One of the most undetaild campaigns I have played for a long time. It's very blocky, have almost nothing intresting in it and the navigation, panic events and zombie spawn rate are barely working. 

And on top of that, in map 2, I did only fight against <20 regular zombies and 4 specials only to face a witch and 2 tanks almost at the same area. We survived only becasue I ran away and waited for the tanks to burn to death. And for what? To go into the elevator and get stuck on the roof...

I understand it's your first campaign and based on Silent Hill, but you need to learn alot more about level design becasue this campaign have everything you can expect from a first uploader. Better luck next time

You fixed the unbreakable doors though.

*Taking a deep breath*

1: You dont have any soundscapes, no intro and no good story put into it
2: Your poster says "l4d2maps" its l4dmaps
3: The map is so uncreative and the disaster is so horrible! Everything was okey at first. Then I went into a building and reached the roof and suddenly, its water everywhere! No sounds, no reactions, the building we were in was okey, but its water everywhere else. And for some reason, you added like wood/metal planks and a floating hot dog stand for us to jump on. Seriosuly?

4: You added equipments too early. 15 seconds and I found pipebombs, bilejar and weapon upgrades
5: It took me around 3 minuts to start the radio. And on top of that, the zombies (including tanks) could not reach us becasue of the unbreakable doors! Huge challange right there!
6: You added voice lines with ambient sounds. Coach died by one of the tanks (before the finale). Yet, I heard him at the chopper.
7: Really lame helicopter animation + no sounds from it.

In conclusion: A really horrible map with nothing creative put into it. And you seriosuly bealive this map is good enough to be in a CONTEST?! You need to work on this ALOT. Its not even allowed to be in the contest in its current state.

I will give it a low 1.3. If you update this, let me now and I might consider trying this map again. Sorry if you think I'm mean, but this in a contest is so ridiculous,

Where do I start? This map is nothing but basics, basics and more basics. This is one of those maps you should keep to yourself as a learning experience. I understand you are proud of this and want to upload something, I did the same, but you didn't really bealive people would love this right? I really dont want to crush your mapping dreams, this is how I learned as well and I hope you dont take my review in a bad way, but you really need to learn at least a few more things before you upload your work and I will list the important errors you need to work with here.

1: I dont think you fully understand what I mean with "Its too empty". Its still too empty even thought you lowered the roof or made the room smaller. You must add statics and physic objects! Even in the corridors... have you ever seen a building full of rooms with almost NOTHING in them in real life? You should have the offical campaigns in your mapping folder. Its easy to download them if you dont have them. Open... Dead Air offices or something like that and look around for awhile. Do they have empty rooms? No, they have wending machines, a reception, chairs, tables, desks, plants, windows, office textures, phones, computers, you name it! Not to be rude, but it does not look like office rooms.

2: Why do you have like 100 lights? 1-3 in each room is more than enough. I dont know what is worse, a fullbright map, or this :l

3: You should have a story. What is going on, where are the survivors and why etc. I have seriously no idea what this campaign is about and I dont like playing random coop maps without knowing what's going on. Only a few maps are "okey" without any backstories. Surfing, death run, survival and training maps for example.

4: I found several floating objects. Like the table on screenshot 5. Also a really basic thing you need to fix.

5: No enviroment sounds and no real dialouges is something you dont have to think of right now. Its for more advanced mappers. Focus on the basic things first.

2/10 becasue after all, you actully tried and have a start. But its far away from good and I hope this review helped you a bit on your way to become a great mapper! Good luck :)

I'm afraid it do have alot of visible flaws. Like rain and buildings suddenly disapering or a glitchy skybox. And the bot navigation is decent. I have seen better.

Its pretty hard to say if this map is great or not. Its either so hard and so boring its ridiculous or very funny and way too simple. I think the idea, the great work put into it and the fact that it really do look like a pacman game is really making up to the decent gameplay.

Another map I recommend, but not with bots. And I dont recommend you to camp either since you wont last for long.

Getting the keys is pretty hard actully - I randomly clicked untill it fell down. One of them didn't even work (lack of information)

Conclusion:

Its not the best map I have played. I actully got pretty bored walking around doing more or less the same in every room. Its not even working sometimes. And on top of that, the bots are nothing but squirrels with brain damage.

Its a good start, but its barely working with bots and have alot of bugs and issues. So far its recommended, but with other players. Keep it up!

