More RE mods for my collection!
I love using the RE mods for when I play the custom campaigns & this fits in great. My only issue is that the mod is still enabled despite me turning it off so it overwrites other jockey mods I have. I tried doing a fresh reinstall & cleaning my addons folder but it still happens, no biggie but it's odd.

Those zombie ******** are gonna pay for ruining my vacation!!! Great mod. When there's 4 Dukes no alien or zombie ******** are safe. Only downside is the arms/shoulders seem to obscure the view a bit
Fun with the variety
It's good to see you're hard at work on making more puzzle maps. Good Various locations on each map, never been to Buenos Aires myself. Difficulty wasn't too easy or hard Balanced supplies Puzzle solving Music fit the atmosphere Custom skins Bad Bot nav & pathing was a bit wonky in some places, they'd get stuck or not move at all until I shoved them etc. Keep up the good work. Also did you decide on working on Resident Evil 4 or another Resident Evil themed campaign like Survivor?

Thanks for replying Roku, I'm thinking my issue might be the bots mods I'm using, which can make the bots do weird things on custom maps. I understand about not working on another RE map, you mentioned before that finding the time to work on it was a problem as you're busy with stuff like work etc, understandable. I've been looking into working on custom maps but I also need to find time to make it.

Thanks LilG <3 .. Bots are odd, some people including myself never got a problem with bots, and some others say that they get stuck on different spots, Im checking that. About RE, I dont think on another campaign, Cambalache is probably my last work

Fun the mess around with but some issues.
This is fun to play around with & combined with other mods like the survivors stand on their own feet or all 8 survivors. my only gripes are their pathing can be erratic, sometimes they warp out of bounds so you can't rescue them. I think there's a command to get them to warp to you, but sometimes they get stuck & I have to try to recover them to finish a campaign, it happened a few times in custom maps where I reach the safehouse but they don't follow or respond. Unless I'm doing something wrong?

Well, if pathing means the way bots choose their paths to follow players & navigate the areas, yes, that's usually related to maps, not the bot mods. Maps in a campaign usually have their own bot navigation. I ever saw a mapper deleting navigation file by accident & that made the bots stop moving. & when the bots refuse to enter a place like elevator, or cable car on your reference, that's probably a bug related to the map. You can report that bug to the author or the person in charge of publishing the campaign so that it will be fixed soon on the next update. Normally, bot's behavior when entering elevator or cable car is like the 1st map of "Dead Center" when they immediately follow players to enter elevator. Well, for that purpose too, the "come back here" chat command was created back then, to solve bot's navigation problems when some custom maps have bugged bot navigation on some parts. . & to check how good/ bad the navigation on a custom map, "you lead" can be used. Normally, when used in official campaigns that have good navigations, bots will keep moving forward to the safehouse while shooting zombies around them. But if navigation of a custom map is not good or has some bugs, they will move in one place like they are confused of where to go. So if there's a case when bots only stand still when players are incapacitated not far from them, there's high possibility that bot's navigation on that map can't navigate where the players are incapacitated, so bots just stand still. That also happens in Kokiri Forest map2 above the tree on the other side in the beginning of the map, where there's a switch to push to bring down a treasure box. If a player slips & is hanging on the ledge there, bots will only see that player fall to death.

I tested it with only the merciless bots mods & 8 survivors on the silent hill otherside of life map the latest version. I used the no warp mode & the bots seemed to be fine aside from their erratic pathing on some parts, but that's probably because it's a custom map & its happened before using other bot mods mainly in small areas or if there's maze like spots. With the latest version of Yama they sometimes got stuck in the cable car section or refuse to get on it but I think again that's due to the custom map & not your mods/scripts I was able to finish the campaign by warping them to me even though some died.

As I checked my "Survivors Stand" & "Survivor Bots Stand", it looks like only the newest "Survivor Bots Stand" has the "Bot Emergency Warp". If you use the "Survivors Stand" mod, the only warp skill is "Bot Regroup Warp" that is triggered when a bot is too far from players. Probably that one caused the stuck warp on your plays. You can try to test by disabling that one first & see if the stuck warps still happen or not. If the stuck warps still happen, try to enable only "Merciless Bots" as the only bot mod. & if after enabling only "Merciless Bots" the stuck warps still happen, I'll try to check by playing several other custom campaigns & official one again. . & about the custom campaigns on your plays, could you tell me which series/ versions are those? For RE series (1, 2 side A-B, & 3), bot navigation usually has a problem at long ladders & some traps (like trap door on RE1 that can only be broken by fireaxe in the previous room, boulders on RE2, nemesis tank behind the big bell on RE3). For Silent Hill series, which Silent Hill series did you play last time? As far as I know, there are 3 Silent Hill Series: the old Silent Hill with 12 maps, Silent Hill "Otherside of Life" (this one has the old version & enhanced one), & "Tribute to Silent Hill". I haven't tried the updated version of Otherside of Life "Enhanced" as last time I tested the old version without keys on map 3 & 5. & for Yama, there are also 2 versions: the very old one with exploitable glitches on the finale (like survivors can even gather the gascans near the generator first before starting the finale) & the recently updated Yama. I haven't tested the updated Yama yet. . But again, the suspicion for the roots of the stuck warp & unresponsive bots are more to the bot mods & some custom campaigns with warp features. So, you could try to check the bot mods first, & then test some campaigns other than those you mentioned on the previous comment (RE, Silent Hill, & Yama). Let me know again if you still find either the stuck warp or unresponsive bot problem (or both) after testing other campaigns.

Thanks for replying, I think the issue is I'm using the survivors stand on their own feet combined with merciless bots & the 8 survivors mods. I tried it on custom maps like Resident Evil, Silent Hill & Yama. The bots either get stuck, warp & end up dying or just circle around the saferoom. But I will test it without the mods listed, as I think my issue is using too many mods together at one time.

Thanks for the review. For the investigation of bot navigation problem, you can test by using "you lead" chat command. Normally they'll run into the safehouse on their own with that command. If they don't do that, there's a high possibility that either other custom campaigns or mods cause the problem, as when I tested by using this mod alone on several custom campaigns & official ones, they didn't show that bugged behavior. Most of the time, certain custom campaigns cause the navigation problem, but you can immediately warp them by using "come back here", or just point somewhere close to you & type "check there". Anyway, could you tell me in which custom campaigns you found the bots unresponsive? I want to investigate that unresponsive behavior too if possible, to figure out whether the problem comes from my mod or the custom campaigns. . As for the stuck warps, I think I disabled that one on this current version until further warp fix. So, if that still happens, probably it's because of other mods, like for example, my other mod "Survivors Stand on Their Own Feet" might still have the warp features enabled (I forget which one between "Survivors Stand on Their Own Feet" or "Survivor Bots Stand on Their Own Feet", but I think one of them has the "Bot Emergency Warp" installed). But you can always solve the stuck warp with "come back here" chat command (you could bind that chat command as that one is kind of useful to solve most of bot problems).

