      Playable

I'm giving it 5 stars because it's new, it works and it is kind of different looking.
      .
Played twice on my server with no issues.
      .
It is a little plain. needs more tasks to be completed to get through each area.
      .
the loading screen looked good. but there wasn't a small video after loading leading you to the survivors..
      .
The one strange robot tank / clone tank (not sure what it was) was great. it was so different it startled me when I saw it. (LOL) I thought "What in the H.E. double hockey sticks is this thing? more of those (different colored) would be cool. or have one of those de-fleshed, dancing thing behind the glass turn into a tank.
      .
L4D2 survivors are better.. LOL (just my opinion)

      • There's a plugin by DeathChaos called "forceset" you can use that to force L4D2 survivors every time if you want ;)

Crashless fair nice map to play

Cool map but i wished there was more to do with the witch portal purple place maybe an easter egg being able to go on that bridge would have sure make it more interesting. Also near all the Half-Life dead bodies you could have added some writings on the wall with blood or whatever to don't make it feel so emtpy (just a room and corpse) for example a corpse with pistol blood and message on the wall saying "Dr. Malroy has gone insane" for sure it would have added the map more personality. (Like you did in the electricity room with the pipe walk on where was dog and a tank dead laying on the floor, my first impression was thinking about the two of em had a fight and both colapsed in the end)

You could have also added some more props like pipes for ex on anything some places feel emtpy just hammer geometry with texture and a light flickering on a pretty big room with red/purple color.

Anyway good map i enjoyed it finished on advance with 2 bots no restarts.

Another scary themed campaign for collection

I tested twice & kind of enjoyed this campaign. Though the campaign is dark like Silent Hill or Resident Evil, this one is still playable & enjoyable. The plot is similar to "Hard Rain", as survivors need to get into lab & then go back outside. So far, most things are good. The bot navigation is fine. The hints & the glows on objects are also clear. Supplies are also enough, especially on areas where there's a tank challenge. The tank has reduced health so it's still beatable. Probably only map 1 has a bug. Somehow, in the beginning of map 1, one survivor always spawns at a very far location while the other 3 are in a room with supplies. Luckily on my tests twice, it wasn't me who spawned at a very far place.
      .
Well, as this is still a beta version, I look forward to the next updates. I'll update the review later when more new things come on the next updates. Probably, adding more key finding events or puzzles like the previous campaigns "Unholy Ground", "Beyond Dead", Forgotten Place" etc would be good too.

      • I don't know if you played Redemption map, but you could make this Dr. Malfoy to be able to interact/talk with you when you press E or you could make interact with you without pressing anything.

      • Interactions with some objects like machines are also good. If you want to keep this as the standard campaign, the simple mechanisms like turning on generators, operating some switches or computer to open doors, destroying blockades to open paths etc would be good.
        .
Btw I don't know if survivors can meet Dr. Malfoy or not. Is it possible? Or maybe he's a hidden boss? In my tests twice, I didn't find anything about Dr. Malfoy except some words about him.

      • This one is suppose to be more like a standard campaign so it's not going to have missions like the other campaigns. I actually started this using missions, you had to resurrect Bill in the first map and have him open the doors the computer opens now. I'll probably add more stuff to interact with after I get more feedback, stuff like buttons that turn on machines and stuff. I haven't thought about that stuff much yet though so I'm open to ideas.

Like Hard Rain, but in a Lab

      Pros:
Honestly. I love that tanks are frequent. The supplies were well managed so it felt intense but fair
      Mecha-Tank? Robo-Tank? There's a robotic tank is what I mean
Electrified Water (which I unfortunately fell into by accident lol)
      Good Map Deign Overall
      .
      Cons/Feedback (23/5/2021):
Finale is too easy. Maybe spread out the items; one house for medkits, the bus for throwables and the house for guns or something like that so that players are forced to move more
Stats show as zero and the ending song doesn't play. Sometimes a survivor or 2 will spawn very far away at the start of maps
      .
This is more of a nitpick (since you said this is in Beta and plan to improve it, but as a previous comment said; the inside's design/layout can be a tad boring/repetitive at times. I think some more testing chambers similar to the one with the electrified tanks but instead with other special infected might help. I can't remember but I do think you had more chambers but I think the lighting wasn't "dramatic" or as creative as the tank one.
      .
Summary: It's like "Hard Rain", cept in a lab. Although it's really not the vibe of campaign I usually play, it was pretty well made. Nice work.

      • Good review. I'd like to see the Laboratories expanded just a bit as well.

      Review

just played it and it was overall a fun map. havent encountered any bugs or problems with bot nav. since this is a beta id like to maybe give some ideas to improve the map :D the overall layout is very interesting and especially the third chapter gives me some good silent hill vibes. what i find a bit "boring" though is how most chapters look extremely similar for example most of the corridors have the same length, layout etc.. also most of the chapters have almost only small rooms and corridors. so maybe you could add a few bigger rooms for change. the finaly imo was too easy since you dont really have to worry about commons since most of the spawn behind the fence that you can just shoot through. it would be harder and more interesting if youd have to defend yourself from inside a big house for example. but this was already a good map so i cant wait to play the finished version someday!

      Review

A great load of fun in this campaign. Could be a bit challenging on higher difficulties! Pretty creative level design which I always love to see, flashbacks to Hard Rain as you have to backtrack at chapter 4. Great supplies distribution as well. You are forced to go explore the map a bit in order to progress at some parts, but not all the time, a nice balance. Only issue I encountered was Louis spawning at the other end of chapter 1 when I started for some reason and the stats do not work as you haven't set a flag for the end music or whatever it is (idk hammer) but no issues I could find other than that. Definitely give it a go!, this ones a keeper in my books, even if it's not the "epicest" of all time, just a great well designed campaign.