Only one door in the whole map - and its hard for tanks to get in

I'm not fully aware what the story is. Survivors crashed with a car at a parking lot or something. Aha, how and why? What are they doing there? Etc. Even if the campaign itself is fully working, I can't say its a very intresting one.

And what the hell did you do with the second map? I played on advanced with 1 aidkit (bots could not pick up the other kits), I didn't find adrenaline or pills, and we are supposed to start a non-stopping mob panic event, crawl in a vent with riot zombies you can't show in that vent and survive? 

As I said, its good for a first upload but you have to give it a good challange. Not too hard, not too easy. I beilive at least half of our map testers play on advanced/expert and this is impossible for anyone playing on normal or above.

First of all, let me explain my neutral opinion about the intro.

I like it. I mean, its creative, but you should use scripted dialouges becasue now you just used ambient sounds. I used to do that as well back at my first maps, but now I know how to use scripted dialouges and its actully really simpel. Their mouths dont move one bit while they are talking and you can use commands like "laugh, lets go" etc so both sounds are playing at the same time.

Otherwise its nothing bad to notice and really few "errors" in it. I dont know how you managed to get that animated dog in your map, but I really like it! Maybe a bit unrealstic, I mean zombies ignoring a defenseless dog, but still its nice ;)

1: We start downstairs for some reason. I went up to get supplies and the bots didn't do shit and simply got incapacitated at the ladder all time. I went down to start the thing and a metal gate closed a second after I came up with a bot still hanging at the egde, cut of on the middle.

2: you dont have any soundscapes nor effects. To be honest, it doesn't feel like a desert except from the sand I'm walking on. I hear wind sounds once in awhile but not often at all. 

3: Seems like you copied the shelters. I walked into one of the shelter, saw a grenade laucher and fire ammo and went on exploring. I saw another shelter and thought I walked around in circles untill I relaized its a copy from the first one.

4: I dont know, but I think you made the dead rope charger a physic prop or something like that becasue I can go through him wich is very unrealstic.

5: The map itself is very open and its not hard to defend yourself.

It have great potential but you have to work a bit more on it. Keep it up!

I really like your level design even if it sometimes doesn't make much sence or are too advanced for the bots to handle, but in overall its a great start for an early beta. 

I didn't find many glitches or flaws, except for the fact that you can quite easy skip long paths of the map. More playerclips is needed. And the second saferoom is just a copy of the first one. I think what you have to work most with right now, is the story. The map can be really enjoyable but the story is also very important as well as media.

I think 7 is well deserved for this. Score and review will be improved after futher updates. Keep it up! :)

Really fun concept! The map itself is very small and its pretty easy when the balls stop coming.
Besides from a few cons, it isn't many bad things to notice

The flippers didn't help much. Dont know if thats just me, but most of the balls flew over the flippers or simply stopped. And somehow managed to kill the bots sometimes anyway.

And you might want to add a hurt trigger in the water since it take quite some time before you actully die by oxygen lost. And since the zombies can't take you while your still moving down the water, auto spitt arrives.

So, good job once again! It would be fun if you could make a map without the zombies so we can simply enjoy a Pinball game without enemies, if the game improves a bit ofc

Tanks can't use small cars like they normally can. But they can use HUGE vans?

Conclusion:

A decent campaign. Not the best I've seen and far away from the worst. I really beilive your creative mind weight more then most of the cons and there for, I'm giving you a pretty high score even if this could use an update.

Really nice enviroment and design and damn, it sure is challange in this campaign!

But there are some things I feel I have to point out:

1: Very silent... almost no ambient sounds anywhere and no soundscapes
2: What is the story here? No survivor dialouges and I dont really understand how they got there either
3: You end up in a saferoom and then after loading, its new textures and the door you came into will lead you to a new place. Its like the survivors have a teleporting ability

4: I honestly dont understand why you have 50 alarmed cars in your campaign. 1-2 cars togheter with maybe 1-2 panic events is enough
5: Lack of melee weapons and I only saw the same kind of tier 2 weapons everywhere. AK and autoshotgun almost all the time. 
6: Why can't the tank use small cars, but they can use huge vans? A tank spawned so I jumped around cars waiting for him to die of the fire. Nothing happened untill I jumped on a huge white van... he used it and killed us ^_^

Bot navigation is horrible thought! A tank got me down and they left me to die. Restarting the whole map isn't fun :s
Also they get stuck quite alot... and it sometimes takes the whole map before they teleport to me.