Whoa!! It's N.Sane!
Good Fixes from previous versions & it's more balanced than the finale of the original which was near impossible to do with just yourself & bots. I somehow managed it with the improved bots mod etc. Balanced supply wise The horde spawn wasn't crazy that you're overwhelmed by them Boss fights from the crash bandicoot games makes it more interesting Each map is mixed with various stages from the crash games was a nice touch along with the music. Multiple endings Bad Ok I have to admit I'm not a fan of big brother or the heavy metal music at the end,is there a way to disable it? Its hard on the ears. Certain boss fights like Cortex & N.Gin it's hard to know if your shots are registering also the finale fight in the ship with the lasers the bots tend to kill themselves. Could you add a counter for the boxes? It's difficult to keep track of how many boxes you've broken then you got to backtrack through the map again which can be risky. So far I only managed to get 4/6 of the gems on my 3 runs. I'm a huge fan of the crash games since the original from 1996 & this was an interesting map to play. I hope you make more crash maps.
Due to the map layout, you can make the horde climb over obstacles or fall into holes pretty easily. Older versions of this map had more frequent hordes. I was playing on normal mode with improved bots mod, it was only annoying with hordes when fighting N.Gin & Cortex on his ship.
i think you play easy mode, with bot in normal ( even improve bot) you can't pass some crazy horde spawn i play 8 survival (7 are bots) in map map Extinct you will see crazy Crescendo horde spawn when you are top of the aztec after the cutscene ended. bot falling there and you too
A much better improvement over the previous version
Good The custom events, makes the variety interesting better than just run from A to B. Variety of environments. Difficulty wasn't too hard or too easy. Plenty of supplies for everybody. Custom sounds. The problems with the previous version being fixed like seeing the wireframe of the area or when bots/enemies got stuck in walls. Bad Bot nav is still wonky & they have that habit or staying on ladders or falling to their deaths. Lack of melee weapons, all I could find was the baton, I hoped there would be a selection. Horde spawn seemed a bit broken, almost non spot or multiple specials would spawn. Aside from that its good that this map was fixed.

The time travel idea is a great concept for a custom map Using wormholes to teleport was amusing, I first thought it would kill me or warp us to our deaths. Character dialogues on the maps Bot navigation was ok but bots being bots sometimes just stayed on the longer ladders but they didn't fall to their deaths like in other maps. Lots to explore & the maps didn't look empty or plain Difficulty wise it felt balanced,I only died once in the finale being careless at the end. I only played on normal/realism. Easter eggs are a nice touch In conclusion it's a fun campaign to play & it has plenty of replayability.

Nice tribute to portal
Good It's Portal Plenty of supplies/weapon tier varieties No bugs/glitches Balance of common/special spawns,it wasn't just a non stop horde or armies of Tanks. Bot nav worked fine aside from them falling off the long ladders to their deaths Bad Like I mentioned the bots had trouble on long ladders,they'd either fall or just refuse to move leaving me until they teleported to my location/died. Respawn closets felt lacking so did defribs. The finale with collecting the cans,one can was always on the highest part under a pipe which was awkward to reach,I fell many times or slide off. Could you maybe remove the pipe or change it so the can is in another place?
I forgot to add, the finale could probably be edited, as I said, the nature of this being Portal, creative liberties had to be taken.
Good but have time to spare
Good The improvements from older versions where there isn't weird flashing/contrast/strange textures. More supplies being added so it's less of an endurance map. Balanced commons/specials before it was near endless now it's less frustrating Hints so you're not lost Some parts were less annoying than before to navigate like the lab. bad The prison/underground area are still near impossible to see,also the fog in the town sections makes it very hard to see where you're going. Adding extra keys to find adds to the frustration it takes to clear a map,the town parts I'd say was the most frustrating as you can easily get lost/fall to your death into the void. I like exploring but having a huge empty area plus fog gets frustrating to find where to go. Perhaps add some arrows or a safehouse symbol on some walls? The map to get to the hotel was bugged I got 3/4 keys was able to crawl under the bar & reach the hotel. The finale the bots ended up falling on the ladders & the platforms. Ive played various versions of this & other Silent Hill maps.Keep up the good work.

Fun but needs some balancing
Good Plenty of supplies on each map Bot nav wasn't an issue they followed me fine No errors or purple textures Options for light/dark modes Bad Horde spawns were pretty frequent The Tank that breaks down the saferoom door got stuck so it was a sitting duck for us. The door fell down after it died. Weird FPS spikes,my pc isn't great but it was awkward. Apart from that it was fun

The full radioactive experience
Good Custom environment with textures Puzzles Plenty of places to explore Bad The spawns of commons & hordes felt too much on each map,it was worse when you're trying to solve puzzles/collect cans & they just keep coming. The puzzle to open the doors using the 3 monitors was a bit unclear,but with trial & error I worked it out. The part where collecting the cans to for the barrel was unclear. Finale was different but the button to open the inner doors didn't seem to register at first when I was in front of it pressing use. It was fun to play.
Fun to explore
Good Custom environment Plenty of supplies on each map Hordes weren't too much neither were special spawns. It wasnt too challenging or too easy Random events Voice acting It's a bigger improvement over previous versions where I got stuck.

Good Plenty of supplies No errors or checkered parts Spawning of infected was fine for me in normal,it wasn't too much. Changing weather & various mixed environments The layout was easy to navigate Bad The finale was pretty easy & I wasn't expecting that you just go up but it was pretty easy The crescendo part the bots got stuck for some reason. I don't know why people are complaining about the file size it downloaded really quick. Keep up the good work

Good No errors/glitches Stable with mods Another let's build map Not too hard for a build map,balanced with spawns Bad Bots didn't seem to want to take weapons when I unlocked them,they just stood in front of them. The weapons/supplies were close together which made it awkward when trying to get them. Could you space them out a bit? I think it's a bug but a bot got trapped when I was building a fence. When taking metal/building a fence etc sometimes the fov gets moved to the right or left so I can't see what's happening. Apart from that it's a good map. I'll upload a run eventually.
This one time,at Summer Camp there were zombies &.....
Good Summer camp design Plenty of supplies No errors but the skybox was purple & checkered.I'm not sure if that's a problem on my end. It wasn't too hard or too easy. Fishing up stuff was a nice touch. Bad Too short but it's well made.

Good No errors or glitches. Supplies were generous for each map & the finale. Spawns were normal,not too little & not too much. Bot navigation wasn't a problem,those bots followed me just fine for once. The maps were straight forward & easy to navigate. Bad Ok I know there's lots of fire in this map but the bots seems to love to stand near it which caused me to babysit them. Weird crashing when my friends tried to join me & some lagging in the finale when the hordes were coming. Short & not too challenging but it was fun.
Berry Good in China
Good Custom map in China with cool assets & no errors. The maps were easy to follow with no glitches or weird skyboxes. Plenty of supplies,throwables for days. The horde & special spawns weren't too much,I dislike maps where its near endless hordes. The moving saferoom on the last map. Bad The opening part a Charger immediately death charged a team mate while we stood there talking. A broken piece of the map fell on a survivor & incapped them,as referenced by another poster. Apart from that it was great & I'll upload a run on here.
Boomstick fun
This is fun to mess around with but a couple of cons. Team mates can get killed/incapped too easily. I think it's a glitch but when I picked up frag ammo & tried to shoot with it,I somehow got incapped. This is from me shooting not my team mates. Not sure if it was from the shotgun skin & this mod conflicting. It's still fun shooting through hordes like its nothing.

I use the one called No Friendly Fire, but there are plenty of others out there as well here and on the Workshop. But the one I use can be found on this website, so I guess that's the one I'd recommend because it has been doing the job for me for years.

When using ANY mod that makes the weapons very powerful it is VERY necessary to use a mod with it that prevents friendly fire "incidents" from happening. The bots are very dumb and will walk into your line of fire (all 8 of them do it.) There are many such mods out there (including some on this website as well as the Stream Workshop.) As far as the issue with frag rounds I personally believe it to be a bug in the game itself, as for years I've noticed when using overpowered weapons mods (not just mine), you can shoot at something in front of you but teammates complain they've been shot even though they are NOT in the line of fire. At the same time though, this never happens with incendiary ammunition. I've been using a no friendly fire mod since at least 2013 and I have no problems with my overpowered mods or anyone else's. In fact I recommend using such a mod even if NOT using overpowered weapons because the bots are so dumb you are going to hurt them sooner or later and it won't even been your fault! Thanks for trying my mod.

