Description

Rising Sun is a package of mods to bring Left4Dead to Japan.
In particular, for the Custom Campaign: Yama.
It consists of 3 main aspects: The Survivors, the Music and Special Infected.



\ THE SURVIVORS /
Welcome the obscured survivors from the Arcade Machines version of Left 4 Dead 2, packed with the original Dub. They have received a face lifting of sorts, all the textures were overhauled to bring their quality up to standards, without changing the original design.

\ THE INFECTED /
All of the special infected have received unique and distinctive skins, for each map of the campaign. Method by Ellie, so god bless. Their clothes design were inspired by Japanese Culture, ranging from Urban Fashion, Country-Side and last but not least, Traditional. While their skin tones will vary depending on the infection stages, the further the survivors travel away from Tokyo, the furthest the infection has spread.

\ THE MUSIC /
All of the core music was changed to match the setting, while trying not to to steer away from the original concept design of Left4Dead. Inspired by Traditional music, i have made use of classic Japanese instruments. Some examples would be: Flute for mob glimpses, string instruments for ambience and War Drums for Zombat.

Inside the files you will find the credits of third-party mods i have made uses of.