Its a very few directions, but at the same time, its based on FEAR and FEAR game doesn't have arrows telling you where to go... I would also appreicate more melee weapons and weapon upgrades.

And I'm not sure if its just me since people dont mention it, but the third map have that weird disco error all over the place.

Second map just disapointed me... I didn't have to meet a single tank and a maximum of 4 specials becasue of the saferoom door. 

And I appreciate all custom materials, but your music is not my taste and I rather remove them. Its one thing if you add music at the intro and outro, but adding music at incoming hordes and everywhere else can get annoying if you dont like it.

Fixing the finale map is the most important thing right now. If you can optimize map 1 a bit more would also be good.

Why should I start the first panic event? Zombies broke a wall and I could go there insteed

Map 2:

Whole saferoom (and alot of other areas) copied from Death Toll. At least change textures and props so it doesn't look like the original one

The moon texture is pretty aweful

Map 3:

A few ground parts can be better connected with each others.
Why is it a road leading to the water? No brigde or anything, just a huge road leading to death
Fire panic event in the tunnel for what? Every zombie died becasue of the fire

Map 4:

Maxium of 5 zombies
No challange at all

Conclusion:

Well, it was hard enjoying this becasue of the terrible gameplay.
Your level design is decent, but its so many wierd mistakes so its almost a crime calling it "complete".

It took me 22 minuts to play 4 maps and I didn't rush... not to mention I didn't meet a single tank not even in the final.
Not recommended untill its fixed. Untill then, I'll give it 30 for your nice level design and you actully use soundscapes like so many people dont.

And one of the grass part is not stuck togheter with another so its a huge hole and can see outside the map there as well.

And could hardly get into the blue "ceda" tent. You might want to take a look at that...

I was disappointed when playing this. This could probably be created by a team with amateurs.

You should really focus on the gameplay of your maps right now. Design and enviroment is great like it is but the gameplay and atmosphere was pretty crappy.

Probably one of the best survival maps I have seen for l4d2 ever!
Enviroment, soundscapes, fog, skybox... everything is amazing!

You should move the survivors closer to the start button (or add another button at start and keep the one you already have so you can choose where you want to start)

Remove alot of the supplies. I found like 15 fire/explosive ammo. 1-3 is enough.

Bots get stuck at a few parts. They sometimes get stuck at the church windows and refuse to use the doors.
They also start to "hang" sometimes at the church tower area.

And the biggest con I found. I could go up at the tower and then jump from the tower up on the church roof.
I lost 30-40hp but the zombies could not reach me up there and I got gold medal without even trying.


I will rate this 95+ if you fix the problems. This map is almost perfect :P.
It would be awesome if you use this in a campaign someday

Seems like most of the cons were fixed. Some of them are still there but its not many things left now.
A fun map with alot of challange. It do have some bugs but some of them are actully pretty funny :)

This map is almost perfect like it is! Only a few details I would like to see fixed.

And please remove the playerclips! Tanks and other specials can't get us down from the roof so camping there means your more or less safe. You should add playerclips around the props (I think the reason why you have playerclips is becasue you want to block them?) and make them huge so they touch the sky. And remove the playerclips around the roof becasue its unrealstic and specials dont have a chance.

My first thoughts after playing this was, whoow this was pretty confusing.
It also have too much supplies. I played with bots and advanced difficult and left 90% of all throwable items and pills left because we didn't need them.

Otherwise its just small easy solving problems you probably have fixed in the next update.

In conclusion: This is very well maded and a very nice looking campaign! Great job :)

It was a very nice experience to play this campaign. It do have issues but I dont know many campaigns without any.
A campaign with alot of challange but at the same time easy to defeat with all the pointless supplies added to it.

I think this one was more enjoyable then alot of the great campaigns out there. 
A huge update is needed but this one might become a very popular campaign. Good job!

This is probably one of the most frustrated and annoying campaigns I have played on l4dmaps but at the same time, its very unique and have alot of work put into it.

I dont want to sound like a crybaby but this is too hard even for advanced players.
I was forced to change from advanced to normal to even have a chance to survive this.

Almost no supplies at all! (Found the first level 2 weapon on map 3), almost no aidkits or pills at all...
At least you added alot of melee weapons xD

I think and hope my cons explains it selfs, otherwise ask me and I will explain them.

