Description
I kept forgetting to add this one here. Well, now here it is. As the title said, this mod can modify the fall damage via cfg file to make it less deadly when falling from a very very high place. You can freely set the max fall damage..
There are 3 features available in "capped fall damage.txt" cfg file:
1. Fall Damage Cap Target:
This controls which type of survivor (bot only, player
only, or all) can get the effect of capped fall damage.
2. Fall Damage Cap Mode:
This controls whether a forced warp is triggered when
falling from a very high place. When mode with forced
warp is enabled, the falling survivor will be warped to
the location where the last time he reloaded his gun.
(Note: if you use this mode, don't reload a gun in the
air during falling to avoid endless cycle of torture of
warping & falling. Reload only at a safe place)
3. Max Fall Damage Cap
The value of this feature controls how much fall
damage a survivor will take when falling from a very
high place. For example, if you set the value to 30,
even if a survivor falls from a very high place, he only
takes 30 damage max.
Bonus Feature: Chat Command
- regroup warp = Warp yourself back to the team if
there's at least 1 more survivor alive, or warp back to
the starting point when there's no other survivor alive.
With this mod, you can either save yourself, bots, or all survivors from taking a deadly fall damage. You can also use this to protect bots from falling from very long ladders, as they have bad habits of falling from long ladders & lose health or die in vain.
