Possibly the most detailed map of the entire l4d2 map library

I have been playing l4d2 since as early as 2012, and I have played 80% of all released maps on this website, if not all.
This map contains the amount of detail extremely close to real life, and i cannot imagine the amount of time and work put into this.

Gameplay is complete,
Story is complete,
You have all the expected things on every level and in every chapter,

though the amount of supplies is a bit too much compared with the amount of infected.

Thank you for your work. Definitely worth playing again and again, especialy during summer!

Questionable Ethics Kinda Feel.

Pros:
 - random routes

 - and very good shooting angles! haven't felt so good killing zombies for quite some time.
 - smart tricks and traps that add to the fun of the experience

Conclusion:

Finally after 2 hours of exploring and slaughtering, my long unfulfilled desire of playing a satisfying campaign was fulfilled. It has really been a long time since i played something of a quality this high and it's from England! God i love that place and its people.

It is amazing to find out the mapping techniques and that wild imagination of the developer.
At the same time that adaption of the original official soundtracks are truly amazing, the background music, the ambient sounds are just something to really marvel at.
Love the voice actor in the BBC News also, and that of the cannibal mate in the end.

This campaign best showed its beauty with its amazing exotic buildings professionally designed to fit its theme Valencia. However the skybox is something really uncomfortable to play under and is something of a drawback to the whole mapping.

Conclusion:

A details wrapped, entertainingly complicated masterpiece. The whole campaign stands out in mapping, event arranging, environment building and experience maximizing, even though the first map lacks a certain amount of detail and there was a building completely copied from the official campaign c4m2. But the events, without any doubt, are something so unique, never seen before.

A decent, delicate, clever campaign. The maps have the details no less than official ones, but it does need more optimizing in performance. As for what happens in the campaign, not much. Quite suitable for after lunch pastimes.

- Tank placement in 2nd chapter
- No rescue closets(in 2nd chapter)
- Nav editing

Conclusion:

Lots of work to be done before it qualifies as a 4-map campaign. The scenario is fine, but it lacks details, bigger scenes, and events. That dude down there clearly over rated. Though the finale is still in beta I believe it won't take much effort to make that plane functional as a rescue as in No Mercy or The Parish, the author has labeled it as complete. 
However, I by no means meant this will go nowhere and bears no potential, it just needs more time for an "operation", a big one. Enlarge the scenes, get the nav work and create fun events and a functional finale.
This ruined expectations from me and a few others and I believe the next game won't commence until later at night. What a beautiful evening.

Conclusion:

All in all, a very detailed, delicate weaved map for zombie-slaying. By that I mean not just events but the layout of the buildings and constructions and routes are 100% out of ingenuity though I'm not personally aware how things are arranged in real life at scenarios like in the game. Finished with 2 friends on advanced, everything's fine during gameplay. The finale runaway from the endless onslaught was especially impressive, though it would be much more fun with more chain saws or ammo or handy throwables along the way.

On the whole, it is a somewhat crude, unpolished campaign. For there's leaks, and missing textures at some areas, maybe the director was messed up also according to its performance. Problems listed as cons above are, I believe, won't even take an afternoon's time to fix. Anyway, I finally got tired of slicing and blow them up with my katana and spas in the end 2850, that's a lot for a 4map campaign.

Conclusion:

The moment I saw the paintings on the roof and walls in the church, I just knew this was going to be some serious realistic L4D2 gameplay, totally different from other boring designs with excessive placement of weapons and medical supplies set in lousy events and enveloped in poor details.

But seriously, a few more pills would be really necessary, considering the situation of playing with bots.
However I still can't deduct any points because of realistic scarcity of supplies or loss of direction.

Though being a real rookie level designer, I would say that amount of details really cost you a long time. Seriously, I have seen hardly any more detailed rooms or streets in other projects, even place players can't reach was attended with proper detail. Now that's what we call seriousness.

I could have finished on Hard Eight, if with more ammo, more pills on the way.
Amazing work in all. You have my first 10 in campaign reviews.

Just a few quick words before sleep. A decent campaign, just with too much scavenging then the unreal,the other campaign. Loads of new stuff spaceship and all that which is nice. but the finale was a more like a joke you know. I can tell from the quality of the map you see apparently the last two maps are in no way better then the first few maps. So:

I don't have too much time to give a detailed review but generally you can tell that I had a good time simply by checking out my rating. Yes, with bots, expert. Tried a few times all's fine except the finale, finale layout wasn't very good for killing tanks.

