This is a Half-Life Source map port, made as I started learning Hammer. Tried to create my original map, but took the entire week to make one small one that's playable, so I've decided to try with premade map. This tool was terrible, ngl, really hope to have Hammer++ supporting L4D2 in the future.
The campaign contain 4 maps, named BlackMesa_Undertow01 -> 04, take roughly 40 minute to finish, supporting only the campaign mode atm.
After reviewing the layout several chapters that wouldn't make a very fun experience, I've decided to skip those and make only a few of them to be playable, with minimal brush work. Over the original, the map has been given different lighting/time of day, with some use of particle effects. Little Source model were used.
[color=#ff7e14]Map 1 start at Power Up, where the survivor has entered the facility through the gate and must now restart the power generator at the basement, before getting back up to open the gate and get into the safe room.
Map 2 start slightly after On A Rail, as you get into the elevator down to Ichythosaur's pool. Water wont insta-kill you here, so try and walk to one of the two underwater door and get back up to the surface.
Map 3 start at Questionable Ethics, right after Residue Proccessing, another chapter I skipped because of the maze-like layout and a lot of platforming, which the bot will definitely **** up. In this map the survivors must destroy a bunch of computer to unlock the main gate. There will be a counter on top of the screen utilizing Scavenge's HUD element.
Map 4 is the finale, with two different escape vehicle that will be pick at random, at Surface Tension's dam, where you will use the radar to scan for an escape route before boarding either a Boat or a Helicopter to escape. Pay attention and you'll know which one of the vehicle were chosen.[/color]
