      Aimed High, Fell Far

      PROS
No Mercy environment feels exactly like I'm running around another part of that campaign.
      Boss placement
Interesting concept- starting with Tier 2 weapons but not placing enough for everyone.
      Long maps
Lots of changes from sprawling warehouse/parking lot environments to cramped, dark buildings.

      CONS
Lack of direction- worst in Map 1 sewers (where arrows point in wrong direction) and Map 4 hospital.
Bots fight you the whole campaign, not wanting to pick up guns, ammo, health, pills, so they're constantly undersupplied and basically on pistols the whole time.
Map 3 sewer event trigger doesn't light up until you shoot the box.
Map 4 event is terrible- nothing tells you to shoot the boxes and throw a pipe down there and I only discovered that out of frustrated desperation.
Finale is broken- there's no indicator where to start the rescue, and I gave up after searching every room. If there is a finale trigger, then I'd take off just as many stars for not having lit up.
Not a single on- screen cue.

      CONCLUSION
This definitely tries to be a harder, longer take on No Mercy, and it nearly gets it right. However, with abysmal direction and bots playing about as good as your grandmother would, this needs a lot of polishing. The original author must have never played this game before, otherwise they would've known that typically you can make things glow blue and give players instructions. But, with a little work, this could be a very fun homage to No Mercy.

      5.1

      Pros:

-Good old school L4D 1 style (the one and unique)

      Cons:

-Too long chapters (can be splitted in two)
      -Lack of medkits
      -Lack of weapons and ammo
      -hordes, specials, hordes, specials ...

-Way too hard due to these four points.

      Conclusion:

The left 4 dead 1 feeling i search (so rare these times) but ruined by lack of a lot of things.
Split levels, add more items, reduce a little hordes and specials and it'll be perfect...
I gave up playing at map 4, stuck with 2 wooden crates...

      8.3

      Pros:

      Fun to play
Hard in spots (endless hordes) even on normal
      Interesting in some cases
Long (very long as it took us 2 nights of 3 hours total play to finish)
Some interesting places to visit and explore
      Good design
      Good effort
Fireworks everywhere to use to distract the hordes

      Cons:

Directions could be better (but we like to explore so this isn't really a "con"), like if this was real, would you expect "arrows" pointing which way to go?
Some glitches (exploding garage that doesn't) - we were able to get it to explode by shooting a gas can in front of it (I actually liked that if that was what was intended)
      More supplies are needed
Some unintentional spawns as previously noted

      Conclusion:

I think some of the reviews are a little harsh here. This isn't bad and perhaps if it was advertised that the campaign was created intentionally to have things not happen (i.e. the garage door), that would make it more palatable to some. We'll play this some more and I may update this at a later date. I give the author a lot of credit for trying. Creating maps is difficult and if we beat the folks up, they won't do it any more. I encourage you to keep going - this is a very good start.

      Pros:

      Large maps
      Good events
Lots of zombies (Unless playing on easy because your scared)
      Good environment/areas to explore

      Cons:

Map with 3 garages a pain because it doesn't always blow up so you stand around waiting.

      Conclusion:

Good campaign, very fun to play, challenging and large maps to explore. There are always improvements that can be done but I enjoyed playing it. Keep up the good work !

      6.5

      Pros:

Large map, with lots to explore
Easy- few events, just mostly hordes
      Urban environment is nicely done
      Lots of fun to play

      Cons:

Could use more hordes in general to make up for the lack of events and tanks
A few bugs- esp some supplies are glitched
      Lack of direction
      Supplies are very low
      Lack of respawn closets
Some shipping crates are weird colors- VERY bright/bold colors

      Conclusion:

I'm giving this map a higher rating than I should because I found it a lot of fun to play. Local server started messing up so we were unable to finish it, but I'll try it again today.

Even though this map is easy, the lack of supplies can be frustrating. While chapters 1 and 2 were fun to explore and very easy, we died multiple times on chapter 3 and actually had to scale it back to normal- there were plentiful health supplies, ammo, weapons, etc in chapters 1-2 but chapter 3 had barely any, which made it rather difficult. The lack of sidearms from the beginning forth was frustrating if you died and started again at the next chapter. I want to play this on super hordes, but dying and then not being able to find a melee weapon would be pretty miserable.

Also, it was tough dying and not finding defibs or respawn closets.

The absence of instruction and open layout can be confusing. This is not necessarily a bad thing- I enjoyed being able to wander around, and the low difficulty would be fine by me in realism, but others might hate it.

There definitely need to be more zombies in this map.

Please keep working on this map, it looks amazing! Added this to my watchlist.

      5.5

      Pros:

      Long and action packed
      Nice nice street scenery

      Cons:

Very confusing navigation. In map one, arrows actually point the wrong way. The map's length compounds this problem by making it frustrating in some parts.

Interior design (including sewers) are often too large and/or too barren.

Bots refuse to take weapons or ammo.

Lack of anything unique or memorable that would make this campaign stand out.

      Conclusion:

Not terrible, but lacks polish, focus and better nav.

      4.5

      Pros:

      1) Nice atmosphere., very reminiscent not only of No Mercy but also Crash Course.
      2) Very lengthy but well detailed course.

      Cons:

      1) No health.
      2) Few weapons.
      3) The bots rarely pick up anything.
      4) The special infected get hung up. You will hear them but they won't (can't?) attack.
      5) Some missing textures on piles of pallets.
      6) Some ambient sound errors. I was walking on the streets and I was hearing the sound of floorboards creaking.

      Conclusion:

      " five grueling maps "
      Your not kidding!
If you are trying to give a "feel" of realism; trying to find your way through back allies, running low on ammo and everything else desperately trying to stay alive as your team mates drop one by one.. then the author has done a good job.
      If not it's just frustrating.
Question: why wont the bots pick up weapons and health kits even if they are standing right on top of it?

      TL;DR?
Give this one a pass. There are better maps out there.
