      Amazing Campaign, Amazing Effects

This campaign is 5/5, it was amazingly well done, the effects were amazing ESP the haunted house part. This is a must-play for anyone , at least once, and its even possible on expert, just challenging a bit. I'd def check out anything else the mapper decides to create in hopes it lives up to this amazing experience

      Quite Amazed

I'll try to say what I can without spoiling anything!

      Pros:
-Some elements like signs, names, etc. continue here from Downtown Dine.
-Some levels were truly outstanding in terms of sending chills down my spine. I knew it was just L4D2 and yet I still felt uneasy in certain parts.
-The environment was very interesting and I just had to look at everything.
-The campaign didn't feel too hard and was well paced.
-I appreciated the AI Director stopping when I really wanted to just stop and look inside the house. I didn't want to worry about zombies at that moment.
-Custom music really made this campaign that much better.

      Cons:
-A bit short, I really wanted more.
-Ending a bit anti-climactic, but I suppose that's why the campaign's called "Dead End".
-Last level was seriously lagging my computer. Frame rate was probably in the 20s, and some sounds were cut out, but the game was still playable.

I can see the amount of work that went into this campaign because I was just blown away playing it. Nothing felt out of place, which is good. I think the strongest point to make about this campaign is just how it made me uneasy and reluctant to move on at times. I would really recommend playing this!

      I expected more

At first I was pumped to start this campaign but not even 5 minutes in with my brother it would crash on the first level when the police car hits tank it crashed about 4 times then finally it was fine after that, the next problem I ran into on map 1 was when you need fuel to gas up a generator, the L4D1 cast stops by on a boat and is suppose to give you the gas can when we first tried they didn't give us the gas can we spent 20 minutes running around before restarting the map then that time around they gave us the gas can, maps were a bit long but still fun and kept me interested I'd say my biggest disappointment was the finale after you finally make into the fallout bunker it just cuts and camera pans out and then says map was complete I must say it wasn't very satisfying and also noticed some optimizing that needed to be done in some areas, as for the rest of the map I must say the special effects and the textures and the lighting were on point I loved how detailed the map was and also loved the objectives in the map.

Overall a good map if the issues I had didn't happen and finale was a bit more intresting I would of gave this a 5 star but for now it will have to sit with a 3.

      Colorful, Fun, Good Environments.

This is a nice map - really well done in my opinion. The contrasting, varied colors make it an impressive landscape, plus there are varied interesting (but small) tasks to complete that showed originality. In eight plays I have only had it crash once (loading map 2). Really fun to play, not too hard, and works well in single player. There are a variety of good things to say about it, and some minor criticisms.
Pros: Three maps, not too long, nice haunted house, tasks and Earthquakes. Bots follow along and don't get stuck, for the most part, except at the end. Very different and original maps and environments - the transition didn't always make a lot of sense - but that wasn't a problem for me. Ample supplies throughout! (may also be a con)
Cons: Map 1: Bots seem to get stuck on burning car when I go to pick up ladder. First time around key was difficult to find (spawned in furthers location; seems to spawn only in 3 places). Map2: Love the haunted house, but there is not even a panic event after you hit the switch to open the secret door. Should be something daunting or difficult about the house - special effects are awesome there, otherwise. Plus, at end in the crypts the sand pit traps aren't much fun - if you manage to get stuck in them. That's it - curtains. A bit too many special weapon spawns. Map 3: Bots have at least once failed to go into safe room to end the game. Bot entry into safe room at finale needs work.
Other than that - really nice work.

Review for DownTown Dine: DEAD END

      Pros
      - Nice variety of environments
      - Good use of the earthquake to direct our path elsewhere with disasters
      - You use the flares to guide your way (as seen by the writing at the beginning of the chapter) (There can be a problem about that, see cons)
      - Good spread of supplies
      - Good use of killing a tank instantly by making it fall (that was some humor to be had)
      - Nice use of a Ghost House (In my opinion it didn't scare me, not bad with the effects themselves tho)
      - Good Custom Music
      - L4D survivors appearing to help you for one part of a campaign
      - Good use of custom dialogue
      - Good voice acting with the guy in the finale
      - Great use of unique events in all chapters (when you had to find that key) (when you had to fix the generator)
      - Nice use of Atmosphere

      Cons
      - A Glitch was found in chapter 1 that needs to be addressed: Common Infected not reaching you when you on top of a car that's next to the caravan. This also happens if your on the caravan itself. (I'm not sure if theres any more glitches like this, look in to this!)
      - Ending was disappointing...
      - Needs much better direction in where you are going, especially with the puzzles

      Conclusion
This campaign is pretty good in my opinion. From the environments of a town to a forest to the caverns through to the power plant, the campaign felt enjoyable with all of those, especially the ghost house in chapter 2 which was well done. The earthquakes which re-directed the survivors path is good since it makes the path less direct from point A to B. You may also see that there are flares marked on the ground, however the arrows don't seem to be there to give us the directions when doing a puzzle, which would've frustrated people a bit looking for a key (at least give hints on where the key is). The cameo appearance of the L4D survivors to help the other survivors out was good to progress on with the chapter itself as I liked. The voice acting In the finale was spot on, it was well done. The events are not bad at all since it isn't a hit and wait button, the chapter 1 event had you finding a key which wasn't bad for a unique event. There are some things however that did let this campaign down, and not make it good, the glitches to begin with was the biggest con to find since the glitches In chapter 1 didn't allow CI to reach you, that's bad if they cant reach you. The ending itself didn't seem good, just ending it in a saferoom had no meaning to the ending and it was pointless IMO. anyways this campaign even though it is in beta is well done for its detailed maps overall. Great Job!

      Pros:

The disasters are a nice way to divert the path instead of having invisible walls that don't make sense.
      L4D cameos

      Cons:

      Needs much better direction
      Too much backtracking.
Have to search for key. Should have a "puzzle" tag.

      Conclusion:

When everything was highlighted during the first events, it wasn't bad. The backtracking and unclear path got tedious real quick, and having to search for a key was the final straw. It works in RPGs, which are made to take up all of your time, but not l4d2, where wasting time means more hordes. Slap a Puzzle tag on this one so those that want maps that feel like l4d2 won't waste our time.
