdoors.
Conclusion:
Highly mediocre L4D1 campaign that suffers a few extra bugs in its unnecessary transition to L4D2. I would give this a 2.0 were it not for the superior third map which at least gave me some bangs for my bandwith-bucks.
