Thanks a bunch for bringing such work to us. I gladly managed to finish this campaign on Expert Single Player Mode in 7 hours & 21 minutes &30 Restarts. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I did suffer playing this campaign alone with no friends to help, but only bots who got stupid at certain critical spots. It was all good in the beginning although I felt it's going to be really bad due to the fact I started first chapter with T2 weapons which means I am going to grind so much along the tough long way to safe room on each chapter. --------------------------------------------------- Chapter1: Started inside that fence area and triggered hordes, but strong weapons did all the job. It was weirdly dark in the woods area unlike Dark Wood campaign as honestly, Dark Wood night was much better painted. I know you didn't create it, but ported and took most of it from Dead City campaign that I never heard of and really wanna try:) But it wasn't that bad night painting. Finished chapter 1 with no restarts. --------------------------------------------------- Chapter2: Just like chapter 1 in terms of triggered hordes for no reason annoyed me a little bit, but I could manage. Fought both a tank and a witch and was a lone for a while, but could get all bots back from spawning rooms. Also, cleared this chapter with no restarts. ---------------------------------------------------- Chapter3: I guess it was in space like a metro station and we started it by jumping down that hole where bots were stupid enough to stand still without any help and a hunter got me. Stupid navigation issues took place along this campaign and during hard tough chapters sadly. I try to remember what happened next on that chapter, but all I remember is that there were 2 tanks one after we get up from that hole and another one towards the metro railway. I restarted only due to the stupid bot navigation. Otherwise, I can encounter up to 3 tanks and beat them all (separately of course) :P It wasn't a bad chapter and that alarm car that blocked our way was teasing, but our favorite spot by the end of tunnel helped us a lot. ------------------------------------------------------ Chapter4: it's the opened park where the crashed plane exists. it was really long and hard and I restarted it once when I hit the crying witch hidden between bushes while shooting the nasty boomer to startle her along with receiving a boomer vomit to be incapacitated by hordes and boomer waiting for witch to grab my life off. I guess one will encounter at least 2 tanks and 1 witch or 3 tanks. Cabinets were weirdly opened before I got to them as I was waiting for a closed space to get a bot out of. Once a tank is encountered, I was burning it and retreating to safe room and luckily I managed to block the tank by safe room door multiple times. ---------------------------------------------------- Chapter5: It was the best and easiest chapter in this campaign and its title got HOPE word in it and it really deserved it XD as I didn't restart it although it is a run panic event to safe room which I do hate, but it was easy fighting hordes in narrow spaces and enough supplies to have along the way. Our HP was not good, but none got incapacitated till safe room. It was the shortest I guess. ----------------------------------------------------------- Chapter6: It is the longest, the worst, the lamest and the everything bad XD. First of all, it is the first time for me to find frag rounds spread in streets on their own as I always took the box and spread it myself. This made bots cross around the fallen fence to get to the rounds every time I moved there as I got there multiple times to fight that tank hiding for us upstairs. Every time I heard hordes roars, they didn't come when I was in certain spots. Instead, they would be standing there in groups until they see us, then they attack. It is so disturbing. That trapping tank that gets to us after we start moving upstairs can be brought down in the beginning after we open the first door before more zombies come. I got 1-2 bots incapacitated due to the lame navigation between cars while tank is attacking and punching cars on its way. Another lame navigation thing while moving around that truck to open the second door, bots didn't join me well unless I move from behind the car, not in front of it. That 2nd tank that shows up upstairs after we get the bridge down is best fought from streets by getting all the way back and startle it by shooting it through the crack in the wall. It makes the way really really long as hordes will attack along with tank so the best is to take it to open space for better movement especially when I am with stupid bots and lame navigation. Why hordes kept spawning in that crazy way? Managed to get to the end of bridge to be welcomed by another tank I can't see, but the music started so I retreated and that