Ever wanted the Original Common Infected in L4D2... without Glitches!!! Well that has been a constant problem, with endless square shadow errors, or incorrect texture mappings. Well no more, I have fixed these horrible errors.
Now you can Enjoy the true L4D1 experience in L4D2!! There are Nurses and Surgeons in the hospitals once more, Business Men in suits at your favorite office buildings, and Maintenance Workers roaming the dank corridors. Don't forget the Police Officers or Military Men either, that's right, they are all back!!!

Some Custom Maps have their own Populations.txt which may interfere with this Mod, Don't worry, this should pose no problems.

Pros:

- L4D1 zombies in L4D2!! ~ 4.0
- Correct sizing proportions to L4D2 zombies ~ 1.0
- Zombies distributed well in locations ~ 3.0
- Shading Boxes GONE!! (Except Dead Center for me) ~ 1.5

Cons:

- Only works on locally-hosted servers :( ~ -0.5
- Gore effects can't be used (I don't really mind)

Conclusion:

Excellent overall. This mod provides a L4D1 atmosphere within the L4D2 environment. The zombies in L4D1 have always looked much scarier and realistic in my opinion. The removing of the shading boxes adds to the intense realism of the game. The fact that the population.txt adds to which the zombies spawn where makes it difficult to find a way to use this mod online.