Pros:

- Hordes never stopped, they last a long time.
- Specific special infected spawned at specific spots
- No pipebombs or bile jars in the machine

I suggest all the gas picking spots out there be connected with each other. 
IF possible, extend the suspension between the hordes(Mobs+a tank) or shorten the time horde lasts.

Specified spawning is bullying.

Concerning the reduced building time, its a fact that the developer valued our time; but the loop of mobs and tanks on the other hand denied that fact.

That gas spot in the middle of the gate, has nothing around it. There was nothing for the bots to take shelter and watch my back. It's just out there on the ground and when I tried to grab the can I was the sitting duck.
Don't try to make the map hard, but instead make it enjoyable.

Finally If it's just me feeling the onslaught is too heavy and the delivery is toilsome, blame the Bots.

Thank you for this campaign, it was a satisfactory gameplay with supple control of mobs spawning.
I've seen some funny spots in the game like the male zombie in the man's toilet and the female in the woman's.
However the map itself can still be polished a little more.

Finally I love UK and I love that accent.

Jesus I never hated spitters this much before. I tried to fix bots in the gun shop and spitter came and incapacitated them again.
Besides some of the elements are unnecessary. We have a 50 cal on the roof. What good it does us? No good but maybe a good scenery.
All the cons added, sir you successfully extended a 30minutes "let's build" Map into a 1.5 hour scavenging&survival map.

Conclusion:

To "Claustrophobia":
This campaign is something we've waited like many many many months since it's posted in here. But apparently it's done in a hurry. I'm sorry, first for once what happened in the comment area before Mr. Fleshybutt is banned, which might be a main reason why the work turned out like this. I expected more, from the screenshot, then what it is now. For mapping, 6(finished)+2(length,details); For experience, +0.5(nothing fun actually) Deduction -0.5 (for the haste.)
Mr Director, you said 10 will do in single player, but when I filled that car with 10 gascans, the car never got started. 

Pros:

Cons:

- Nothing except: 
Personally, streets in the 3rd map aren't relatively carefully designed.(-0.5)
- Lame bots(-0.1)

Conclusion:

An authentic, realistic, detailed, typical campaign for Left4Dead2. After so many custom maps, it is "Back to School" that brought me back to the feelings that I used to have when I first played this game.

+ Poster glitches. It's cool to me I haven't seen any poster flashed like that . Cool.

Conclusion:

From the very beginning when I first played the first chapter, I thought this is some trash with lousy and unattended walls and infinite zombie killings. But later I was wrong. Because this map kept surprising me with unexpected tanks/witches. I remember the chapter with 4 tanks. It really scared the hell out of me. But I finally made it after 2retries. What I felt was not disappointment or frustration or anything but intense excitement. For those who rated this campaign low because of its difficulty, try the easy version right under the list.
A good campaign is about excitement and surprises.
BTW I finished this campaign at advanced level with Only 3 Bots.

Briefly this is quite professional. It's just the finale is a bit boring, tanks can't even get close to us cause we've got everything to defend and a perfect position

For the second time I felt playing L4D can be this fun. I love the jump part in the second map! challenging and funny. What made this campaign successful are the unique ideas of the map maker. Man's gotta be creative and ingenious to do this.

This map is perfectly detailed but layout was too simple, and this is why this campaign's so quick to finish.
Besides, the sniper was actually nobody. I found a witch there, maybe the sniper was the witch??
I mean you can make it happen, by creating a mod holding a sniper rifle. BTW the sniper was beatable though it's pretty hard. 
In brief this one can be very true to life, and I think there should be an horde event or two.

- No intro about how survivors got the 4th safe room (Why not start the 4th map in the train and let survivors drive to the destination themselves?)
- No mud men in the 3rd map?

- Layout was..as painful as the official ones

Conclusion:

It feels like some sort of advanced pack of Valve's official camps(3rd map parish; 2nd swamp fever; 4th dead center; 6th looks almost exactly like where we started at the first official campaign.) Witches were..not exactly placed where they should be. Don't know whether it's also a part of the challenge. Anyway if someone feels that official campaigns are way too easy then try this one  ;) This is gonna be good

+ All kinds of little cheeky gadgets, can't believe even the lovely penguins were EVIL

+ Sentences on the walls were funny

- Too many traps, hard for the players who haven't ever played crash bandicoot
- Lots of hordes
- The final boss was not powerful enough
- The bunny(or dog)boss was also not that hard to beat, easiest way to deal with it: hide in the corner and it can never reach the survivors

Conclusion:

Very fun campaign, if only those little problems can be dealt with. Boss's hard to design, but anyway they should also be hard to beat.

