Description

This mod contains the "Global Radar Collection" for L4D2. The mod allows you to "detect" (with a new alert on the HUD) items or infected that are near you. It also tells you how far away from them you are.

The provided ZIP contains separate radars for each item / infected. You need to install the CORE then choose what ones you want, but they work ONLY for the Base Game infected / items (reskins are allowed).

The radar is also compatible with every item that I released on my workshop (see "ellie_williams" as my SteamID), but you MUST NOT install the radar for the said item, just the gr_CORE.vpk. These items already have the radar in them, the core alone triggers them.

I must say that I provide this addon as it is, Steam Workshop didn't like because it thought it contained "scripts", but it doesn't. This addon is only made with textures and proxies, so it works on EVERY SERVER (You normally can't get VAC if you use this, because it's not a third party thing that you run along with the game nor a script that is forced executed).

What this addon does is that it displays an alert (up to 50 units) if you look in the general direction of an item / infected. It also displays the number of units between you and the infected / item.
For the Tank Radar, it also includes a radar that tells you if the tank is on fire or not. The thing is pretty self-explanatory when you use it.

Hope you'll like it. Please tell me if this violated Gamemaps rules, but from what I've read in the  Terms of Use, this sort of thing is allowed here =).