I'm not giving it 65 becasue I have a hard time finish it, but becasuse it really need a huge update with much more supplies and alot of details to fix.

Most of the cons I saw was small, easy solving problems and doesn't remove alot of points.

All thought, my biggest con is the fact that you did work very good at map 1 but map 2 was not much China and map 3 didn't have anything from China at all.

It was fun and enjoyable and I can recommend this to others, but it looks like you gaved up and just made something regular at the end.

I'm giving it 83/100 becasue it was good even with all cons and less China work at the end.

I have to say, it have alot of challange.

I almost gaved up at some parts. Like the plane. I was searching for the last parachute for 10 minuts or so. Maybe longer. 

But its not your fault if I have a hard time finding it so it doesn't effect the score really.

In conclusion: A great (probably one of the best) China campaigns I have seen so far!
I know its still people who will upload their China work, but even if their maps are good, you still have a great chance to win :)

PS: I would appreciate if you could make a survival map. At the wall and in the plane. That would be awesome.

The soundscapes didn't make much sence to me. 
It was an inside soundscape outside, wind sounds inside the church but no wind at all outside it etc.

Explode the gas station and some debris is floatin in the air. Nothing big thought but it looks wierd.

Navigation didn't work everywhere. The roof near the start area for exampel.
I saw a fallen survivors doing nothing and bots got stuck and was forced to teleport down from there.
Also, they dont pick up anything at all.

Its ported from L4d so maybe a version with L4d survivors?

Boss was at least 3 times easier now with all L4d2 weapons and supplies. 
I killed it in a minute with 3 bots :l


Otherwise its a great port. I really enjoyed playing this for L4d and this ported version was also great.
It got some few problems but nothing very big.

I suggest you work more with the navigation and give the boss a bit more health.

PS: I love Linkin Park so their Dont Stay song was awesome at the fight :D

I played like 10 of them and wasn't even half done

Cons:

More description to each mutation so its easier to know what it is

Conclusion:

I'm normally a map reviewer so I dont know what to say about this.

After testing 10-15 I saw I wasn't even half done with all of them.
Alot of mutations I havn't seen before and ofcourse all original Valve mutations.

Only con is the fact that you really need to play them to understand what it is. Its not enough description but still nothing bad.

In overall a fun, enjoyable map. But it need to be upgraded.

I did not understand why a endless horde arrive if you touch a trigger. You should make a coop version and have it that way insteed. Its a survival map and we can't explore becasue of that.

Some of the areas at the boat seems to be triangular and square. Make the water a bit higher  or work a bit more with the ground.

I also saw a couple of trees floating in the air.

I played this one for over a year ago. I also played it for l4d2, but by that time, I wasn't  a member or just forgot to make a review of it.

The final was very easy! Open areas, almost no challange, easy to defend.

But some of the panic events was very hard with bots doing nothing. Almost died a couple of times.

The intro could be better.

I could hardly see the text becasue it was a bit too dark.
And it looks like it was laggy. The camera suddenly stopped and some sec later I was inside the house and saw the survivors.

Bots are totally crap. They dont do a shit and just die. I suggest you play with other players ^_^

The "get stuck at the door" bug is already reported so I guess you know what I mean.

The outro was nice but I think you should add an escape trigger. I waited for half a minute or so and nothing happend so I left the game...

To start with, let me say I really enjoyed this map! I really like the dark enviroment and the spooky feeling you get while walking around in the forest with zombies attack you :)


But just as most maps with a first release, it have things to fix.

I suggest you add weapon upgrades (laser sight, explosive/fire ammo)

If I shoot the glass and then break the wood around it, its acting like glass. So break the wood part of the window and it sounds like glass.

Dark, zombies can get in everywhere, lack of weapon upgrades/melee... very hard defending. 
I like challange but improving the possibilitys for campers should be a bit better I think.

Sometimes, common infected and some specials have a hard time getting up the stairs and some of the props.
But its a regular problem many maps have. If you can make it a bit easier for them, I would not mind.

It should be more breakable stuff! Like the white wood at the stairs (screenshot 4) you know, like Death toll finale.

And you should add a minigun upstairs.


Otherwise its a very fun map to play. Great work for a first release!

I can jump down on the rocket. Survivor bots can also jump down there but zombies have a hard time doing it.
So auto spitt spawned under me after a short time.

Zombies didn't have many places to spawn on. Could actully see them spawning a couple of times.


