This map best ever and gameplay was so great, But finale was too difficult for solo player im have to invite my sister come to help finish this game.Honestly its was fun and better than original and im like ferris wheel its so beautiful.

Pain Carnival
There is a lot more to see in this version of Dark Carnival if you can survive. The bot players always have a terrible time on the roller coaster tracks even in the original campaign. It's a total reimagining of Dark Carnival. There are a lot more props and places to explore. This version seemed like it was about five times more difficult than the original campaign. That's probably because I didn't know exactly where to go or what to do. Most of the locations looked completely different. The finale was so difficult. It's the equivalent of having to turn on more than five generators while being pummeled by an endless horde of zombies. The difference is that you're setting off fireworks instead of activating generators to get attention from the pilot in the helicopter. The helicopter arrives at a completely different location.

Dark Carnival Ultimate Edition
An upgraded version of the classic official map, almost perfect in all aspects, showing the great talent of community mappers. I'd regard this as one of the best designed addon campaigns.

Wow. Just wow. This campaign is something else. The layout, the infected spawn points.... Wow. There aren't enough words in the english language to describe how fucking dogshit this fucking horrible shitty ass fucking campaign is. This is the last time I trust a comment section. I would suggest every single one of you who left a positive review/comment on this to first: 1. Get a CAT scan because there has to be something wrong with your brain for you to do something so fucking stupid. 2. To get your reproductive organs removed because we do not need more braindead idiots like you on this planet, only 1 of you is already too much. First off what the fuck is up with the fucking tank spawn spots? Why did you specifically choose spawn points where we get fucking butt fucked the second he spawns?? Why is it always around a corner? Fucking dick. And don't get me started on the 3rd map. How the fuck are we supposed to get past the rollercoaster when there are so many fucking zombies (who probably have more braincells than the rest of you brainlets who left positive feedback). I was more dissapointed when I couldn't ride the rollercoaster, than when I found out santa isnt real. Fuck you for crushing my dreams. And what is up with the layout of the maps? Half of the time I had no fucking clue where I was supposed to be going, so I ended up fucking dying. If you don't want to lose all your brainells, I suggest not playing this fucking ass campaign. I also can't believe one of you said that this is better than the original. I hope you realize that I am now suicidal because of you. I no longer have hope for humanity.

Probably you're just not good at playing L4D2. If you complained on a campaign like this, probably you would scream to death when playing the old Silent Hill campaign, or other custom campaigns with much higher difficulty. Train more, & when you get better at playing this game, hopefully you can finish this campaign without problem.

Very well remix version of "Dark Carnival".
Compared with the original Dark Carnival, the storyline of this campaign isn't changed too much, but more details is added in this campaign, espectially the ferris wheel in chapter4 and concert in finale, which are my favorite parts.^^ Overall this is very fun campaign, design is really well, and no glitches in this campaign.^^ Nice work!^^

I just played the latest version--and I had a great time playing! I like it more than the original Dark Carnival!! :D I had no problems through the campaign (I played it on single player) and I suggest all give it a try! (Note: I also have an earlier version from 2018--and I really liked that version, too!) I recommend any version of this campaign!

Fantastic.
Very good campaign. No issues. Played on my server. I have 2 questions though. 1-when leaving the safe room on the final, There is a pictograph to the left of the door switch. it shows the Peanut guy X 5 = Helicopter ? does that mean the helicopter comes if you find 5 Peanut guys? I found 4 but cannot find the 5th. 2-What is the point of the gold coin in the secret location in the final? I grab the coin and the magic sound plays but nothing seems to happen. P.S. the final is not broken. at least not when I play. I play with a few addons. Special Infected. Pscychotic witch. Multiple witches. tank color. etc. No issues at all.

I found all the coins. It wasn't easy alone. LOL. Nice extended ending. Does that ending hint that you'll be re-doing swamp fever?

You need to find all 5 coins across all 5 levels (1 on each map). Doing so will unlock a secret ending!

Now this, is how Dark Carnival should've been. Well done. Repurposed wasted dialogue, and overhauled Dark Carnival to being a unique campaign instead of a classic L4D style campaign. No issues encountered, seriously, go play this, 10/10.

How Dark Carnival should have been
This is version is more in depth than the official campaign,I don't get why Valve didn't use more elements from this. The part with the monorail,ferris wheel were a nice touch to the carnival along with the tunnel of love. The park looks much grittier & looks pretty different. I liked the finale,it was a challenge even on normal/realism with the instructions given from collecting the can,turning up the volume to 11. The original finale felt pretty simple in comparison.

a hard but fun twist
this was a fun but also a very hard map I do love the different things this map have you do and the final was very fun to booth. there was no cheap deaths and I always knew where to go you have to try very hard to get lost or not pay attention to your Surroundings the bots never got stuck. no bugs or glitches. I gave this a 4 out of 5 the map was challenging but also fair and the final was a lot of fun. Recommended difficulty Easy/Normal. (the maps is fun but if you're not paying attention to yourself or others it can be hard to deal with the horde.) play it at least once

What can I say except excellent work, Dark Carnival happens to be my favourite map but have seriously over played it so this was a refreshing to see an extension of it, love the many areas you have added although sometimes slightly confusing at times but all part of the fun and the ending was a nice surprise again love the many tasks you have to complete and taking away the towers I thought was a mistake but turns out to be much better, I would have loved a little run around on the mono rail and the big wheel but I guess that's pushing it lol, I didn't find any bugs only played once will keep you posted also plays good on easy by yourself.again well done and thanks for a brilliant map extension first class :)

Glad you enjoyed it! By the towers I'm assuming you're referring to the tall buildings on the stadium finale. The original version of the map actually didn't have those towers, they were added later (you can see this by looking at Valve's Dark Carnival 4 -- They aren't there) so I was simply restoring the map to its original form. As for the Ferris Wheel, you actually can ride it! It's up to you to figure out how... :^)
