Very classic, one of the best L4D2 custum campaign.^^
This is also one of my favorite campaign.^^ chapter 2 is the hard part, but there are many throwable in the saferoom, which can be used to help the player turn off the alarm and defend before the elevator descends.^^ I think chapter 3 and 4 are the most fun parts, which can kill a large number of zombies in a short period of time. The finale can stay at a higher position, and use some throwable to attract the zombies' attention, and use the height gap in the train station to avoid Tank’s attack. Overall this is an excellent campaign, which is worth playing with friends.^^ Nice work!XD
An absolute classic, a campaign I've played well over 50 times, and no wonder, it's perfect in my opinion, I don't see a single problem with this campaign, great map design, pacing, navmesh etc. It's great! Can recommend as a Valve quality campaign.
"welcome back mr freeman and prepare for unforseen consequence"
here we go, back to city 17 looks like the combine has fallen to greenflu virus and now its time to kill many zombie and escape from these cursed city
Regardless of whether you played Half-Life 2: Episode One or not, this is a great and solid campaign. Well balanced, with panic events and plenty of supplies, excellent gameplay at every map and on all difficulties. The choice of music differs from the actual tracks used in the original HL2EP1 maps, but it works and brings back memories anyway.
A well made map without any errors.
Plenty of supplies around the maps.
Spawns of the commons & specials worked fine with no problems,though its funny to see them spawn & get get stuck.
The finale was good.
The bots seem to have trouble navigating the part where you turn off the alarm & at the end when you run to the train.
Other than that good work.
-A very beautiful and loved map that is top for all the community;
-Supplies are good enough;
-Guns and ammo are good enough as well;
-Everything runs in order;
-Giant and enjoyable, we are never tired for there is always a good thing to behold;
-Hordes and SI spawn absolutely normally, the map is so great and functional I don't even care if they get glitched sometimes;
-Remarkable and immortal;
-It's terryfing, but I simply found none; =)
You should be doing more good stuff like that; city 17 is saved and has back ups in case it accidentally is deleted from donwloadable servers.... Enormous Congratulations!!!!
This is a well-crafted campaign that you can enjoy even when you haven't played any Half-life game before. The gameplay and the experience of the map itself without the references is enough. From the environments, crescendo, gauntlet events and even supplies distribution. What I liked the most about this campaign is the music on chapter four and the way the weather changes on one of the earlier chapters - it starts to rain and you can see the shift in the skybox and the visibility going really low. It has some touch of realism to it. Played this with my friends and I can say that it's a map worth replaying. Here's a short video of me and my friends' gameplay in this map:
The title speaks 99% of the review. Quality map and quality transition from half life 2 to left 4 dead 2. If you like valve map, and you're new to custom map and would like to start one. This is a decent and perfect map to start with.
Not much I am willing to say about this, mainly because I'd rather people experience it for themselves.
What I'll say for now is if you've been holding out on downloading a campaign now's a good time!
This campaign takes me back to the good old days of the first Left 4 Dead when campaigns were long but also great.
You don't see a lot of that done well together any more, so don't miss out on this campaign!