Some suggestions:

1: It was very quiet so add more fitting ambient sounds
2: The map was not very big so at least add some more weapon ugrades or powerful equipment like chainsaws and grenade lauchers. Or M60...

3: Make more areas spawnable for the infected. I played with bots and even thought we all were campaign at the same place, I could see the zombies spawning a couple of times.


Otherwise it was nothing big to notice.

Good first release! Review will be changed if you upgrade this map.

I played the campaign and was impressed by your enviroment. Its really nice so be proud of it!

But I found many error while playing it and here they are:

Some of the areas are way too open! Very easy killing the zombies and very annoying if you pick the wrong way!
I took one of the wrong ways and walked around a big part of map 1 wich was really annoying...

I heard alot of ambient sounds. Good! But I didn't hear any enviroment sounds. Make sure you add those.

Maybe its enough supplies on normal but you have to think about the advanced players.
I never play on normal anymore. Its always advanced and it was not enough supplies in this map.
To be honestly, I dont think I saw a single molo, pipe or vomitjar trough the hole map! And almost nothing else either :l

I was able to jump on a concrete pipe, on a brick fence and up on a roof were I was 100% safe from infected.
Its hard to explain where but I took a couple of photos so check my steam profile!


And now to the VPK con.

You added alot of sounds we already have. Only add custom sounds! Adding original valve sounds are not necessary!
It just take space.

And I was not able to play map 2 due to an runtime error. Dont know why. Might work better if you remove unecessary things.


So in conclusion: A great start! Just some minor problems...
Keep working on this campaign and update map 1 before releasing it again. Add a playerclip, enviroment sounds, more props if possible and more supplies!

I saw all the reviews (some of them maded 3 minuts after the release) and thought this campaign was going to be perfect as everyone said.

Well, it was close but not 100% perfect.

I dont have to change anything on any other campaigns to solve crash problems. This was a bit ridiculous.

Some events, like the boat, was too random for a regular campaign like this.
The can randomly spawned at the boat. I shot it and the boat was floating at us (even thought the water was floating the other way ^^) and stopped exactly at our position.

Map 1 was also too random. The elevator stopped (good idea, I use it as well) and we was forced to restart the power. The power button was randomly located at a construction area! Elevator power at a construction area, hmmmm...

Prison was also a bit wierd but I think I have explained enough by now.

It was alot of scences but sometimes too many of them. A road, a dock (awesome design there), then a prison, then a sewer and so on.

I think the rest of the cons speak to themselfes.


A GREAT campaign with alot of nice ideas, surprises, events, perfect design at most parts, and so on.
But its not one of my favorits. It was really unrealistic for a regular campaign. It was also alot of crashes wich was very annoying.

But the pros weighs most. 85/100

Many of the doors are locked but not blocked! I can see into the room without bein able to get inside! Its not blocked so I dont understand why so many of them have to be locked?

Adding props is neccecery ofc, but it might a risc. 
If you jump on the boxes with a lamp or open the green toilet door and camp in there, auto spitt spawn since zombies can't get you there. So calld glitch.

The map is very small! I could sometimes see where the infected spawn and if you play with 4 human players and camp all around the map, infected can't spawn at all! 

The molotov in the trash was not an bad idea but its possible to move the trash and the molotov float in the air.

Also, it was lack of melee weapons. I saw katana everytime I played! It was also lack of weapon upgrades like laser sight and explosion/fire ammo.

And I didn't notice if you added ambient sounds this time, I just played the map. But if you didn't, you should add it.


I think its a great first release! Just make sure its big enough for both infected and survivors.


Heres some of my suggestions:

1: Make some areas for infected only. Like a vent (in the wall or roof)
2: Make sure the map isn't silent. Add ambient sound(s). The easiest way is to copy from valve campaigns.
3: Add at least one melee weapon with "any" so we dont get the same weapon everytime.

4: You said its a building site? Add zombie workers maybe? If you dont know how to create them, go to my website located on my profile. I have a tutorial on how to spawn uncommon infected.

5: Try to work as much as you can with the navigation. Glitches destroy a big part of your map.
If you dont get a working navigation everywhere, block the prop with a playerclip or something.

This is my second review!

First of all, let me say that the NAV is much better! Bots can now follow and the infected can kill you easier.
Its also nice to see all survivors including new models you added!

The models are still lame since they just stand there while their weapons use themselfes :l.

Its also more ambient sounds now! Good!