Needs some fixes
Good No problems with the environment, errors or glitches. Plenty of supplies Generous with revival closets The overall difficulty wasn't bad on normal/realism Bad The horde spawns were broken, each event had near endless hordes coming which was off putting. Even when a car alarm gets set off they just kept coming. I'll post a video of my run eventually.
It's not so bad as there's plenty of melee & throwables around to deal with it but it seems excessive ,I cleared it without too much trouble.
The creator used a different type of system to generate zombies than using the director but I just left it. It works pretty good and isn't overly excessive. There are a couple places it acts like a dev using a script and creates a gauntlet to get you shuffling on. :) Overall you get a few more zombies than normal. However, the big difference is now you have recovery closets that work, and any events that are triggered are triggered by players instead of randomly triggering. I think overall most folks will enjoy it. Just keep a melee or two pistols on you :)
Cool looking Specials
I liked the look of the specials,only one negative is that the Witches music is louder & screechy than the others.
Challenging & unbalanced but it has its charm
Good Plenty of weapons,supplies. Custom Tank music A tron like environment. It was pretty straightforward No glitches/errors on each part Bad The near non stop hordes when you cross the lines got annoying when you're trying to reach the end. The colours of each part really hurt my eyes after a while. Weird Witch placements on some maps,they were either right in the maze or even where you can hit the switch for the wall. Finding switches was pretty just hugging the walls until I found something,could you make it more clearer? Tank spawns felt very weird,I had pairs of Tanks spawn behind me right before or after a safehouse. I was challenging but I feel like the horde & Tank spawns need some balance,apart from that it was fun.
Will you take the Magnum? Hell yes!!
I love having RE weapons in my games this is another great addition for my collection. I hope you add more RE weapons mods in the future.
Beware the lava
Good A different map design from just recycled ideas. Plenty of supplies Earthquakes add to the hazards with the lava. Spawns for commons/SI weren't erratic. Bad Bots had trouble navigating the highway & when the lava appears,they died a few times from being unable to follow me to safety,especially in the finale. It's fun but too short,was hoping for maybe a longer campaign. The placements for some cars caused me to get stuck between them & I had to restart the campaign due to this.
Say Wat!
Good An interesting orange campaign for my collection. No errors on the maps,though the bots seemed to have trouble navigating. Plenty of supplies,weapons & ammo piles. It wasn't too hard or too easy on normal,the spawns for commons & specials wasn't crazy. Fairly linear but plenty of places to explore. Bad It was mentioned by another poster, but the bots did seem to act weird on the finale & died while I was making my way to the rescue. It was a bit too short for me & the gauntlet parts felt pretty short. It was short & sweet,I'll upload a video of my run eventually.
Plenty of map ideas but needs some polish
Good Custom music & areas for each parts of the map. Due to the challenge of all the Tanks/Witches etc there's plenty of supplies to keep going. Variety in each map,which I enjoy in all your other maps too. It's good to mix it up instead of just hit this switch,run over there etc. Those Tank factory models looked cool,using mods they looked amusing when I had Tanks spawn as Venom. Bad As with your other maps,the spawning of commons is pretty high even on normal,it gets very crazy when you're dealing with 4-5 Tanks plus a large horde,at least there's bile around to distract them for a while but please dial back the common spawns. I know it's called Tank Factory but the number of Tanks spawning in each map is pretty high between 4-7 Tanks in map 3 but oddly I only saw about 3 in the finale map. Also the Witch spawns were very numerous at least 2-4 on each map. The explosive barrels helped but they seem to be everywhere causing bots to shoot them or myself resulting in a sea of fire then incapped. The finale was good but it was difficult to work out where to reach the helicopter,could you maybe have it highlighted or an outline for it? I could hear it but couldn't see where the ladder was. This was a fun but challenging campaign.

Don't drink the water....
Good No errors/glitches with any of the maps. Plenty of supplies The frequency of the hordes/specials wasn't overdone,it felt balanced. Interesting finale Bad Bot nav was weird. It was kind of bland,also the water seemed to be instant death or just shallow in some places,the bots would just sink to their deaths & I couldn't save them. Aside from that it was fun,good work
Very challenging
Good The environment & the locations from HL. Various events. No errors/glitches There wasn't any purple/black textures. Wasn't too short or too long. Bad The spawn for hordes & specials are unbalanced,especially in the finale. I saw triple spitters,chargers etc. It makes starting the generators really difficult. Lack of supplies & rescue closets. There were only a few ammo piles,weapons,pills & throwables on each map. Bots tend to die a lot & there was no way of rescuing them. The finale seemed a mess,with starting generators,then taking down 4 Tanks while waiting for the helicopter to arrive,with multiple specials attacking. Could you tone down the spawns even on normal it's barely doable. Apart from that I had fun & will keep this map in my folder.
Enjoyable but confusing.
Good The hints on where to go & what to do are clear. Plenty to explore but its easy to get lost. The supplies & ammo piles were spread out nicely,didn't need to worry about getting low. The rescue at the end was highlighted which helped as I had no idea where to go. Bad Some places the water was deep that myself & the bots drowned,but I think Valve should of given the survivors the ability to swim. The backtracking part was pretty vague,with the hard rain like visibility making it more challenging. Bot nav is a bit weird,they had a habit of hanging off edges when travelling around. Horde spawn felt frequent which kind of slowed down progression a bit. It has replayability & I'll keep it in my addons.

Creative
Good The gritty dark atmosphere that you start in. Supplies were plenty in each map,even the finale had enough things to keep the horde off your back. Didn't find any errors. The horde spawn wasn't too much. Bad It's pretty confusing where to go. A lot of places just looked empty & bland. Parts were really dark & hard to see. The end gauntlet was really long,felt longer than any other campaign,but I liked the idea of the flying escape car at the end. I had fun & I will keep this in my folder,likely upload a run onto this site in the future.
Short but entertaining
Good: No errors,glitches. Plenty of supplies. A big area to explore as the rats. Interesting finale fueling up a UFO to escape. Difficulty wasn't too hard or too easy on normal/realism. Music noises with the radio. Only con was the bots had trouble on the ladders,either just falling or getting stuck,also they joined me at the UFO when I fuelled it up but stood around it not moving. It's a bit short ,would be nice if it were longer but it was 30 minutes of fun.
Difficult but it's possible
Good A castle of evil,it's good to see a campaign based on that. Secrets to explore Teamwork is essential. Puzzles & traps. Custom music. Bad Ok I know you wrote it's for friends to tackle,I did it with a few friends as well as bots only but it's a matter of trial & error for solving the traps,like the one with the spikes or the poison. Maybe you could add hints on which switch to hit that's correct? Also the room with the spikes in the ceiling,my friends & I crossed it but it seemed to slow us down & even incapped a bot very quickly. The poison gas is lethal,can you add more health kits/defribs/respawn closets? We spent hours trying to clear the campaign. The hints about the night prince,what exactly are we supposed to do? It was fun but frustrating in places,even on normal.I'll try to do this with 3 other friends but it would be nice if you could make it a bit more bot friendly for those who can't get other people to play together at the same time. Keep up the good work.
It's pretty doable with bots IF you have a modded weapon or two. Also try united we stand Co-op, but it's also true the AI director scales how many infected to send based on how well you kill them... My son and I usually make an advanced run with just one or two modded weapon (and not the ludicrous shotguns or pistols - unless the map is really f*%$&ng us) ... Usually the AK-12 and the super-baseball bad... then we might try expert and add a couple more guns that have a bot higher capacity like the "varmint" versions of the UZI's. I know some people might insist on doing things "pure" ... but there's ways to have fun with EVERY map and I for one, love that people are still making stuf for L4D. It's also very entertaining to replace CI with Evil Dead Skeletons and replace the tank with the Dragon. :D

Bad Bots had trouble navigating some areas,getting stuck on ledges where I'd have to rescue them or they'd just stand there. It's pretty short & the finale was easy,but the bots again got stuck getting to the helicopter.

