This project is a tech demo to see just how far the Source engine can be pushed in terms of accurate recreation of more modern games. As such, it is not designed like a usual Left 4 Dead campaign - The intention was to accurately recreate Resident Evil 7's level design in Source. The campaign map features a visually faithful recreation of Resident Evil 7's outside areas, including a rather ominous view of the infamous Baker Manor and a fully accessible Guesthouse. The survival maps feature a more traditional Left 4 Dead experience - hold out against the hordes of infected on the porch of the manor or fight for survival as long as you can in the iconic Guesthouse! As this is intended to be a tech demo, the campaign itself is very limited. It is not intended to be played like the usual Left 4 Dead campaigns, the emphasis of this project is on the visuals and recreational design. The original author contacted me on Friday January 21 to upload this. It is also available in the workshop as of today.