But the skin on our teeth music was a bit random and dont fit since it dont stop!
Even if you restart the round, its still there and might get really annoying after awhile.

The death idea was a good touch since you added warning signs. If people are dumb enough to walk there, they should die x).

But bots dont know how to avoid it and always die if I walk up in that bulding.

I was also able to use the mounted gun even thought it was laser coming from it.

And I think you have missed some parts in your VPK. Its error signs at one location and the radio is pink/black (missing texture)


I think its better but do what you can do fix it even more!
Some of the cons are still there, some of them fixed.

I would like to see a upgrade in the future without missing textures (if you can't fix it, remove it)

Conclusion:

I played it a couple of times. One time to test if the zombie NAV is working right and one time to just playing around and check how the map look like and I found a couple of problems:

1: Go up in the tower and you can jump to the big tree. Its fun sitting there but common infected can't get you and auto spitt will spawn. I suggest (if you want the problem out of your way) move the tree a bit and/or add a clip around the branch.

2: If you go up into the tower and walk to the egde and start to hang, bots dont understand what to do and walk down the ground and try to help you from there.

Bots have problems getting into the vent. At least the first time.

I dont know if you have a grenade laucher and laser sight somewhere, but if dont have it, add it! A big part of the map is very open = perfect for some grenade action.

Its no ambient sounds in the map. Alot of people miss to add it. I think its important, otherwise its just completley quiet.

Oh, and btw I think we should be able to unlock the door to the control room. The room with a dead body in a chair you know?

And the small, small room with a saferoom door was a bit too random :l


Otherwise its nothing big I noticed. Good for a first map!

It was lack of melee weapons throw the campaign. I saw one tofa and one chainsaw. The rest of the melee weapons I saw was on the finale.

It wasn't enough weapon variety. I saw the same kind of weapon everywhere.
Maybe add a grenade laucher, M60, random shotgun/sniper spawn etc so we dont find the same weapon everytime.

On map 2 its like a small brigde from one building to another. If a smoker, charger or what ever get you down on the other side of the fence, bots can't save you unless they are placed right.

They were also left behind and took long time to get to several places. But its a normal problem, not your fault.

It was also alot of smokers and all of them very annoying since they can spawn all around the maps, on roofs, fences.. everywhere.  Dont know why, but its was more smokers then normal in this one.


But the design, gameplay and map lenght are AWESOME!
I loved the tank surprise on map 2. I thought the map was way too short. That event scared the shit out of me!

You even added survivor dialouge wich few people do nowdays. 

Love it! Guys, you should test this one! Just some small normal cons otherwise its perfect :P

Its NAV problems on many places. On the fence on the upper floor for exampel.

The part outside was a bit empty and open. Could use a couple of props or details.

The stone fence outside blocked some special infected.

And I dont like the idea to start the map after opening the doors. But its not a problem and dont remove points.


Otherwise its a map full with challange! The design is awesome!
Also love the fact that you got inspiration from reall places.

Just as Halo said, the NAV is a big problem on this map. Its removing alot of points.
I suggestion you try to make a ladder up there. If that dont work, make the ramp smaller or the platform bigger so zombies actully can use it.

A good remake! Just need a big NAV upgrade and some small details changed.

The finale was hard with bots. I found one good camping spots but it was a long way to walk after second tank died so we hardly made it. Also, the outro was not the best.


While playing this campaign, I get a feeling I'm actully in an reall underground facility. Nice maded!


PS: Fun if you could add sounds while sitting in the train like: "Now arriving at the ....." :P

The hole map was a big surprise! I thought the robot with jockey arms was a buddy or something because he showed us the way and helped us to open doors...

I was like: Wtf?! at the end fight. The guy helping us was the enemie. Its calld The Return of the Jockeys so, guess I'm kinda stupid haha xD


Anyway, the intro was amazing! The boss have new ideas and new fighting skills 
(Other bosses can spawn enemies yes, but their attack dont look the same and they dont spawn jockey)

The map was a bit short, buts its for the contest so its not supposed to be long but still a bit too fast gameplay.

And playing with stupid bots while fightings against hordes after hordes and alot of jockeys was not very funny, even on normal difficult. But its a boss fight so its supposed to be hard ;)

The charger music you added was also a surprise but get annoying after hearing it so many times. Also wierd if a jockey or something else get you and you hear 2 music at the same time. Still nice idea!


In overall, exellent! Good luck in the contest! :)

The bomb idea is on both pros and cons and I will explain why.