Good Day/Night cycle nice touch No errors/glitches Bots didnt get stuck in places,even the lift. Plenty to explore for supplies. Balanced in regards to hordes/special spawns. The map wasn't too short/long/too challenging. Bad I don't know if it was my improved bots mod,but they sometimes didn't pick up kits or pills in the saferoom. Tanks,other specials got stuck at the finale making it really easy to deal with them,even when the rescue appears. apart from that I had fun & will be uploading a video of my run as well as keeping it in my addons.

Unfinished & unplayable
Good Custom environment Plenty of supplies No errors. Bad Parts of the map were unfinished that they showed up as a wire frame so I had no idea where I was supposed to go,ended up falling to my death lots of times,with the bots being able to climb the invisible ladders etc. Horde spawns seemed constant,same with Tank spawns,its not exactly balanced if you're trying to navigate a wire framed area with tanks on your tail. Lack of defribs & rescue closets so I stayed dead for an entire map. If possible please fix the the wire frame area where you need to jump around as well as the finale.

Hordes seem to be frequent,event when you don't trigger an alarm from cars/being Boomed on.
Bots had trouble on ladders when there's infected blocking their way or getting to the lift.
Its a bit vague sometimes on where to go when travelling the maps,got lost or bots fell to their death,at least there's plenty of rescue closets.
I don't know if it was a glitch but sometimes the Tank would get stuck on the environment during the maps & just die.
The parts where you need to use propane tanks to blow up the wall/tower its kind of vague if you need to shoot them or use a molotov to cause them to blow up,lost health when I had to use a molly to break the wall.
I had fun & hope you keep making more maps for the community to enjoy!!
Challenging but fun
Good Custom music/sounds really adds to the atmosphere. I haven't played any maps with mines. Custom events. Despite the finale being the hardest part for me,it was fun. Bad The balancing of supplies & infected seemed really off. Some maps there's barely anything,others there's plenty around. Infected seem to pop up randomly in spots,trudging through the water section in the cave was tedious with hordes coming at you in the dark,with barely any throwables/kits. I said I found the finale fun,but I feel it needs some railings or parts of it not so exposed as team mates or infected can easily fall to their deaths. But its fun to watch the Tanks bad AI pathing to get to you. The upper section did cause the bots problems climbing the ladders & falling to their death a few times. I'm keeping this map in my addons,hope you make more! I'll upload my run onto gamemaps eventually.
Fun but needs work
Good Custom environments,weapons & supplies. Music that fits the atmosphere Different events during the maps was a nice touch,it's good to see stuff mixed in,instead of just run there,grab this etc. Bad Big open areas with confusing paths to the cans was a bit disorientating. The near constant hordes really slowed down progression,it gets tedious especially the part where you need to grab the cans for the lawnmower or the explosives at the finale. As much as I liked messing around with the custom weapons,they seemed useless & the bots end up hurting themselves. Limited melee kind of made it more challenging,I'd prefer if there were melee weapons that didn't have limited uses. The large number of tanks on some maps,4-5 Tanks when you need to enter the code to open the saferoom door felt unbalanced,there wasn't that many mollies around to deal with them. Weird glitch on map 4 where after i closed the door the next map spawned me outside the saferoom on the wrong side,I was able to walk around but it ended up teleporting me inside the saferoom on map 5. I enjoyed playing this with bots on normal/realism,I feel it needs some polish but I can tell you put a lot of effort into this map. Also the code for the door,does it change or stay the same? First time it was 4746,I tried that again but nothing happened.
I think the code was random, i got 0118, i shoot the thing like black plate, n the code revealed
I forgot to ask,but where are the hints for the code to the door? i just hit random numbers until the code on the building showed up.
The code probably changes. I ever compared the code from the playthrough on youtube & my play, & when I put the same number as the one on youtube, nothing worked, & I had to check the code manually again

Good A map based off one of the best Final Fantasy games ever!!! Music from the bombing mission with Sephiroth as a boss Plenty of supplies Challenging but not insanely difficult Bad Bots don't seem to recognise the boss & occasionally just stand there without shooting It works as a survival map but I think having a campaign based on the game would be a great idea,I understand the game was huge back in '97 on 3 discs & it would take a lot of time & effort to make it into a full campaign. This was a great idea for a survival map though. Another bot problem was they had trouble getting into the lift once the prompt said it has arrived. I enjoyed playing this map.

The way the bosses seem to work is that there's a Jockey inside of them. You can hear it just before the boss glows to indicate that you can damage it. (not sure how it is with Sephiroth, but the ship on Normal and Bahamut on Hard definitely have Jockeys) The Jockey is what lures the bots into shooting the boss. Sometimes (at least with previous versions) I accidentally kill the Jockey before the boss starts to glow - like if I toss a molotov too early - which means the bots have no reason to shoot except at regular zombies spawning below the boss.

I see,I managed to beat it on easy,but the bots do have trouble navigating the area where you need to set the bomb,they tend to stand on the pipes/ladders. But I'll try to play this map with friends next time.

there's no way to get bots to notice a "boss"... if something's not already a part of the vanilla game they can't interact with it. also, I think it should work as coop... i edited it to load as coop for my screenshots. it only being survival might be an oversight.

Good Starship troopers was a good film,its good to see a map based on it. Commons as the bugs. Plenty of supplies on each map. No errors/glitches Custom sounds for the weapons Bad The bots sometimes had trouble navigating certain areas of the map & would take the long way around if I got incapped,1 bot got stuck at the end for some reason. The occasional consistency error for the Boomer,despite turning off any mods relating to it. The bugs while a nice touch was a bit awkward to know which were dead or alive. This was a fun map to play.

Short but fun
Good Multiple routes Plenty of supplies & weapons. Custom environments & choices of escape vehicles. Bad Lack of melee weapons Bot navigation is weird,they'd either refuse to get into the lift or the escape vehicle in the finale after you fill up the truck with the cans. Short & pretty easy on normal. I enjoyed it & will keep this in my addon folder.
A good attempt but it needs improvement.
Good Minecraft designed maps are few in the workshops,its good to see more. Plenty of supplies. Not too complicated or too maze like. Difficulty wasn't too hard or too easy. Bad The design of the map was unbalanced,the water section caused the bots to die several times as they'd lose health then try to heal underwater with a horde spawning in the water. Lack of defribs. Up to 5 tanks in the last map with water sections which made it awkward to fight them. Hordes spawning randomly in thin air or in areas. Lack of weapons spawning there were more tier 1 than 2. The finale was imcomplete,was hoping you could escape somehow,similar to the deathcraft map with the escape boat. Bot navigation was odd,the part with the generator was a bit strange to add in the map,was it supposed to be part of the finale you were planning? It was a good attempt,needs some polish but at least it's playable with no errors.

There didn't seem to be any melee or t2 weapons on any of the maps. I couldn't find an ak or a military sniper for example.
Once I reached the escape helicopter,after 2 bots got incapped, after that the credits rolled then at the end we ended up at the finale saferoom with somehow the screen was black but I could hear the voices of the survivors.

A nice tribute to the series.
I've tried every Silent Hill custom map on this site. The key items were simple to find,puzzles were pretty straight forward. Plenty of supplies. No error messages & the environments reminded me of Silent Hill 3 The bots had trouble with the lifts either not entering them or getting stuck on the long ladders in the shopping centre & the 4th map. The boss fight on the 4th map was a nightmare with bots,also that worm can push you into the walls causing you to get stuck,can you fix that so it's not as bad for single players? The finale was pretty easy,it was short campaign but I thought it was going to end with the team fighting the god or something. Keep up the good work!!!

