a really, really good campaign
First of all, I never played ANY Resident Evil ever, so this is the 2nd resident evil's inspired campaign (the first one is the hive but it's more to shoot and run type of campaign, and not a puzzle-driven one) I've ever played. Honestly, this is one of those maps where it's so long, the puzzle can be frustrating at times (especially chapter 1), but it is so fun that you want to play again and again. The first chapter is mostly puzzle driven where you need to open a bunch of doors, and I love how the first few chapters is just going back and forth to the same place for new key items (like the helm key and the battery one) while also exploring a new part of the mansion. I did get lost there more times than I'd like to admit, but it's all good. The guardhouse and the underground might be the weakest chapter for me, as there is not really puzzles or moments that are so exciting, although the 2 tank battles after you kill the plant in 2nd chapter is surprising and caught me off guard. Otherwise, a decent chapter. Now, I LOVE the 4th chapter. The painting puzzle is so well-done, love how you have to use the lightning to figure out the code, and how you have to type the code in chat to unlock doors. Such a great mechanic. And yes, the first playthrough, and I got all the MO disc one and rescued bill. The finale is also really fun by the way, so props to you for that. In conclusion, do I recommend this? Absolutely. even if you have never played any RE games before (like me), you WILL still enjoy this campaign. The puzzle section is challenging and fun, the map design is amazing, the atmosphere is there, and the overall campaign felt like a roller-coaster ride where once you finish it, you are thrilled and wanted to go for another ride. I surely will (gonna try to get the normal ending as well). And yes, very playable with bots. Bots have zero issues with navigation whatsoever. Easily 10/10. Keep up the good work man! P.S: Yeah, ik i put some spoilers there. Oops, my bad ;p

My personal favorite
I still enjoy the HL2 version of this campaign because I perform better in HL2. Anyways, the entire map is great, so as the puzzles, and death traps. I feel sorry for the bots tho, they usually get flatten by a boulder. Where's Chris Redfield when you need him? My most favorite map is the dormitory where I usually troll the bots in that map. The only cons I can tell is that special infected spawns in areas they're not supposed to be such as locked doors that can't be opened without a key, a random area where they just die by spawning there. I'd say medkit won't be needed once you obtain the yellow herb.

Many complicated puzzles but fun
It took me 4 days to finish this campaign. The 1st day, I got stuck on map 1 because of some puzzles were hidden without instructions. 2nd day, I got stuck on map 2 because one key was without glow/ highlight & I thought of the key as just a common object. 3rd day, I got stuck on map 5, lab, because I tried to decipher the code without the switch (I didn't think that turning on the switch could change something. I could only read "birth" & "kiss" (I deciphered the "kiss" without the switch, just by looking at the interraction on the picture). The 4th days, I started from map 1 & finished the campaign with all three MO Disc & Bill on my side in 1 h 28 mins. . Though some codes were hard to understand for the first time, I enjoyed deciphiring the codes, especially the pattern code to unlock the v-jolt room. It took me more than 1 hour to figure out the pattern of each number. Then, the hidden quests to collect the MO Disks are also interesting. I got all in one go on 4th day when I searched thoroughly in every map. & the most challenging one is...the giant spider. Because I used Spider Venom's skin, the spider looked really fun & dangerous :D . Never shoot it, ok... Better safe than sorry :D . Btw, some tank traps on some maps are kind of dangerous. Player can get one-hit-incap in expert mode if not prepared when interracting with certain objects because the tank will come so close that one mistake can be deadly, like when running backward but suddenly hit a wall. But, there are few seconds (about 2-3 seconds) before the scenes appear, so, those few seconds can be used for the trick :) . . So, in overalls, although some of the maps are revisited areas, this campaign is lots of fun. The bot navigation is fine & no texture errors. The supplies are also enough & most maps are explorable. I had no regret in having several tries in few days until I finally finished the campaign. So far among other resident evil campaigns I've played (Side A, Side B, & Nemesis), this one gets 2nd rank as favourite Resident Evil Campaign. The most favourite is the Nemesis. I'll keep this in my addons folder to play with friends later :) . Nice campaign.

I really liked this RESIDENT EVIL stuff
As I commented on the RE2 Tape A, the RE mod is also recommended! The gameplay is pretty solid, the graphics work like charm and they replicate pretty well the amazing Resident Evil 1 and the puzzles are not frustrating (as in other mods). I actually finished this one with my friends and it surely has no problems that could make someone rage-quit! Give it a try and especially if you're a RE series fan!

This map is fantastic, but I would give a hint at the beginning of the campaign, at the door of the Hall of the mansion you put the slender (?) Could exchange for a photo of the dog (cerberus) I think it would look better and inside the universe. Slender I'm without link ... but this mod was the best I've ever played, congratulations ... could change for this photo, look. could be some printscream of that scene https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IvL764Lwxfc

Fantastic puzzle/adventure map
Although I am not too familiar with the Resident Evil franchise, I still managed to get a fantastic experience from this map. From all the little details, such as music changing every time you enter a new area of the map, to the fun little achivement system just made it all the better. Not to mention how geniously you implemented the puzzles. It just works! (Spoilerz) I love the fact that Bill is a part of the story, and joins up with you if you manage to save him. I have never seen anything like this in any of the maps I have played. (and I have played a lot of maps) Only minor con that I have with the map is that zombies sometimes block the doors and makes it troublesome to open them. But this didn't happen very often, and didn't seem to affect my playthrough too much Overall this was a fantastic well crafted map, and it earns the spot as one of my top favourite custom maps! Hammer time!
I had much fun playing this campaign with a friend. We weren't too familiar with the first resident evil but managed to finish it (did not expect to see puzzle using Tolkien alphabet). Using pictures with symbols for doors closed by specifics keys is a neat idea. Achievements and new weapons are great. Hammer is awesome.

A nice throwback to the original Resident Evil on PSX
PROS: -Has that ominous music from the original game -Great Atmosphere -Puzzles were quite fun and enjoyable -Very Resident Evil newcomer-friendly -Provides its own assortment of weapons such as the Sledgehammer -Contains traps that aren't too sudden and give you time to escape -Provides challenge by not spamming hundreds of infected, but instead reduce the number of medkits and ammo to capture that survival-horror experience -Bill! -Easter Eggs galore -Giant Spider that spawns a bunch of tanks at you if you shoot it -Jill Sandwich and other achievements CONS: - This is pretty minor, but I have noticed that if you take one way (I can't remember correctly which way it was, but I believe it was the second floor) from the east side of the mansion to the main hall, the bots will take a longer way to reach you even though they could just take the way I went. Overall: A campaign based of the original game done right! Suggestion: -Have the survivors speak more throughout the campaign

Another player told me the same but I cant find the error, I'm sure is the nav mesh ... Can you give me a screenshot of the place where bots change their way? Btw, I hope you enjoy the update for RE3 campaign :P it will be ready on December

Interesting campaign
I can give this 5 out of 5 Stars as it is close as possible to the first game which i played many years ago, recommended to all fans of the re series and who likes puzzles in L4d2, played it on advanced with 3 friends was good balanced, the spider was cool, lots of fun on the campaign. :)
