PD2 Pronghorn (for Scout or AWP)

Steyr Scout from Payday 2

Austrian sniper rifle designed after Jeff Cooper's concept of a "scout rifle" with many unique features such as integral bipod, mags with two catches with one effectively disabling magazine feeding and requiring manual chamber loading, an additional magazine in the stock, folding backup iron sights, an unusual sling configuration, and most notably, the low-profile scope mounted far from the shooter's eye. Some features of the concept did not make it into the final product, such as the ability to reload using stripper clips (and with the scope being out of the way it would've worked just fine). It also allows the operator to mount a scope in a more traditional setup and has an optional adapter for extended magazines.

Replaces the Scout or the "AWP" (model and reloading sounds)

Payday 2 lacks the iconic Scout scope model, using a Shortdot by default, and mounted forward it looks bad. Having it mounted in an intermediate position looks better, but I also made iron sighted versions for variety reasons. The AWP version with iron sights is in the Workshop; here are two Scout versions (scoped or not) and a scoped AWP version. Scope has a flashlight attached to it, but the scopeless version has none.