Relatively, the hitbox is a long set of rectangles connected together, but they are positioned on the upper portion of the body. so aiming for the head and anywhere on the main area above the ground should cause damage. the grenade launchers were put to make it easier to hit those hitboxes cause they should make contact, but its a little experimental because its quite a small room to use them in so there could be alot of friendly fire issues. The m60 heavy machine is useful for shooting whilst back-peddling, so i added those in so you can get the most out of those moments where you are in front of it, but its truly up to your tastes/ difficulty level. Since the bots dont contribute to the fight I had to add alot of pills into the area so that they wouldn't all be dead right when the doors reopen so you wouldn't end up getting mobbed before you can revive them, but even then they still manage to get themselves killed. The boss it needs alot of tweaking, but hopefully it'll reach a point where its not too annoying to fight and operates in the way I had mostly intended, i didn't just want to throw in a generic tank fight, cause it gets pretty predictable after a while. Regarding the pushing/wall clipping issue ii've tried to increase the radius of the room so you can get pushed to the side of the worm rather than directly into a wall, seems to be more secure now, but it might be hard to tell unless I have multiple players trying to do it at once.

Thanks for replying. I played the maps of silent hill & the otherside of life they were good,despite being either a buggy mess or just overall tedious & difficult to clear. About the worm,do you have you use a grenade launcher/heavy machine to damage it? or can it take damage anywhere on its body aside from the mouth when it's open? It seemed to eat ammo when i tried to kill it. I understand it would need another 2-5 extra maps if you wanted the full experience of the game. It's good you're taking feedback from players,some modders just delete anything negative related to their maps.

Thank you for your review, I recently added the boss in version 1.2, its still not quite where I want it to be, the biggest issue is keeping the illusion of a worm, so sometimes the train pieces sometimes clip into eachother, also yes, ill keep working on fixing the pushing problem, its something i couldnt perfect without public feedback, so thank you for giving him a shot. I wanted to make an entire remake of the game but that would require many more chapters, but you never know what could happen down the line.

Challenging but not too difficult.
Plenty of supplies. No bugs or glitches. The spawning of the commons/specials wasn't too much like some maps were they spawn rapidly or in pairs. Plenty of various things to do during the map,restart the generator/find the lever/lower the crane etc. The finale was pretty challenging,but it was doable without the lack of throwables. Only problems I had were the bots navigation was odd,one bot refused to follow me to the helicopter & just stayed nearby shooting at the horde while the rest of us boarded it until they got incapped. Keep up the good work.
How Dark Carnival should have been
This is version is more in depth than the official campaign,I don't get why Valve didn't use more elements from this. The part with the monorail,ferris wheel were a nice touch to the carnival along with the tunnel of love. The park looks much grittier & looks pretty different. I liked the finale,it was a challenge even on normal/realism with the instructions given from collecting the can,turning up the volume to 11. The original finale felt pretty simple in comparison.

I tried this out ,no errors plenty of supplies & a good balance of weapons. Custom models for the survivors etc was a nice touch. I play Minecraft with my nephew's so some parts looked familiar. The finale was pretty easy only con was the bots occasionally got stuck on the last 2 maps, not sure if that's a navy error or something. Good work hope you make another Minecraft themed map again.

This was really challenging but I was able to finish this on normal/realism with no problem. I liked how it wasn't really hard from the start but it felt tougher as I progressed. No errors or glitches while playing. The maze concept was cool. There were a lot of Witches but it wasn't too bad to avoid them. Supplies were plenty but it felt like you had to conserve them for later,especially the finale. Only thing was that the bots sometimes stayed in the corner or had trouble navigating the maps. Apart from that great work on this map. I'll make a video of this eventually.

This was a fun but short campaign. A well made campaign,there wasn't any errors. There was some floating supplies though. A floating healthkit & ammo pile. This wasn't too challenging,a bit short finished it in under an hour. The finale was pretty easy but there wasn't an ammo pile at the end,but there were plenty of weapons around when you're out.

Challenging,ok it was really challenging,even on normal/realism. There was an invisible obstacle on the finale,didn't realise it was there. There were too many panic events. Too many invisible objects around,that needs fixing. Also the lack of ammo piles in later maps. Good things were there were plenty of other supplies & no other bugs. Bot nav is wonky. Aside from that I'll be keeping this in my addons folder.

The traps did end up killing them over and over at least they were plenty of defribs around. The custom Chinese music was a nice touch. The death traps were annoying but reviving the bots wasn't too much of a problem. Also what's up with the finale? There were so many hordes of common but only a few tanks it affected my fps when I tried to record my run. Also I don't know what the problem is but I kept getting crashes during play,I ended up playing in vanilla.Even having just survivor/weapon skins seemed to cause a crash. The warning about too many index buffer came up which means too many mods but the map seemed to hate any mods. Aside from that,good job on the campaign.

A balanced map with voices & simple to navigate. Plenty of supplies. No random hordes of infected,bots didn't have nav issues or problems picking things up. The bots died on the finale but that was probably me just rushing when the rescue message popped up.
This one has been around a long time. Just glad I could fix what was wrong with it. :)

I like these let's build maps but somehow this crashes a lot,even when I've disabled mods. The horde seems really numerous when trying to set up the rocket & when I finally got it built it crashed several times,not sure what the problem is.

Too many hordes,it really slows things down.
The bots don't seem to attack the boss at all they just stand there & end up getting killed by its attacks.
The fog is disorientating at times.
This was fun but I feel it needs some tweaks to the AI,also can the boss be damage with molotovs? I threw some at it but wasn't sure it was doing any damage.

GTASA was a great game,only problem I've had is that the sounds aren't that loud when I use this mod,not sure if it's my sound settings that are the problem or not.

Extra crispy zombies
I like the fact you have a flamethrower to roast those infected. Only con is it seems to run out of fuel really quickly,also it can be a dangerous source of friendly fire. Apart from that it's great fun to use.

A giant robot that you take down with cannons was a cool idea,that was a nice touch.
Only downsides were it was a bit confusing where to go at times & I don't know if I was just unlucky but Tanks & Witches spawned a lot on each map even the finale had a Witch near a cannon & a Tank spawned in the lift as we all got in,but I managed to kill it before it could incap everyone.
Also I'm not sure if it's a glitch but those globes on the finale caused the bots to either get incapped instantly or their health would dip into the red when a Tank would hit one at them.
This was a lot of fun,not too difficult,not too easy with plenty of challenges even the hordes in the finale didn't feel too difficult,felt like when you're playing Dead Center. Keep up the good work!!
Challenging,but it needs some fixing.
The mashups are interesting with various environments. Custom skins for the Tank,I'm guessing it's a green/red Hulk skin as well as some weird molten lava skin for the Tank in the last few maps. There are some pink textures & error messages in some maps,even with the content fix mod. Far too many Tank spawns on each map,same with there being loads of witches around as well as hordes that seem to appear frequently. The bots have trouble following me into lifts ending up getting stuck,some safe rooms the supplies are floating in the air unable to be taken by anyone. I tried to finish this campaign but the 4th map with the mountain seems unplayable as it keeps crashing or we reach the balloon but nothing happens & it doesn't move onto the next map.

I know it's supposed to be based on games where it's dark but sometimes its so dark it's really hard to see where to go,even with the brightness turned up.

