Really fun and beautiful campaign... until finale.... a wasted potential

      Pros:
All Four maps are really beautiful
Random Path in map 1 and 2 actually pretty good, have some replay value
Maps are large, with some item scatter around, pretty rewarding for the curious player who loves explore
While the layout seem confusing but surprisingly navigatable

      Cons:
The cogwheel has some collision issue, It may sometimes be stuck inside other props that prevent you from picking and progress.
The sacrifice button remain locked, even I force all three survivor bots to frozen inside the cable car, I can only succeed by smashing the use button and with some lucks

      Conclusion:
This campaign may be fun if you got all human player, but is really frustrated if you play in singleplayer (I always have to use admin system to deal with this issue), I could give this campaign five stars, but unfortunately for me, the finale completely ruined all the fun I had in previous three maps, a really wasted potential.

      Only for ho0man players

Very hard campaign.Lvl 2 gauntlet is too long, endless horde with specials.Needs tuning a little bit.Final has it's own problems,it' unique but very hard for single player.Deleted with a reason.3 stars for nice level design, randomness of path's.

      A nice one in overalls

This campaign has one unique thing: random paths. I tried several times because I'd thought a map had been error (but actually not after slashing the tree much longer), & the path changed several times as well. For example, on map 2, there's a chance to get the easy path through the train to get where survivors need to cut the tree (which I thought it's bugged but not, because the tree has certain amount of health), or below the bridge, or the longest path into a tunnel. There are no error on bot navigation, but some randomly generated paths put bots at disadvantade. One of them is on map 1 when I needed to lift a container temporarily & run through the lifted container. The container went down again slowly, & one bot was pressed to death because he wasn't fast enough to follow me.
      .
The finale is a little bit confusing. I carried the gear to the machine & pressed E. Sometimes it was successful but sometimes it's not. & there's a moment when I threw the gear & it went behind the machine so I couldn't take it again. It would be better if the gear loaded to the machine when survivor press E anywhere near the highlighted machine, not on specific missing gear positions. & when the rescue cable car arrives, a bot or two seem to follow the sacrificing player survivor. But I found a trick to crouch near the window to let bot go to the cable car & then I pushed the button.
      .
      Pros:
      - Hints are clear
      - No error on bot navigation
      - The randomly generated paths on each play give challenge
      - The campaign looks original & it feels like playing on official campaigns
      - Supplies are enough including boomer biles, to help during escape events.
      .
      Cons:
      - When played in mutation mode, the movie is not played & survivors will get stuck in one place
      - Sometimes when players are unlucky to throw gear on finale, the gear goes behind the machine & can't be picked up
      .
The replayability of this campaign is good. I'll keep this map to play with friends later

Consistently good, great in small moments, hard finale

The build quality of this campaign is well above average. Much of it is pretty linear, like many campaigns - 90 degree paths and geometries with a few locations that are exceptions: the locations leading to the underground, and the mines themselves are nice breaks from the predictable. But the design, pace and paths are really good quality - not quite at the level of a White Forest or Bloody Moors, but solid throughout. The finale has a really different look, but it is a pretty long and challenging affair and starts to get a little tedious before you can finish it. Just another case of "more must always be better" design, where at some point there is a fatigue factor that works against it. But I think it is a keeper - almost at the same quality of the really great classics.

A campaign thats awesome to my tastes

Its a great map. The ending was awesome (but not the fact that it needs a sacrifice lol). cant probably finish the campaign in expert because of hordes. Map 2,3 and the finale are my favorites. like the random routes or something. makes me say WTF? Anyways great job to the creator of this campaign.

Great atmosphere and very high quality modeling

Stop trashtalking about Fall In Death. This custom campaign is just as good as original ones and even better. (Equivalent to Suicide Blitz, Yama, Dead Before Dawn, etc...)

      Pros:
+ Level design is just awesome. No empty space. No doubt this is professional mapping.
+ Originality. I was expecting some kind of L4D1 Blood Harvest cheap remake but Fall In Death is actually really inventive. Each level has remarkable areas (The mine, The forest, the mountain road) and none of these exist in L4D original campaigns.
+ General atmoshpere is really well made. Finale is clearly the best.
      + L4D1 characters
+ Different ways exist to reach the safe room. You can chose right or left sometimes.
+ Many zombies. I guess it is different from a server to another, but on the one I played, there was more zombies than the average. And I liked it :D
+ Difficulty consistency. Every level is challenging, but achievable... Until the finale...

      Cons:
      - FINALE IS CRAZY HARD! We tried it more than 15 times in Expert with decent players, couldn't make it to the end. Horde + Special infected + Tank + Another Tank!!! at the same time! I like hard finales, what disturbs me here is how harder it is compared to the rest of the campaign. We had to switch difficulty at 3am, and even in easy mode we've had troubles to finish it.
      - Putting the cogs on the engine during finale is pretty hard. You have to jump all over the machine for the loading bar to appear.
      - Some minor bot navigation issues. (Teleportation sometimes but pretty rare) Tank can't get inside the laboratory air duct and dies.

      Conclusion:
Great 4 level campaign. I definitely added it to my L4D favorite campaigns. I will try it again in expert, and this time I'll make sure we finish level 3 with tons of gear, pipe, boomer bile, etc! I give the whole campaign a 6 out of 5 and I take one star off for the finale difficuly = 5/5!

      A Little Almost There

Then entirety of the campaign is just at that 'alright' level of polish, I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I may appreciate the said 'random'-s in the description maybe when me and my friends give this map another go. But for the first run, there's not much to it. The highlight and selling point of this campaign is the finale. Somewhat unique rescue vehicle. Haven't played other campaigns that made use of one.

