PLEASE, READ THIS DESCRIPTION FIRST!!!
Expect some new stuff.
There are some importante things you should know even before you subscribe or download this campaign, so we can save a lot of our precious time. Its a themed campaign, mostly based on vampyric stuff, that i made using only the tools provide by the L4D2 based files. Everything is from the base game, only used in diferent ways.
Exploration is the key.
Its a really hard campaign. There are only ONE first aid kit on all the safe roons. If you are okay with that and still wanna play, okay. If not, dont even lose your time to come here and tell me something that i already know. Yet, in every map, there are FIVE or even SIX first aid kits, scatered all over the maps. Why i did that? To push the gameplay to a exploration reward type. That can drive the player to a secret room with lots of weapons and kits, or kill you instantly on a trap.
Hints and tips.
To avoid these traps, keep a eye on notes, that can contain information about traps, secrets, history and also help you trough the way to safe house. The notes have some blue shine light above then. Its realy hard to miss when you play patiently and trying to enjoying.
Too many tanks.
There are lots of tanks. I put at least one in each map. There are others with two, and other with three. The last one i'll let you find by yourself. Also, there are so many ways to fight the tanks. Lots of weapons scatered trough the maps.
So many ways to die.
The traps that i put in the first version of this map worked fine just fine, the only problem is that if you fell on a trap, youre lost. I played with my friends on expert realism and i did manage to go until the end, where the boss battle was also a little bit rough. And we took almost four hours to finish. Its hard? Of course it is. Has to be. Its almost impossible to be killed by some traps, except the ones that i really had to leave lethal. There are no respawn points, so, if you die, just move on and try again. Also, i put many defibrilators in all maps.
No ammo at all.
I didnt put ammo piles. Excet in one map. This push the player for a more scavenged way style, where you will aways have to think about wich weapon you should take or leave.
Yeah, some crazy stuff can happen while you play, but know that i tested this maps so many times that i dream with diferent bugs every night. I spended almost five years to make this campaign. Its around 700 hours of work and test. Well... i hope you guys enjoy this campaign.
