      Classic

Decent design, but most areas look very samey and the assets aren't attracting at all. The final map don't have such problems.

Nice and fun map to enjoy

The campaign is good. There are places to explore, & there are some alternative paths leading to the right path. There is no error on bot navigation & the campaign works well to the end. The supplies are also enough.
      .
The only problem is, for a 4-map campaign, this campaign seems too short. I enjoyed walking until finally I realized that I proceeded to the last map, the arena. It took me about 42 mins in a relaxing play on my first play. If someone does it in a rush, maybe he can take less than 30 mins. The finale is not difficult if the players find a right place to defend until the rescue arrives :) .
      .
In overalls, this campaign is enjoyable & good to play for fun. I'll keep this to play with friends later :) . Good job.

Overall Generic, Great Finale, Survival Broken

Generic campaign with a great finale setting. The biggest problem is that survival mode in the last map is utterly broken. No medkits, weapons, ammo, nothing. Have to do it single-pistol only. Also has missing objects with invisible walls where the objects should be. Would be better off with no survival maps than with them broken.

good old fashioned quality long campaign!

Not much I am willing to say about this, mainly because I'd rather people experience it for themselves.
What I'll say for now is if you've been holding out on downloading a campaign now's a good time!
This campaign takes me back to the good old days of the first Left 4 Dead when campaigns were long but also great.
You don't see a lot of that done well together any more, so don't miss out on this campaign!

      Game On

      PROS
      Good atmosphere
      Finale arena was real cool.
Dynamic layout- multiple ways to get where you're going.

      CONS
In the arena, it doesn't show where the radio is until you get real close.
At one point in Map 3, a bot fell off, caught the ledge, but something caused it to just fall anyway.
Bots will jump off lift sometimes, making you ride it back down and try again.

      CONCLUSION
Pretty fun. Good city layout, and pretty dynamic- a few times I chose a route, later to see arrows coming from another way, which will make subsequent playthroughs just as fun. The arena is set up nicely, but like others have said, the tank placements do make it a bit easy. Good map that plays as well as an original campaign, and is about as difficult.

      Pros:

      Custom poster

      Bit of an intro

      Good Direction

      Good AI

      Plenty of space to explore

Great set up for finale with ammo, guns, turret (though I don’t like turrets) and design

      No glitches found

      Cons:

Tank somehow got stuck inside of a police car in the first map.

The finale is a tiny bit easy seeing as how you can really just sit on the roof where the helicopter comes to get you and kill zombies as they try to climb up the ladder.

One of my AI just wandered away for quite a while. He came back, but it was weird.

No tank music during finale. Like one of the reviewers said, though, they’re far away and easy to spot before they get close so it’s not a huge deal.

      Some places look very similar.

      Conclusion:

Overall it’s a great campaign with just the right difficulty, good layout and nice length. It won’t blow you away, but it’s a fun ride.

      Pros:

A short campaign, not too challenging, but fun.
Windy route over rooftops and urban setting.
Supplies a plenty - probably too much (also cons)
Haven't detected any major game play bugs.

      Cons:

Not many - if you like a short, not-too-challenging campaign in an urban setting.
      Supplies were a bit over-abundant.
No tank music in finale; but the tank often approaches from far off and is not too hard to spot.

      Conclusion:

Occasionally a game should be shorter, fun, and not too challenging.
This game is that, and offers some winding paths over an urban setting to a stadium finale.
Overall I enjoy it very much, and have found few gameplay bugs or problems.

      8.5

      Pros:

      - Clear directions and instructions
      - No major bugs
      - Plenty of pipes, mollies ect
      - Different routes
      - Plenty of places to explore
      - Some dialogue, explaining where to go
      - Bot navigation
      - Elevator on the roof
      - Horde events were well placed

      Cons:

      - Not many shotguns or magnums until finale
      - Map length, too short
      - Too much walking across the roofs
      - Tanks find t difficult to reach survivors in the finale due to all of the obstacles
      - Most places looked the same

      Conclusion:

Decent campaign, despite being short it's still enjoyable! Although I kept getting the feeling i'd already been in some places due to the similar environment.

      8.2

      Pros:

      + Layout design
+ Horde event's exciting(long walk to turn off the alarm)
      + Abundant supplies
      + Finale was simple&clear&easy
      + No significant bugs

      Cons:

      - All those walk on the roofs
      - Tanks were too easy to beat at the finale due to players' advantage of the terrain

      Conclusion:

No significant cons and no significant cons, simple and standard L4D2 game play.

      Pros:

      + Nice Design!
      + Good Amount of Supplies!
      + Cool Finale!
      + Not Difficult! But...*
      + It's Reaaaaally Fun!! XD
+ I don't know why, but the finale is challenging!