Good A campaign based on a novel by Stephen King. The narrator in each part. Bad While having an large open world is a good thing,the areas felt kind of bland & empty. A few buildings in a desert it just seems empty. It's very easy to get lost even with the arrows,it's too vague to know where to go. Lack of supplies & tier 2 weapons,I explored the maps but barely found anything like throwables or pills. The near constant hordes coming at you,which really is off putting. 3rd map with the infinite hordes,that was almost made it unplayable.It's too dark to see where to go & you got hordes/specials coming after you,not a good idea. This is a nice idea for a map but this needs some work to made it better. Horde/supplies/weapon balancing,adding more structures something to make the maps look less empty/bland.

I enjoy playing the mash up maps,this was pretty difficult at times. Good The environment was well designed,no errors or problems. Weather effects added some atmosphere to the map. Balanced supplies in each map,plenty of guns & melee weapons too. Bad The sheer number of hordes coming at you really slowed down the progression,also sometimes there would be a message that a survivor alerted the horde for no reason. It seemed to happen randomly. The difficulty seemed to spike at times,with multiple Tanks/Witches spawning,then going back to being sort of casual with only a couple of Tanks/Witches. The area with the red targets was bugged,once I went down the ladder,I couldn't get back up again. Is that area supposed to be a puzzle ? Other than that it was fun to play,took just over 2 hours to finish solo with bots.
Ya your right. I just figured out what you are talking about. The target range. I believe someone else mentioned it. The ladder isn't working. My fault. I need to either close off the pit or fix the ladder. Sorry about that.

Fun,but too many zombie hordes
I played this campaign over the weekend,it was nice to see environments that weren't copied from L4D/L4D2. The part with the specials in the glass exhibits was a nice touch.Had quite a few Tanks attack me. The only downsides were the near constant hordes in every map,it just made it really annoying trying to progress. The part with the lift was the worse with the endless hordes & specials who seemed to spawn really quickly or even in pairs on Normal. I feel there needs to be a balance of the number of hordes & also the number of supplies which were lacking in maps. Also the finale was pretty easy with places to camp until the rescue arrives. I liked how the campaign relates to the source of the infection & the various environments. Keep up the good work
I know there is a gauntlet in at least two of the maps. Ya, those tanks are pretty kewl and on a a randomizer so they show up in different cases :). I didn't create the map unfortunately I just repaired it after it was broken for about 3 years. I'm getting ready to go through all my campaigns this next couple or three weeks. I'll make sure there isn't some crazy stuff added I'm not aware of. That one elevator section I know is insane, which is why I left it. It's always been tough. Try playing it on my server lilasskicker1 and 2. Insane. :) Peace.

Love this mod,goes great with other sci-fi related mods. It works with the Arnie sound mod. Blood doesn't bother me. It's the rise of the machines,not a zombie apocalypse with this & I'll be back.

Creepy as @@@@ but it's cool. Very accurate & scary. Stands up when killed which is weird but eh it's dead so yeah. Please add more creatures for the specials, Judoon for the Charger,Ice Warriors for the Tank,Sontaren for The Jockey I feel would be great ideas.

Average but has potential
Good The balance of supplies & weapons was fine on normal,there seemed to be plenty of ammo piles around each map too. It wasn't confusing, with arrows pointing you in the right direction. No bugs or glitches while playing. Cons Some places seemed to be copied/pasted from the official campaigns which made it feel kind of bland. Also there was invisible models around the place which made it more annoying to navigate when you're fighting off the commons/specials & you seem to bump into an invisible table. The bots had worse issues trying to navigate through that. The models should be removed or at least made visible. Not really much of a high school like setting until the last part,the finale was pretty simple too. Aside from the cons it was interesting to play & I'm going to upload a video of my run. Looking forward to the new version you're working on.

This was a long detour...
The maps were nicely designed,no errors,glitches or pink/black areas. The atmosphere was good with the intro/outro. There seemed to be a balanced supply of weapons/ammo/throwables on normal realism when I played. Finale was interesting though the entire campaign was pretty challenging with lots of specials to fight with hordes. Only cons were the bots seemed to get stuck at certain places,especially ladders. Aside from that I'll be keeping this in my addons folder.
Wacky
This is an entertaining pack of mods which makes playing a map for fun with all the weird & wacky mods in the packs. My only problems are that some mods don't seem to work properly. The teletubbies infected seem to have a weird hitbox/disjointed sounds/black squares appear when you kill them. The cat flashlight makes it harder to see where you're going. Also the teletubby infected are abominations!!!. It would be better if you could pick which mods you'd like on while playing instead of the entire pack as some of the mods get kind of annoying after a while.
Game on
Each map felt unique & well designed. Interesting use of the train,but if you or the bots fall off it's very hard to catch up. Finale was difficult but not impossible,though there seemed to be a lack of supplies at the end for throwables. There were several parts with the purple black textures & errors being displayed,despite me using the content fix addons. Custom Tank model looks cool. The campaign itself felt balanced,it wasn't too difficult or too easy even with the large number of hordes. I'm keeping this map in my folder & I'll tackle Suicide Blitz 2 eventually.
Nintendon't
This was a fun campaign to try. The puzzles weren't so bad even if some were a bit confusing the first time round., Plenty of supplies in each map so it wasn't too hard to survive on normal. I enjoyed playing this on the N64 nice trip down memory lane. The only cons were the finale with the water which really slowed things down especially when you got Tanks/hordes after you it makes it challenging. Also I'm not sure if it was my mods but the ending crashing for me when we entered the rocket at the end,I'm not sure which version of the map I played,had this sitting in my addons for a long time. Invisible walls made navigating parts confusing,it needs maybe some hints. This was fun & I'll be trying it again some time.
Interesting
The campaign was very nicely designed but there were invisible walls,it felt kind of linear & empty to progress through both maps. The skybox seemed to be missing,also some parts were pretty confusing to what you're supposed to do. It felt kind of short finished it within 30 minutes. There seems to be a lot of hordes spawning when you grab the keys or skulls to finish the map. There were no problems with the nav mesh of the bots but this campaign needs some tweaking to make it feel less empty & pretty simple to clear. I hope you make other maps paying homage to other movies. Also there were no tiddies.....
Short but entertaining
This was a fun campaign,no errors or glitches while playing on single player. The environment was detailed, didn't look bland or have any problems. The trainyard theme is a nice idea. My only negatives were that the campaign is short,lack of events & strangely I only saw maybe 2 tanks while playing & only a couple at the finale,which was fun holding out till the train arrives. The bots did end up hanging on the edge of the cliffs but that's normal as their navy mesh is crap.

This looks awesome & its a great replacement for the Uzi. Only con is that the sounds doesn't sound right when firing. I can't really explain it.Guess I'll upload a video eventually.
I encountered this too. Screeching at the end whenever I stop firing. The Silenced SMG variant doesn't have this.
Another one 4 my collection!!
This is a very cool map & was fun to try out. I liked the reference to 2001:Space Odyssey with the monolith. The map itself had no errors or glitches when I played with me & the bots. But like always they tend to do stupid things. Plenty of attention to detail,part of the tomb reminds me of the film Alien VS Predator,but with more corpses. The only downside was at the finale when all the colours went all weird & it felt distracting when I'm trying to shoot infected.Also the supplies felt lacking at the end. The ending was cool with how the survivors escaped.
Pack your bags..
The environments are unique,like the interior of the ships. The design of the map wasn't just randomly places objects etc.It wasn't too tedious to navigate though some areas were confusing to work out where to go next. Pretty challenging even on normal but the balance of supplies was fine for me to complete solo with bots. A few areas seem to have invisible barriers which prevented me from shooting the infected.,it was like there was an invisible fence between them & the survivors. The finale was pretty simple to just camp up on the roof & shoot everything in sight but I like how the rescue was a hot air balloon,that was a nice touch.
A entertaining map
I enjoyed playing through this campaign,it was a nice touch with the burning buildings & the details for each map was well done. It was pretty challenging to reach the end but I felt the supplies were balanced out & there seemed to be plenty of weapons scattered about. My only problems I had were at the finale, the bots seems to just get swept off the roof by the wind,it also happened to me a few times.Aside from that it was great.