was the worst idea as hordes kept coming and they were supposed to stop as tank showed up, but NO. They kept coming and tank was there. Lost that time and I restarted that chapter 15 times that could be less down to 11-12 times if I didn't step back and just stepped forward as safe room was waiting on the left, but it was hidden then and I knew it later when I changed difficulty to Easy because of the lame hard long chapter to see where I would find my safe room and it was a shock for me. One just needed to keep running to safe room, but how could I do it while there is a tank that could ruin everything if it was really close? On that attempt when I passed it, I ran on the bridge once its fence was opened thinking it was the same on the other side, but when I got there another fence was in progress to be opened and I had to while hordes came from the safe room way and from behind. I did it alone after Francis who was so close to safe room preferred to save a lame bot fighting tank and hordes XD ------------------------------------------------------- Chapter7 \ Finale: It was a little bit long way to final spot where we were supposed to call for rescue. That was a really tough finale for Single Player Expert experience. Restarted it for up to 13 times. Tried to find any glitches that help me start the finale without starting it, but I was helpless XD. It said bring the two barrels underground first for easier finale while there was only 1 barrel underground. ammo pile was so rare and the fixed one was in the middle of street where we could find a group of Molotov and pipe bombs. It was nicely located as a great challenge to do it between hordes coming from that abandoned mall that gave me nothing, but hordes spawning behind my back from nowhere so it was the last place one could get to. I almost lost hope and was about to make it Easy in order to pass it because I got that confirmed feeling that I couldn't do it alone as I needed at least one friend to help me get that barrel underground while I take the lame bots with me because bots kept getting stuck and only 1 bot went down with me while the others got incapacitated so it was real mess. The best time to grab those barrels is when hordes are attacking, not while tank is there,Why? Because tanks didn't come alone, but along with spawning hordes from both sides of street and special infected too. So after many tries, I decided to retreat to where I started that chapter with bots once tank spawned to set it on fire and keep retreating till It is dead. At least we know where hordes and specials were supposed to come from and to protect our a$$e$ XD. That chapter got Unique potentials like the secondary route that shows up in case of restarting multiple times which presents another route to final spot and I really wished that it would change the whole final scenario to be just a fight till rescue came or run to rescue, but it was the same in the end. To fill a tank with barrels so that it moves and shoots a block which will allow us to move on to that army car is something unique that I thank you and your friend who created that finale chapter for it. I luckily decided to fill the tank with barrels I managed to gather and they were 10 barrels. I didn't grab that one underground and another barrels on the left side of street. I fought a total of 4 tanks on that attempt and kept retreating each time a tank spawned. It was really long finale for me but I protected my lame team that way. Made the best use of Molotov to burn them all especially tank chasing us to come back quickly and resume collecting barrels while hordes are attacking. I never ever expected that I could beat that finale using only 10 barrels as it always asks you to fill the exact number of barrels shown on screen in order to open or activates something on finale. If I didn't fill that tank with those barrels I got, I would be restarting over and over up to 50-60 times ending up doing it on Easy and rating this work with 1 Star XD ... I enjoyed how hard it was. Just wanted those lame bots to be really accurate and completely following me where I went. It was super unique feeling to hear the rescue music after block was bombed to run after that tank like a kid chasing mommy to find that decent army car highlighted in blue lights as something like blue carpet was beneath it. Was super happy and killed a charger along with Jockey and small group of infected that showed up from far away coming from those streets out there. It was unique environment as one could run there and explore more, but zombies got lame navigation there. Bots got lame navigation from the block spot to that army car and one bot was down and the 3 of us managed to escape. Loved it and so glad I beat it on that hard updated way. Wondering how it looked like the old way:) Thanks a lot for fixing and presenting this work to the public.

