Mod doesn't work for me need help

I would love to give this a good review I truly would but the mod doesn't work for me an i'm not the only one. If I could get help and this mod actually works I would gladly give this a 5 star rating.

Do you have GCFScape to extract a vpk file? If you have, try to check inside "models" folder. Look for files with ".vtx" extension. If the file names are just "xxxxxx.vtx", rename them into "xxxxxx.dx90.vtx" (only add ".dx90" in front of the ".vtx" extension. This method works on most problems with missing/ invisible models/ guns.