      Cons:

      - *Too Easy
      - Too Short...although it was a 4 Map Campaign...
      - No TAANK BGM played during the finale...so I didn't got any warning about incoming Tank
      - No Story :(

      Conclusion:

Good for those who need a short campaign with challenging finale! XD

      Pros:

      + Nice level design.
      + Good horde events.
      + Finale was really challenging.
+ AI navigation was working quite good.
      + Good spread of supplies.
      + Many weapons to use.
+ Good feeling through the campaign.
      + Included some creative areas.
+ Good for people that want to play a quick game.
+ All in all fluent gameplay.

      Cons:

      - No tank music was playing when tanks appeared in the finale.
      - No tanks during campaign, except in the finale.
      - Same Ai navigation problems.
      - No use of dialogues.
      - Short campaign ~ 25 to 30 minutes.
      - The first map was designed like No Mercy campaign.
      - Some horde events were not really necessary.
      - Some minor glitches and bugs.
      - Too early a tier 2 weapon available.
      - To some extent some areas were too dark aswell.
      - The finale ground-textures were in a crappy resolution.

      Conclusion:

All in all this was a short, but good campaign. I didn't really enjoy it, but that's just because I'm not in a good mood today, but this will not have an effect on my rating. It was designed pretty well in some areas and it also had some nice horde events too. But as I said, I was missing tanks during the gameplay! Score ' 70 '. Changeable as always.

      Pros:

      Solid construction throughout.
Good lighting and details in most parts.
Entertaining roof levels (but would be difficult in versus).
      Good use of directional hints.
Van event is a nice throwback to Dead Air.

      Cons:

Streetlamps in the arena look very awkward. There must be a better prop for this.
Some apartment interior hallways are very bland, and seem untouched by the apocalypse.
Exploded tanker in the middle of the street, but the stores on both sides are prestine. Would a fireball explosion not damaged and burnt them?

      Conclusion:

There is solid gameplay experience to be had here. Versus would be quite difficult on the rooftop levels, since there are so many death charge spots on the sloped rooftops.
Everything seems relatively consistent in quality with the exception of odd streetlamps bolted into the arena grass, and disconitnuity with distruction and surprisingly clean hallways.
      I would recommend the following:

Make some rooms and interiors unique from others to make them stand out. There is a cookie-cutter effect here with so many rooms that look identical.

Replace the arena streetlamps with another, more appropriate lighting prop. There must be something good in the Dark Carnival arena finale that can be used.

Destroy and burn the buildings next to the shreaded fuel truck - a bit of a visual narrative to let you know that there was a big explosion here.

Perhaps make one building and its interiors on fire to add an extra dynamic and let it stand out from the others.

      6.5

      Pros:

Not a lot of navigation errors.

Not to long, not to short.

      Cons:

The intro video flows very badly. Try making the camera move more slowly.

Avoid using invisible walls. Instead make it obvious that "a-big-object" is blocking the way (and then use an invisible wall inside of the object).

Props being placed inside of other props, clipping.

Parts of the campaign are very flat. Try introducing more height differences.

Room, corridor, room, corridor. Try breaking the monotony by creating other kind of environments.

Rooftops. They totally destroy all balance in versus. One charger and the survivors has lost one (if not all) of their members.

Curious: why use street lamps instead of floodlights at the stadium? They look out of place.

      Conclusion:

The biggest annoyance was all the repetition of spaces. The most entertaining aspect was the travel over the roofs. The roofs didn't work in versus. In campaign they worked fine. They forced the survivors to stay cautious, and work together in order to survive.

      8.7

      Pros:

Long enough to be challenging but short enough to stave off frustration.
Very challenging, even on easy mode.

      Cons:

Special infected appear a little too often.

      Conclusion:

An over-all excellent map. Good for both newbies and expierenced players.

      7.1

      Pros:

      Nice use of props
Decent number of hoards and uncommons
Good campaign for versus and survival

      Cons:

      Hardly any tanks
Tank music in finale didnt play
You can fall off the elevator on the third chapter
      A bit too short
Bots/AI get lost when being attacked by Charger, Hunter etc.

      Conclusion:

A nice map and very fun to play but in the end it is too easy on Single Player as The Enemy | said and a few bugs can be fixed. 71/100 :)

      8.5

      Pros:

      Multiple-ish paths
      Riot Uncommon zombie seems plausible
      Maps are easy to understand
Very polished, no FPS issues whatsoever
Has a really good potential as Versus

      Cons:

First running crescendo is waaayyy long
      Too easy on Single Player
      Almost no Tanks
Tank music in the finale didn't play

      Conclusion:

Really liked this. Has a lot paths and lot of holdouts in the finale. Unfortunately it's too easy on Single Player, but must be really fun to play on Versus.

End of results.
