Redplanet is unlike to most jump maps beginner friendly. there are 9 jumps from easy to medium(all of them are skill based no senseless extended jumps). most jumps are actually freestyle jumps i did in my old videos. the map has a ridiculous beautiful skybox and sci-fi custom textures.
This is a soldier jump map with 12 levels with a Difficulty level of Medium to hard. It is possible to complete this map as a demoman, but it's not designed for that class.
The author started making an easier jump map this time, but that became boring after a while so he ended up with a map that goes from easy to hard with some unorthodox methods and further thinking as seen in some of the later stages of jump_tholos. In the end this map turned out to be the more difficult one. Axxxl focused on quality and details rather than quantity for this map in a total of 12...
There are 5 courses in the map, each with a different theme. The first course can be completed as both scout and a soldier. Jumps on last course are made by The Magic Muff{N} Burglar.

This is a simplistic map intended for players who have never rocket jumped before. The cows on the side contain help on how to do each jump. Difficulty ranges from Easy to Medium.

I didn't like the way trickjumping is going. it seems like the mappers just make longer pogos and lower ceilings . For me trickjumping is about speed and unlimited flying so I created jump_trix inspired by q3 freestyle maps.