      Really good

The artwork in this map is good (when not obscured by rain, fog, darkness, or snow) but more effort should have been put into map flow and difficulty balance.

Nice campaign but there's several issues. You can get stuck in multiple places on the 2nd chapter, making it impossible to progress. The finale is impossible to beat with 1 human. However, the map design was on point, plenty of supplies throughout the chapters. Good work.

      Pros:

      - Good map design
      - Creative panic events
      - Alternate pathing
      - Unique finale

      Cons:

      - Alternate pathing results in way too many dead ends that look just as correct as the actual path (map 1 mostly)
      - Parts of it are too hard (very long run to the safe room) (the finale, when playing with bots).

      Conclusion:

Overall, very well designed. The first map could make better use of lighting to guide people the right way. Also the finale winch machine is a bit confusing too use. I didn't know where to attach the final piece and ended up getting it stuck behind and underneath the machine.

For anyone playing this campaign: Consider turning down the difficulty a bit the first time you play.

      Pros:

      - Awesome design
      - Navigation
      - Interesting events
      - Dialogues
      - Pickaxe weapon yeah :D
      - Challenging

      Cons:

      - 1st map: maybe it's only for me, but I can't pick up ammo to reload the "big gun" to destroy the barricade
      - 4th map: I guess it must be the "sacrifice final", but when I go to push the buttom (sacrifice myself) I can't do it

      Conclusion:

Excellent campaign! I very like and enjoy it despite this cons :D

      Pros:

      Atmosphere
      Random Navigation
      Good Layout and Design
      Challenging

      Cons:

Intro still appears to be broken on some servers

      Conclusion:

Enjoyed the campaign and the randomness. Layout and Level design looks good, and navigation is fine with me. So you have to explore a little until you learn the campaign, no big deal. The one thing that I do continue to have a problem with is the intro. Right now I can only seem to run it on the one 8 man server running using minimum mods.( multislots, tankbuster, simple supply, common infected regulator, vote manager, gore, admin respawn, weapon unlock, SG552 fix, afk fix ) While the intro isn't bad, it could be done away with for more playability IMO. In order for us to make it work we had to load in and leave one at a time to spawn in properly. Screen was black and stuck on Castorjudo Presents. Also missed the gas station event. Was that just random or did you feel you had to dumb it down for the players who couldn't make it through? Overall really enjoyable.

      Pros:

-- The choice of environments is lovely-- other than I Hate Mountains, I don't think that there are any campaigns set in the Pacific Northwest. I almost expected to see enemies from Alan Wake mixed in with the common infected.

-- Custom intro is artsy in the best ways, and makes use of some wonderful cut dialog.

-- One of the few L4D2 campaigns that I was able to play twice and get a totally different experience both times: seriously, the amount of randomization is incredible. And it's *good.*

-- Certain locations make the game look years newer simply due to how well they're lit.

      -- Pretty hard campaign overall.

-- Some events (including the finale) cannot be done without another player.

      Cons:

-- Can be pretty hard to tell where you're supposed to go in the first map.

-- I like the fact that the campaign is hard, but the final event on map two (running to the saferoom through a lumberyard) is one of the few events I'd actually call "too hard"-- if some medical supplies were added to the "fake" saferoom at roughly the halfway mark, it'd be a lot less frustrating.

-- Some events (including the finale) cannot be done without another player.

      Conclusion:

If you're a pretty experienced player of this game and can rope a friend into playing with you, I can see this being one of the most rewarding campaigns out there: it's hard enough to keep you playing in an involved and careful matter for basically the whole campaign, has events that require actual teamwork, and the backdrops to the action are visually excellent.

If not, well, I think you should still give it a shot-- but be warned that you won't be able to finish it.

      9.7

      Pros:

      -Four original and interesting maps
      -Different pathways and details
      -Detailed maps
      -Nice and diverse settings
      -That pickaxe
      -Versus special ambush
      -Hard rain events
      -Custom intro

      Cons:

-Random pathways may get you a bit confused
-Finale is a bit easy (-0.2)
      -Custom intro (-0.1)
      -Impossible to accomplish w/ bots

      Conclusion:

Excelent campaign. One of my MUST HAVE. The maps differs a bit (or a lot) each time you play, which is awesome, but if you're playing alone with the lazy bots because none of your friends have this map, it may become exhausting.

The length is average, which is quite good, but with all those random tweaks you'll spend more time than you'd think. The design is good and the scenery varied. You won't get bored.

The finale is a bit easy, maybe one more Tank spawning in the end would be better.

On the downside, you won't be able to beat it without human players. So, go call your friends and tell them to download this campaign so you can play it once and once again!

NOTE: As an exception, I'm giving this campaing a completely different score for solo players. 4 for you, guys. It's still a wonderful campaing and you'll enjoy playing it a lot, but if you happen to get one of those special events in which you need another human player (or the finale itself) it will be very frustrating).

Edited: I forgot about the intro. Having to watch it every time I play seems like boring to me. But still, it's a minor detail.

      Cons:

      Pros:

      - Loved the atmosphere and places chosen.
      - The Snow in map 4 + Cablecar.

      Cons:

      - Bots could get stucked under the elevator in map 3.
      - Also, bots appeared already inside the safehouse before breaking the wood obstacle.
      - Found finale way too easy.

      Conclusion:

It was a nice campaign with such great atmosphere. Enjoyed it, but it could be even better if you fixed a few bugs. Good job.
