Description
So. this mod allows survivors to activate "Desperado Mode" when using AIM/ SCOPE on dual pistols. When aiming, the fire rate is increased almost as fast as smg for single pistol, & as fast as smg for dual pistols. Under "Desperado Mode" state, knockback effect & increased damage may be applied, depending on the value set on the cfg file. List of available features on "desperado pistols.txt" cfg file: 1. Desperado Pistols User: Which type of survivor can use "Desperado Mode" (bots/ players/ all). 2. Desperado Pistols Damage: The increased damage when "Desperado Mode" is active. This damage is separate from the original pistol damage, so the total damage will be (this damage + original pistol damage). 3. Desperado Pistols Knockback: How strong the knockback power can push special infected & tank away. Tank only has 10% chance to get knocked back. Witch will always have 10% chance to stumble when shot in "Desperado Mode" state. 4. Desperado Gore Mode: When enabled, common infected killed with pistol during "Desperado Mode" will be dismembered like when hit by explosion (normally pistol can't do this except if the ammo is changed to magnum ammo). Mechanisms of how "Desperado Mode" works: - Press AIM/ SCOPE to aim with pistol & enter "Desperado Mode". - During "Desperado Mode", pistol is switched to automatic mode (you can hold FIRE button to keep shooting like when using smg or rifle). - "Desperado Mode" has special ammo that can be increased up to 100 only if survivor is shooting with pistol in normal mode (without using AIM/ SCOPE). The number of special ammo is displayed when reloading pistol. - Special ammo of "Desperado Mode" is automatically added to normal ammo clip when entering "Desperado Mode", & stored in inventory again when exiting "Desperado Mode". Examples: If you have 10 remaining ammo clip & 30 spedial ammo, entering "Desperado Mode" will give you 40 ammo clip in total, & canceling "Desperado Mode" will store the remaining ammo clip that's exceeding pistol max ammo clip back to inventory (single pistol= The excessive ammo clip more than 15 will be stored, & leave only 15 ammo clip on pistol. Dual pistols= 30 ammo clip instead). - Knockback effect can be turned on/ off via cfg file, but witch will still have 10% chance to stumble when shot in "Desperado Mode". - The damage from "Desperado Pistols Damage" works as 2nd damage after pistol original damage. So, this damage is added just after the pistol original damage hurts zombies. - Recoil during "Desperado Mode" is increased automatically due to the faster fire rate. For dual pistols, it's better to shoot while crouching to reduce recoil as dual pistols have faster fire rate than single pistol. - Special for Ellis, he has 10% chance to use some voicelines when killing common infected with "Desperado Mode". So, now it's a cowboy time... 😆 . NOTES: - A video preview will be added later. - If you modify pistol ammo to magnum or any types that can gib common infected, it's better to disable "Desperado Gore Mode" as this feature is only useful when pistol is using original pistol ammo that doesn't gib. - Pistol AIM/ SCOPE feature is still available even if "Desperado Pistols User" is turned off.