Mission complete!!!
I loved the Metal Slugs as a kid & spent hours in the arcade playing them,it's great to hear the familiar music from my childhood. If you could add more music from the series or possibly characters that would make it even more enjoyable. If I had the time I'd love to make a campaign based on Metal Slug for L4D2.
The future isn't bright...
This was an enjoyable but short campaign.I heard good things about this series from my friends who played each one so I decided to give it a try. There wasn't any missing textures,glitches or problems with the environment. The only downsides were that it was a pretty short experience & the finale was disappointing,but I understand that there's are sequels which I'm going to try out next.

Bad: The bots have trouble navigating through some parts of the map,especially the finale where they either stay on the ladders or try to jump over barricades.
The finale is very difficult & frustrating,it's one long trek through a never ending horde with specials on your back. It took me a lot of attempts to finish with myself & bots. Managed to reach the helicopter before a Tank punched a bot off the ledge to their death.
The finale needs some adjustments to make it less frustrating,maybe add more bile jars or other supplies. Its awkward searching the tents to see if there's anything when you got hordes coming after you.
It was fun to try & I'll give it another go sometime.Adding a video of my run once I have some time. Great work.

Good: A map with a moving train & layouts.
The conductor Tank was a nice touch.
There were no errors or glitches.
Bad: The raft part was very frustrating,even on normal the commons kept breaking it killing the team. It would be good if you could either repair the raft or have some throwables included to keep the commons off your back.
It felt pretty short & wasn't much of a challenge,aside from the raft breaking & causing me to restart.
The radio didn't have an outline to begin the finale.
This was a lot of fun to try & I'll be keeping this in my addons folders.
Lots of orange
Good: Crazy & weird maze like maps.Also plenty of places to explore.
Balanced supplies.
No bugs,glitches or any missing textures in any of the maps.
I played in normal wasn't too hard or too easy.
Bad: It felt very short for a campaign,finished it pretty quickly.
Bots seems to stop following you at the finale,after you get the message to escape.They just stood by the tower & kept fighting the hordes until they died.
Aside from that I'm keeping this map in my addons folder & probably play it again sometime.

Predators are one of the coolest looking aliens in film,next to the Xenomorphs. This is great to have along with Alien related mods.
Interesting concept
This is a fun survivor map & it makes a change from just doing survival. I tried this with bots,it was difficult but playable.
Damn,it's challenging
Good: I've heard about this abandoned project from TRS,was curious to try it out.
No errors or glitches while I played.
Interesting events like the dam filling with water.
Supplies were balanced.
Bad: Hordes seem to more numerous than usual,the endless horde at the end was the worst part. It took several attempts to reach the rescue vehicle.
The final part with the dam etc was a nice touch but the only way I was able to finish it was using a couple of bile bombs,some adrenaline & luck since I was playing with bots & they're useless.
I'll add my video of me doing a run,it's weird that this was never finished but I'm glad it's now playable,good work.

Good: Lots of places to explore.
Supplies are plentiful when I played on normal.
Optional paths.
Custom music.
Puzzles & a mix of scavenge.
Bad: The repeat of just finding keys to unlock doors to progress as well as collect cans felt really tedious after a while. I do enjoy maps with puzzles/mazes but each map felt very similar in that regard,it also made it drag on longer than it should.
Finished the entire campaign in 2hrs48mins in total.
Also each switch I hit seemed to spawned a horde right in the room I was in or just outside it.
The bots navigation seemed really messed up,sometimes they got stuck on ladders or just walked into hazards like fire or the steam from pipes.
The part with the tram was frustrating,I get the rails are electrified but slowing draining your health was just annoying.
The finale was also frustrating with the cans being really spaced out & underground.
I like playing custom maps,this was entertaining but the parts I mentioned sort of reduced the experience for me.I'll keep it in my addons but it needs some polish.

A well made map without any errors.

Spawns of the commons & specials worked fine with no problems,though its funny to see them spawn & get get stuck.
The finale was good.

The bots seem to have trouble navigating the part where you turn off the alarm & at the end when you run to the train.

Zombies in China!?
It has some interesting areas,such as the plane at the beginning & The Great Wall. There were no errors & the map was well made. The finale was a nice change from the usual ones. It was quite a challenge sliding around the ice collecting fireworks to free the ship. The only problems were the fireworks seemed to have weird physics when you try to place them near the spots to melt the ice,they would slide or bounce around sometimes falling into the water. Which I found out there's only a limited supply of them,would be good if they respawned or if there was another box of them in the area. Also on single player,the bots seem to just stand there when the fireworks go off so they end up taking damage & incapping themselves,I finished the campaign by myself as they kept taking damage from them.It felt a bit short but the map is a lot of fun. A great campaign which I'll be replaying again.
I like it
Birkin's G forms creeped me out when I played RE2 & this is great as a replacement for the Charger. His other forms would be cool to see in L4D2 or replacing the sounds from various forms.
Average
:Good: Another map based in another country. No errors on textures. Bad: It seems pretty bland with big open spaces & not much else there. Pretty easy to finish this campaign in single player. I had an issue where the switch for the 2nd map didn't work at all. I flipped a switch in the area but it did nothing but call an endless horde which killed my team. A bit of polish would make this map a 5 star.

Rorschachs's journal 1985,last night a Comedian died... then there was a zombie apocalypse..... I love the graphic novel,pity the film was kind of average. Great work & hope you port more Watchmen things to L4D2.

I loved the Power Rangers shows as a kid,this is great to have in L4D2. I hope you release more Power Ranged related mods such as the weapons or the various types over the years.

Entertaining
A well balanced map with plenty of supplies throughout. It's a pretty big area to explore though you can get lost sometimes. Only problems were the bots occasionally got stuck in some places,died to the fire & they seem to have trouble getting into the escape helicopter at the end of the finale which is pretty tricky at first. Good work & I hope you make a new map in the future.
Mama-mia
Good: It's-a-me Mario themed map.
Takes me back to playing the game as a kid with the Mario game mechanics.
Using the mods to make the infected into enemies from the game adds a nice touch when playing this.
Pipes & piranha plants are in this.
Bad: The jumping parts seem to be a bit frustrating with the bots either missing the jump completely or they hang in mid-air.
The ending was a bit weird,had hoped for a similar thing like when you beat Bowser you reach the end with Peach.
It's a fun campaign, I like to replay it every so often.Only improvements would be maybe if you could add in the music or sounds from the game. e.g Jumping sound or the stage music.

It's too dark to see anything,even with the flashlight it's hard to see switches etc.

I had fun playing it but it did seem to drag on.I hope you make more alien related maps in the future.

