Description
"What if all items can glow in different colors & the glows are visible even from afar?" This random idea suddenly came out when I updated a new feature on my "Throwable Melee" that made the melee glow. & so, this mod was made out of the blue 😆 So, this mod only triggers glows on usable items including weapons. Each item type has different color. Here's the details: Color Items White - Ammo piles - Upgrade ammo packs - Melee - Chainsaw Purple - Laser Sight Green - First aid kit - Defib - Pills - Adrenaline Light Blue - Pipe bomb - Molotov - Bile bomb Yellow - T1 guns & pistols Red - T2 guns, m60 & GL List of features available on "custom item glow.txt": 1. glow_radius: This controls how far the glow will be visible. Modify this in case if you want to reduce the radius to maintain the balance of the game. Min value= 50 (melee range), max= 1000 (you can see some tiny items glowing like those on the image previews). Simple mechanisms on this mod: - Custom item glow is triggered when a player spawns, & when a player dies. - Special infected's & tank's deaths can also trigger item glow. - Custom item glow is visible from afar, & it bypasses wall. So, you can see them even from behind a wall. So with this mod, you can focus on finishing a campaign & take less time to explore areas for items. NOTES: - A known bug: Glows on item spawns that can be returned to the spawn spots (the L4D2 auto return mechanisms when picking different weapons & then the dropped weapon returns to the item spawn spots) won't disappear.