Btw, the tank moves on Easy after it is filled by 8 barrels only.

Apologies for long comments as I always wanted to deliver how it looked like to me experiencing new works for the first time & I don't have enough to afford a decent PC with decent software to record and upload on my lame YouTube channel. So I do it in words way. I even started saving comments in notes in case they got deleted by website itself to put them later.

Interesting Map Design
Pros: The map with 4-5 Tanks is very challenging. My friends of 2 and I love it. The second last map is well designed. I love the idea that players have to first open the gate then rush to the power button of the bridge then go back to the starting point and rush though the bridge. Cons: A little bit too way too dark. In the first half of the campaign, my visible area is merely my flashlight area. But it is acceptable if you say it is the style of the map. Is it a bug? At the second last map, after we retry once, we encounter -80% of zombies we used to encountered at the first time. The map is like empty.

It was said that the game itself lowers its difficulty within the same level of Expert by lowering zombies numbers, replacing witches with tanks (vise versa), removing them from the entire chapter or putting stronger weapons.

Map is an utter mess.
I have no idea where any of these good reviews are coming from. Did they play the same map as I did? Are all their maps this poorly made? No, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said "made", I should have said plagarized. Short of it: play Dark City. That's where the person who "made" this map ripped most of the good parts of this map. Lighting was terrible and barely "ported" from Dark City. As you can see from the name of the map, the "author" didn't even bother to hide the plagarism. This thing only gets one star because it reminded me of better maps. When you start to type the review, it says "be polite", but there is nothing good to say about this map, and sugar coating it won't do anyone any favors. And yes, I got the too many indices for buffer crash message as others. Restarting the game and reloading the map fixed it. So that's one good thing, I guess. People who say "im not a fan of dark maps but i loved this map i just can't help it" like the previous reviewer, don't believe them. There are dark, atmospheric maps like Dark City, and then there are maps with lights just removed, and other textures that are glowing, silvery (broken for me and my friends). Not sure if the people who are giving this good comments are trolling or not, but I wouldn't doubt it. Pros: reminds me of better maps. Cons: everything about the map itself. TL;DR: play Dark City, not this.

Pretty Damn Good
PROS Almost overly supplied Great dark atmosphere Events are well done CONS Lots of instances in earlier maps of hordes being started without an actual trigger Tank said it needed 13 cans, but it fired after 8 Start of map 1 felt glitchy CONCLUSION It was fun. I didn't read the description until later, which explains why I was playing the finale thinking everything was familiar. Complaints are pretty minor, but the frequency with which a horde event starts without there being any button or switch for me to activate made it feel a little beta. The beginning was odd- instantly, I see [Tank Death] on screen, and then a horde starts. Not sure if we're supposed to hit the ground running with a tank attack, but the Tier 2 weapons at the start made it feel that way. Either way, the campaign was really well done.

Obviously another individual who doesn't appreciate the time it takes to fix broken campaigns so others can enjoy them. If you would have bothered to read the header Deadcity lite is a broken map. I am trying to fix it and make it a full different campaign by adding it to the end of blackcity which had a faulty ending. A win win for everyone except you apparently. Do you kiss your mother with that mouth LOL :)

Plain, and bugged.
The whole map has the black atmosphere, but overall feels pretty plain, no much crescendo and interesting events. Finale got bugged out after I died, my teammate revived me and activated the rescue after that, but still, there was no horde.

Lions tigers and bears OH my. Check out this campaign now. Even though I am the one who edited it I think the new edition to this campaign is awesome. I like ilcannibles work so I took his broken deadcity lite campaign and put it to good use. Now both campaigns have been given a super shot in the arm. The scavenge ending is tough but winnable. :) Enjoy.

My buddy sad that a couple nights ago. Got a much better finale coming. Probably going to finish it tonight. :) Thanks for trying it again. It's so odd I played it several times and it always works but I definitely believe you which is why Im fixing it. I think you will be pleased

Already done another run on it, the finale still bugged out the first time. We burnt ourselves and restarted the finale. It worked on the first wave but after the first wave of tank died, the horde never came and we stuck there, annoyed, returned to lobby. Might be posting the playthrough we had.

Great Map
I'm play with friends (just moment ago) SI trick event wall make us some annoyed but not big problem. U make some health buff to SI that make us take more time to kill SI and jetcharger (i got smash many time by him) but it's ok. Supply are enough for all people.GREAT JOB GUY i found some bug.In final if host died then horde stop coming and never come again sory i'm not good in english.