1: The idea is really great 
2: It looks good!

Negativ things:

1: Its glass! If you touch it or melee it, you will see peice of glass
2: You need to shot 2 times to make it explode. First shoot just remove the bomb, second destroy the barrel.


The map is big and good, but what I mean with few camping spots is: You can't go inside the castle. Dont know if the doors will open after a while? But I couln't get inside.

Can't go inside the boat either.

I found a bug. If you jump down in the waterhole, its no way to get up and infected can't reach you so its auto spitt there if they try to kill you.

Also, it was lack of enviroment. Almost no trees or anything wich made the areas really open.
And one side of the map had no mountains or trees what so ever, so could see the end of the map.


Heres some sugesstions:

1: Dont add music after starting the radio. Add it before so we can listen do it without tank music and such things.
It was no ambients sounds before starting so...

2: Work more with the bombs. Idea is great but need improvements

3: If the doors wont open at all even with a high time, open it.

4: Add trees, stables, barns, rocks... anything the make the map less "open"

You dont have to be at the boss area. You can go back and be 100% safe from the boss. Infected spawn sometimes but, otherwise 100% safe.

You didn't even make a clip at the chopper fence. Was able to get around it before killing the boss. Couln't go into it but still.

A good try, but I think we all want to see your own boss with own skills, not a copy and paste boss with another looking

The intro was a nice touch, but since I heard alot of zombies and the zombie choir music all time it was sometimes hard to hear what the guy said. Still really nice thought.

The bookstore panic event was lame in my opinion. It says on sign its an emergency exit, but its not an exit.
Its an storage room or something, then a corridor, then a parking lot...

We could hardly move more then 3 meters before a new huge horde attacked us.

The button to turn of the alarm seems to be randomly places in a parking lot and was 2 cm just outside saferoom.

Some places was a little bit too empty. Inside the stadium for exampel.

I saw a couple of texture glitches if you open toilet doors. Not a big deal, but want you to know its there.

The tank surprise was really nice, but come on! Its not enough aidkits and stuff like that outside the stadium, and the tank almost killd us. We didn't have a chance to defeat the hordes at the car event. We died, and its not often I die on coop unless its expert.

The car event was really hard, but its a really nice idea and I'm giving alot of points for that. Totally love the idea!

Map 4 was too easy/short. We didn't loose a single health point! And I killd 35 zombies... 100-200 on the other maps.

Finale didn't have many good camping spots since the infected could break throw many of the walls. And camping outside wasn't good either... They come from everywhere.


In overall, the idea with the campaign is really nice, its alot of scenes, cool surprises...
Its just not my favorit.

Its a bug on the fontain at start. Stand on it and common infected and tanks can't get you.

I searched throw the whole map and no melee weapons.
And the only ammo pile I found was the one at the car.

And the thing I thought was the wierdest thing. Intro talking.
It didn't make any sence at all and you apperently just added something.

Ellis were telling a story and then they suddenly changed the subject and was talking about: "I agree with the idea, but I'm driving"

Nobody said anything about ideas or anything. Just wierd.


Otherwise its okey for a survival/scavenge map.
I guess Ellis need a car license.

Lack of supplies. Didn't see any pills, adrenaline, molotov, vomitjar and only one kind of melee weapon.
Add at least one bottle of pills or adrenaline and make sure its not the same kind of supplies everytime you play.

Ambient sounds could use more work. It was the same sound in many areas. In the trailer for exampel.

I didn't loose more then 15hp untill the brigde part (played on advanced).
If the tank wasn't there, we wouln't use a single aidkit.

And since you add cars, buses and other "future" things, it dosn't feel like the wild west.

The map is really hard! Hardly survived for 4 minuts, maybe becasuse of the bad camping spots.
Challange is good, but if bronze is hard, its too hard.


Add more vomitjars, grenade laucher or m60 (to improve the survival chance) and a couple of melee weapons.

One more suggestion is: you should work with NAV and add mudmen! Its a swamp right? ^^



Otherwise, I enjoyed playing the map! It was really fun exploring and fight!

And something inside as well. Its easy to copy from vavle campaigns.

But surviving is way too easy. Took 30 sec for zombies to reach us. And 5 minuts before we meet a tank.

I could go outside to the snowman but can't jump over a small, small fence. Its unreallistic and boring -.-'

And 80-90% of all doors are locked.



