Description
This version of Silent Hill 1 by Leafo will be continuation of what PopTheseFools has started. From now on, I'm taking over the campaign and will provide you with active updates, so if you're still subscribed to his or any other versions unsubscribe before trying this one.
My goal is to keep the campaign alive by providing updates to fix existing and arising problems, while preserving the campaign overall to be as close to what it originally was, so your feedback is invaluable. With this release, I push fixes to most problems I'm aware of. Be sure to report whatever I may have missed. Check out the changelog if you're interested.
Silent Hill campaign is based on the game of the same name on PS1.
Warning: This is a very long campaign with dark and foggy envienronment, containing puzzles. There are 12 chapters and 4 random endings. A full average walkthrough may take up to 3 hours to complete from start to finish.
If you've never played original Silent Hill game on PS1, I suggest starting on Normal or Advanced difficulty at best, since it's natural to get lost here. Having someone in the team, who played the original game will provide huge advantage, since navigation, item spawns and puzzles are mostly the same.

Starts impressive, then becomes harder and harder. So far so good, that's the way games are made, but this goes too far. It got extremely hard in the last maps, even on the easiest possible difficulty level. I got lost and wasted a lot of time searching for something to do, instead of having fun, like I hoped. Easy means easy, is that a difficult concept to understand? Look it up in the dictionary. "Easy". That means zero deaths and never getting lost. If the game instructor would guide survivors every little step of the way, the campaign would deserve a 9. And if traps would be avoidable without dying first and knowing what to expect, the campaign would deserve a 10. Anyway, it's amazing how much work and customizations were put into this. ð
The survivors take the road north from Liberty Mall, only to run low on supplies several days into the journey. Scavenging one more abandoned mall should be easy enough, but something deep within plans to give them more than they bargain...