Dual wielding magnums is awesome,helps with some campaigns that only have pistols in them.
Lots of maps but entertaining.
Good HL atmosphere & environments to travel across. Different events & a finale. Balanced supplies so it didn't feel too easy or challenging. Bad Some maps felt too short & it doesn't feel necessary to separate then into more than 5 maps. Bots seem to get stuck on ladders or fall to their deaths. The jumping sections,they felt awkward to navigate with bots. The switch were you raise the car sometimes incaps you or bots for no reason. It's a well made map that I enjoyed playing.
Fun but can be bloody frustrating
Good The spooky atmosphere,the moors are scary at night. Custom music & Tank skin. Voices for events such as the finale. Makes a change from another town in the states. Bad The event where you need to get the dog food seems a bit silly,why would a dogs barking set off a horde? Supplies seem to be either plentiful or really limited on some maps. The finale I felt there needed more supplies,there were barely any kits or throwables. The map thats a massive maze felt really long & tedious to reach the safehouse,nice concept but it was confusing to navigate.Also the finale the bots navmesh seems to be messed up they didn't follow me to the escape boat,they just stood there while I ran.
Good but needs some polish
I'm a huge fan of Duke Nukem & played DN3D like crazy back in '96. It's great to see a L4D2 port of one of my favourite FPS ever,despite DNF being terrible. I like how it's close to the original with the layout & secrets included that was a nice touch. I felt the only downsides are that it's too short.Also its unfinished at the end with the sub the credits don't roll. Also with the switches there shouldn't really be an never ending horde it makes it more annoying to reach the safehouses with infected blocking you from climbing ladders & progressing. It felt pretty quiet going through the map with the lack of music,if you could add in the sounds from the game it would be much better & give a better atmosphere of it being like DN3D. The spinning gears really disorientate you when you're trying to jump,it would be better if they didn't spin. I hope you make more maps based on DN3D in the future.
School's out, for the outbreak
Good
The various panic events,I liked the idea of collecting supplies,destroying car engines & the vaccines.
Areas were detailed & it was challenging but entertaining to play.
Custom models for infected.
Bad The water areas really slowed down progress which was made worse when Tanks spawn in those sections or Witches.
It was pretty confusing to find the way around & the bots had trouble navigating a few places which caused them to get stuck into things like the bus in the finale.
The part where you need an axe to cut the cable,why can't you use the axe you already have on you if you come across one?
Sometimes a panic event would start even before we got to it,such as the part with the jail,the horde came before we got near.
Aside from that great work.
I like big guns & cannot lie.
These weapons are well designed & it goes well with the Alucard skin. Let God sort them out.
Who wants some more?
I'm a big fan of the Duke Nukem series since the original side scrolling games. I loved the look of the pistols in Duke Forever & its great to be able to use them in campaigns. I hope you release other Duke weapons in the future like the Ripper or Freezethrower.

Great music for the Tank,works great when you have a team of Duke Nukem for the survivors too. Would be great if you could add in Dukes one liners for the Tank.
Nostalgia
I'm a huge fan of the Crash Bandicoot games owning nearly every one that was released on the PS1/2 aside from the most recent titles. The maps & the sounds effects from the game were a nice touch,the only problem I had was with the finale,I was solo with bots & I couldn't hit all the ! boxes to finish it,feels almost impossible without needing human controlled players instead of bots.
Great work
Like with the other maps,this is great recreation of RE2,the easter eggs were a nice touch. Only problems I had was the plant tendrils knocking me & the bots off the ladder in the lab & when you go down the lift to the lab the Tank sometimes spawns on top of the train or clips through it.

The happiest place in an zombie apocalypse
It's a well made campaign without any glitches or bugs.The part where you move along the rides is a nice touch. The campaign wasn't too difficult & well balanced.
Weird but fun
It's an entertaining map,but it's really confusing when you're wandering around looking for items in the wide open areas or the other world maps which are hard to spot in the dark. The maps had a creepy atmosphere to it but like the other Silent Hill map its too dark to see anything around you. Also the map where the survivors are in the lab seems to have various glitches.First I couldn't open the door to the safe room, despite having the key card ; the infected seem to become invisible as you progress further into the lab,all I could see was their shadows or hear them which makes them hard to shoot. The finale was really strange & confusing but it was pretty easy. Overall I enjoyed it but the maps with the custom infected/weapons it needs some tweaking.

Good I'm a huge fan of Doom,was the first FPS I ever played back in the day. I've been looking for L4D2 maps that are recreations of classic FPS of my youth. The design was well done,no glitches/bugs while playing. Bad It's too short,bots don't grab weapons/items at the start,also the end was kind of disappointing, This is a good start,but it would be better with more than 1 map & having more of a challenge to it.
Try the Tour
A fun map with interesting places to explore,I liked the design of the map. Only downside was that the resources felt limited at the start,barely saw any weapons etc while wandering around.
I wanted it to kind of ramp up slowly so you have to use pistols a little more than the average campaign. It's also possible you may have missed some gun upgrades and bombs that were a little bit hidden.
I don't hate mountains
A very well made custom campaign, no glitches or bugs, though it crashed once when I reached the escape plane at the end, but that may be from me using lots of mods. I'll test it out in vanilla a few times to make sure. The finale was pretty tough with up to 4 Tanks spawning while we're holding out for the plane on normal ,but I like a challenge.
Zombies, why'd it have to be zombies?
The roller coaster part was a nice touch to the campaign. The campaign was well balanced,entertaining & different, only problems I had were the bots getting stuck at the finale when you got to escape.
Difficult but a fun campaign
It was a fun journey through an infected Japan. Downsides were the bots had trouble navigating the map on occasion. Errors on some parts of the maps,despite me having the missing content fix added. The finale is pretty tricky now that you can't just collect the cans beforehand,the challenge was enjoyable even with the spawning Tanks every few minutes. Good work, but I feel some balance is needed at the finale, maybe more health kits & also less spawning Tanks.

Good idea for a campaign
It's a good concept to have a backwards campaign,but there needs to be fixes for the textures & also the bots had a habit of getting stuck on ladders,aside from that it was fun to play.

Pros:
Resident Evil atmosphere
More entertaining than the actual film,which I feel was ruined.
Music fits the map.
The laser trap was a nice touch,though with bots they always die inside.
Cons: The bots occasionally clip through the train or get stuck in a few areas & I get left behind,usually happened where you need to reboot the Red Queen & have to run the gauntlet through the tunnels.

Great trip down memory lane for RE fans.
This map & side A is a well made recreation of both characters scenarios in RE2, its been a very long time since I've played the original game,I still remember most of where everything is &amp;amp; what to do with the items. Running around the station avoiding the Tyrant while grabbing items was really fun back in the day, this map gives a similar feeling. Using the music faithful to the original & the locations was a nice touch. Only downside was the missing textures in some areas &amp;amp; also the problem where the bots or myself would fall through the floor in some lifts sometimes,which caused a few frustrating restarts. If there was a mod to turn the Tank into the Tyrant or the Super Tyrant form it would make the map more faithful to the original. That creature was the scariest thing in the RE series next to the Nemesis.

Well it is really hard the first day but you learn new stuff every day and the thing gets easier. There are a bunch of tutorials on internet, I learn almost everything from a guy called TopHattWaffle, and was difficult because I speak spanish xD. RE3 campaign took me about 8 months working every day

You're welcome, I've only noticed missing textures on a few custom maps,I tried using the missing content fix mod before but it didn't always work for me. Question for you about modding & creating custom maps. How difficult is it to create a map based on RE & how long did it take you? I would like to make my own RE themed custom map eventually, maybe RE Gun Survivor which was a FPS RE game which was fun, with multiple paths though it was a bit short.Just finding the time to do it is going to be tricky working full time & stuff. I'm curious to how people make custom maps & stuff.

Hi, thanks for replying to my review. in response to your question,no I'm not using a pirated version of L4D2, I was having problems with missing textures so I uninstalled the game then reinstalled it as a solution which seemed to fix the issue. I did a run of Side A/B this weekend & I didn't see any missing textures this time around.

It's fun shooting zombies on a ship.
Good Plenty of places to explore. Good balance of supplies. Makes a change from just trying to escape a city etc like other custom maps. The map is a decent challenge to complete, not too easy, not too difficult. Bad Some parts of the ship you can clip/fall through it,or bots get stuck in the walls.I did end up clipping through the lifeboat at the end before.