Has the author of this campaign survived the 3rd map with Valve's three bots? And what did he do to that boomer in the safe room?    -.-

I don't like to do the same thing for a second try...it's like some sort of, feeling myself so weak that can't make it by only one try. In brief this campaign is simple and flawless, sth like the official campaigns.

+Rescue place is simple and the route of the rescue plane is very nice, the plane thus is easy to spot and find.

Cons:

-Many of the Chinese characters are the traditional ones that are no longer in use now in China
-I suggest the two Chinese character "末路" on the safe room be changed to "死路" cause the latter is more in and modern.
-The "thing" that fell on me under the manhole was unexpected.(Cheeky, I survived the first one--that car on the bridge.)
-Too short.
-Layout is a little simple.

Conclusion:

The breakable fruits were totally new to me. The watermelon just broke as I walk on it, which is brilliant. China do grow fresh juicy fruits though I don't know whether zombies like them, I'd like to have one or two melons or bananas on the way killing zombies. BTW Zoey was really beautiful as her hair blew in the wind!! Finally it can be challenging if there's more zombies spawned, 1,009 is ok but..1,800 can be exciting. One more thing, just as it's mentioned down there, why must there be only three maps for Chinese campaigns? Well maybe materials can be hard to find, which is a reason and..you know the reasons I don't know. In brief I love this campaign and I appreciate it as it's set in China. Thanks.

Cons:

-The second Tank got stuck under the roof
-Bots kept fallin' at the ladders

Conclusion:

Feeling like just finished a tour in Japan without spending a single money, I mean the buildings and the cable cars, all made me feel like a sightseeing. I love the feeling looking down in the cable car, and BTW I shot the witch before the cable car arrived there, and luckily no body got hurt because of that. I was totally amazed when first entered the underground tunnels. This campaign gave me a lot of new experiences. Now I wonder how finally our foul tourists escape from there. Looking forward to ur next update. Finally one word for this campaign: Extraordinary!!!!

Pros:

- Very fine textures(Horses, Gandalf, especially)
- Very considerate to place Zoey Louis Francis there
- Music's COOL! Really exciting.
- It's a STORY.
- Phenomenon layout design.

Cons:

- Dam hard. Except hard.

Conclusion:

I'm lovin' it. Better play this map with hardcore players next time.

Pros:

- I do appreciate the safe house music when I finished the first map. It's of typical Chinese rural style,very in.
- All the details in the second map(sound effect, bulletin board, police cars, tents, are well designed.
- The route is quite clear, all I need to do is following the Great wall. 
- As for the 3rd map, I failed at the first time, bu t I soon got the plan in the second try,which i believe is quite exciting and challenging.

Cons:

- The campaign is too short..
- The walls can be much more higher

Conclusion:

First of all, I am a Chinese myself. I do appreciate the campaigns set in China. As for this campaign, which have already gained much reputation among the Chinese players, is really awesome. I came here for this campaign because there're so many people playing it and they said this is brilliant. I failed the first time.However I succeeded the second try by adopt a different plan. Instead of lighting the fireworks after collecting all the fireworks needed, I lighted every firework as soon as I got one. There is a trick in it: the time for your action is limited, if you don't hasten your movement lighting the fireworks, you'd fail. If you take the first plan, the infected will prevent you from lighting the fireworks you've already gathered. The more time you spend on collecting all the fireworks needed, the more infected there will be to stop you. If you take the second plan, however, you will only have to set fewer fireworks before more infected are spawned. And you may gather other fireworks when one firework is all ready on fire at the same time. As for the ice, I believe that is brilliant! You need some technique to get the firework in the right place, and light it before it gets too far from the target position. Feel creepy working on the ice? I don't think that's a problem, Only adds to the excitement. 

Pros:

- proper amount of supplies
- cool design of the story(from the prison through the ship to the port)
- very peaceful sunlight for a bloody fight
- the music in the game is amazing(when survivors come out of the prison)
- amazing design of the routes(eg. in the end, survivors may not chose the way they've taken before to get to the rescue fire balloon)
- all other details together with the music and afternoon sunbeam made this campaign a unmatched one.
- unique design of 

Cons:

- nothing really(the music maybe need a little more consideration effect, though it is perfect, it did disappointed me a little when the music suddenly stopped..)
- spawn place of the tank and the witch
- zombie corpse disappeared when they're shot
- more common infected are wanted!

Conclusion:

Death aboard remains to be my best experience in the L4D2...