So in conclusion: Its a wonderful map, but you released it a little bit to early I guees. Really need more work

I thought the map looked ugly at first, but I changed my mind after I tested the map. I think its actully looks like a "classic" counter strike map ^^.

I found many weapons, even a grenade laucher. So i hade no problem finding anything to use.


Add more sound effects! The map design was actully really good, but it was really quit. I mean, you start outside, maybe add winds, thunders, music or anything else...

Bots are so stupid! Ellis almost diead on the roof (Tried to jump down for no reason ^^), and Rochelle were in a house and didn't move anywhere.

I found a glitch, if you stand on the computer in "red's room", the infected have problem to reach you and it spawn spitter goo under me. You dont need to be there ofcourse, but i just want you to know.

I could not go in the water which made me disappointed. Zombies can, but not survivors. Unreall and boring!

And this map was extremly easy. I found the best place on got a high time on my first try whitout any problems. The only threat was the high time tanks. Other infected die before they could reach us.

Cons: It was too much light. (Start area for exampel). White textures and alot of lights in a tunnel?!! Really annoying for my eyes.

We saw a tank on, i think it was the 2nd map. Tank didn't see us so i throw a vomitjar and after he lost like 80% of his hp, a bot shot him and he saw us and epic faild ^^.

The final was really easy! We were on the roof whit the big gun. Speical infected hade problem getting up there, and normal infected was not hard to kill up there. Tanks wasn't hard eaither.


Pros: Your maps was impressive! The burning house whit floor you could fall throught, and the airplane crash was really cool! 

And your campaign was a challange whit stupid bots ^^. Exept the final.

-I couldn't open the gunstore door! I didn't find any others way out or a button or something to unlock it!

-The final was really bad! The train was going around us all time and didn't stop! After we fight against a big, big horde, he finally stoped! And becasue we hade to wait so long to get onboard, all bots diead while they were trying to get to the train, so i hade to fight by my own for the last 20 sec. Lucky i hade adrenaline and could run to the train alone!


But the maps looks good and you added enough stuff to use. Good campaign whit some bad details!

Your first map was really scary! I dont understand how the vehicle in the farmhouse could move, but it was cool!

A tank spawned in the farmhouse and didn't understand how to go out so we walked back and he faild, and maybe add some blood or a body in the house? It didn't look as anything have happend in there.

The ladder in the farmhouse hade light, its okey i guess, but i could see the ladder you hade hide under the ground! Not a big problem but please fix it next time you upgrade your campaign.

Bot's didn't jump out of the window's. I was alone for at least 30 sek while they was walking around. Lucky a hunter, charger etc didn't take me!

Second map:
Nice job! But add some light in the offices. It was too dark in there! And the meet room was pink / black for me.

Your map is really nice! But it have some problems...
If i walked under a roof the rain almost disappeared

Bots hade problem to follow me in the karnival

The weapons was on 1 place, the radio to! You dont need to go into your karnival!

You forgot player clip at start. I jumped on the car and then jumped out of your map! I was under the ground and was really safe.


Your design is really nice, but spread out the weapons and other things. And the radio, so you have to go into your karnival! And dont forget player clip! If you do, the players can go everywhere!

You did a good job whit your design and the water and cars outside, but it looks like you randomly created things inside, like gnomes on a table whit alots of bottles.

Really nice map! You need to figure ut how to continue if you haven't play this map before. Some things can be better but still nice

The places where zombie's spawn dont have walls everywhere, the problem is, you can get up there. Really strange whit no walls around you.

I loved this campaign on the first left 4 dead so i recommend you download it to left 4 dead 2

Some things was annoying, like the flowers whit big teeth ^^
Many boxes hade zombies in it. How can a zombie be in a little box?
It was hard to understand what you need 2 do on some places.
Nick's picture was changed after i played this campaign, really annoying.
The music its a classic mario song but it's annoying after a while

Your maps are nice but some things can be better. And it looks like some peoples computer crash if you try 2 play your maps on versus mode ^^

Pros:

If you want more kills & accuracy whit your weaopns is this the right map
Nice disco effect
You can get to safe room whenever you want
Alots of equip's
No annoying speciall infecteds after you start

Cons:

No baseball bats
No defibrillators
Bots die fast

Conclusion:

Some things dont exist on this map, but its well done. You should make it into a survival map!

It's easy to get lost and going around whitout finding the right place, you could make more signs maybe?
