Description
If you ever used "Celestial Melee Weapons", you'll be familiar with this. Yes, this is the standalone version of one of the melee superpowers, "Lightning Sparks".
There are 2 cfg files available:
1. "celestial melee - lightning sparks.txt": This is the main cfg file that controls the features. List of the features:
1. celestial_melee_user: Who can use this melee
superpower (bots only/ players only/ all).
2. celestial_melee_damage: How much the damage is
per lightning spark hit. Min= 1, max= no limit.
3. celestial_melee_swing_count: How many melee swings
until "Lightning Sparks Power" is obtained.
4. celestial_melee_gore_mode: When enabled, common
infected killed with "Lightning Sparks" will have parts of
their body destroyed/ gibbed.
5. burning_lightning: When enabled, the lightning sparks
will burn zombies when hit.
2. "registered melee.txt": This cfg file is to register the melee model names. The content inside will look like this:
tonfa.mdl = 1
models/weapons/melee/v_fireaxe.mdl = 1
frying_pan.mdl = 1
Instructions & mechanisms of "Celestial Melee: Lightning Sparks":
- When playing for the first time with this mod, "celestial melee - lightning sparks.txt" cfg file will be generated.
- For "registered melee.txt" cfg file, this will be generated only when a survivor uses melee for the first time. The best map to generate this cfg file is map 1 of "Dead Center" or "Hard Rain", as you'll get melee immediately after spawning.
- A special chat command to detect weapon model you're holding: "check weapon model"
- The "Lightning Sparks" superpower has the same settings as "Underbarrel Shotgun Series", so most mechanisms are the same too. You can check "Rifle with Underbarrel Shotgun" for the detailed mechanisms.
- Only melee registered on "registered melee.txt" can use "Lightning Sparks" superpower. The formats can be in a long model name (like the example above about fireaxe on "registered melee.txt"), or simply just the file name with ".mdl" (like the "tonfa.mdl" & "frying_pan.mdl" on the examples above). For example, let's say that you have a spear custom weapon from a custom campaign & you want to add this superpower to the spear. You only need to type "check weapon model" to check the spear model name in game, & then register it on the "registered melee.txt" with the correct formats (the "= 1" must not be missing) like the examples above. After registering it, you can start to use the superpower.
- When you have "Lightning Sparks Power" stored, hold E (Use) & then attack with melee to unleash the lightning attack.
- Normal melee attacks can still be used as long as you're not holding E button.
- For bots, they can always use the superpower in 100% chance without consuming "Lightning Sparks Power".
- Riot zombie can be killed with this, as this bypasses armor.
- So with this, you can register any melee with this superpower as you like.

NOTES:
- This mod can be used together with "Baseball Martial Arts" & "Knife Throwing Arts", but you can't register baseball bat & knife on "registered melee.txt" because those mods also use E button to trigger the superpower so that may cause a bug, like both abilities will be triggered at the same time.
- If you want to see some animated previews about how it looks like, check the workshop link below "Download". Gamemaps can't use animated previews, so unfortunately I couldn't put those previews here. & I'm still too lazy to add some static image previews.
